Well done everyone (else). Particularly LongMeg and Littlefish.

Kewcumber · 30/11/2007 13:50

that was a good week wasn't it. In a way I had anot bad week either, back on the metformin and ultrasound of my feet/ankles on Monday coming so at least the beginning of getting it sorted out hopefully.

TigerFeet · 30/11/2007 13:53

Well done all - even you JackieNo

SO LongMeg there goes your first stone, well done

Wintersun · 30/11/2007 15:31

Well those figures sound very encouraging. Well done everyone. Hopefully I'll be joining you in good losses next week!
I'm going to start a food diary as that has helped me in the past.

Littlefish · 30/11/2007 16:04

Well done everyone. Especially well done to KewC for getting back on the tablets.

JackieNo, nothing to be about! You've been dealing with nasty wriggly visitors - that's enough for anyone to concentrate on.

JackieNo · 30/11/2007 16:11
JackieNo · 30/11/2007 16:12

But seriously, folks...They have all gone, thank goodness! I just need to rein in the snacking a bit more.

LongMeg · 01/12/2007 17:18

Wintersun, food diaries can work wonders; sometimes you forget how much you've actually eaten if you don't write it down.

The downside of them for me is that it makes me think too much about food - and I do that far too much as it is! It turns it into an obsession, a bigger deal than it ought to be.

OP posts:
LongMeg · 01/12/2007 17:19

Oh, and Jackie ... glad the little wrigglers have gone

JackieNoel · 01/12/2007 17:35

Thanks LongMeg - me too. I think Kew's at the big MN Christmas party tonight, isn't she - hope you have a good time, Kew. Tell us all the gossip when you get back.

deckthehallswithFEETofTIGERs · 01/12/2007 21:30

JackieNoel · 01/12/2007 22:18

Ah, g'wan, g'wan, g'wan - you know you want to LongMeg. You could be LongNutmeg, not too Christmassy, just a hint of spice.

WigWamBam · 02/12/2007 17:40

Bah!!

Have gone back to my real name. Never really felt like a LongMeg anyway!

And there's nothing you can turn WWB into for Christmas!

WigWamBam · 02/12/2007 17:41

Although I was WigWamBahHumbug once for a while ...

Littlefish · 02/12/2007 17:46

Once I can work out how to change my name, I'm going to be.......

OhLITTLEFISHtownofBethlehem

What do you think?

Now, how on earth do I change my name? I haven't changed it since the re-vamp and I can't work out how to do it. Please can someone help me!

JackieNoel · 02/12/2007 17:50

Littlefish - love the Christmas name - you go to 'my registration' at the top, and just type in your new name, then save changes (I think).

JackieNoel · 02/12/2007 17:51

After you 'log in' with your email and password, it's under 'registration details'.

OhLITTLEFISHtownofBethlehem · 02/12/2007 18:05

Has it worked?

deckthehallswithFEETofTIGERs · 02/12/2007 18:10

well done OhLittlefishTown

WigWamBam · 02/12/2007 19:00

Not another one ...

Kewcumber · 02/12/2007 20:57

Can anyone do anythign with a Kewcumber?

Xmad name that is.

No goss from the Xmas party, I stuck to diet coke and got a lift home at 11.30pm. I could actually have stayed a little longer but the lure of chauferred car back to my door was too much to resist!

Met some nice people, had some nice chats - all very civilised.

Bizarrely talked to someone I haven't ever seen on teh boards to discover that she placed one of my PA's with me (when I was important in anotehr galaxy far far away). That was a bit freaky.

Was good for my blood sugar though as the food was crap! WOuldn;t say that anywhere else as CD did a great job or organising and the venue was great but "Cuban" food . I don;t think the chef had even been to Cuba in fact not convinced he'd ever been firther than the Farringdon Road.

The Paella was described (quite accurately I thought) as Chicken curry risotto and the most bizarre dish goes to the butterflied grilled COLD (ie chilled) breast of chicken with big dollops of cranberry sauce on top. Well, I think it was cranberry sauce, either that or strawberry jam.

WigWamBam · 02/12/2007 21:13

Cold chicken with strawberry jam? Sounds ... interesting! Shame the food was awful but glad you had a good time.
