Sorry - forgot to post.

I lost 1lb this week - that's 10.5 in total.

I knew I hadn't done very well this week as I've had a few meals out. It's really hard not to over-indulge when you're out at a lovely restaurant with friends, isn't it! How does anyone else plan to cope over the next few weeks?

I have stayed the same

I have decided to cope by not being too bothered and making sure there is plenty of fruit to graze on. Thankfully dd is into apples and satsumas atm so we scoff those together.

Christmas is difficult, isn't it. I remember last year we had a break from posting the weights, but I'm not sure in hindsight that it was the best thing for me to do, so I may just post mine regardless. Or maybe not if I put on a load.

OhLITTLEFISHofBethleham - a pound is fab - 'not done very well' indeed . Especially when you've been eating out. You must have been pretty restrained either at the restaurants or in between.

Littlefish [frowny emoticon] you're not going to start with the "a pound isnt enough" business that we're all too prone to are you? Every ounce should be celebrated in my very humble opinion, never mind every pound!

On anotehr note - my mum has paid for membership to my old health club for my Xmas present and has promised to baby sit every Friday so I can go to my old acqua class I went this evening and it felt fab.

That's a lovely present, Kew (and am liking the name too). I like the sound of your mum. Mine sent us money, which is very generous of her, but means I've got to buy more presents, from her, for the DCs (what an ungrateful cow I am, aren't I).

Sorry, sorry, sorry ... completely forgot

Will catch up with myself tomorrow

Not sure what to do over Christmas. I think we took a break last year but I can't actually remember.

Stayed the same this week, which was a bit of a disappointment after watching it fall off over the past three weeks! Still, I guess it had to start tailing off somewhere along the line.

We did take a break, but maybe we should just make it optional to post weights (maybe if we want to we could post our own weights, so you don't have to collate them for a couple of weeks, WWB).

Hmmm ... what does everyone else want to do? I'm easy (cooer, missus) either way.

I think I'd like to keep posting my weight, even if other people decide they'd rather take a break. Might keep me vaguely on the straight-ish and narrow-ish.

(sorry - I'm not 'everyone else' - that's just me again).

I'd like to keep posting. I need every incentive I can!

Jackie and Kew you are, of course, right. I should be celebrating every loss. Like WWB, I just felt a bit disappointed having lost such a lot over a couple of weeks. However, it's been a really good reminder to me that I will only lose weight if I'm sensible about my eating. If I cheat, then the only person I'm cheating is myself.

I'd like to keep posting too. If i don't i may go mad and eat everything in sight!!

Hmm like i don't already do that lol

I am definitely going to keep posting weights - although I suspect that I will be posting gains

I am working over Christmas - just the bank holidays off - so if I eat sensibly at work then hopefully it won't be too bad. Trouble is, there tends to be endless tins of sweets in the office at this time of year...

I just need to get my head in gear for making an effort

I'll stop now, honest. My fingers pretty much do the normal smileys on their own, so remembering to do the 'f' in front doesn't come easily.

No, I meant

Humbug.

I was almost half tempted to put a Christmas one just to show willing, but I really can't bring myself to do it.

Will do the weights in a bit, have been a bit busy this morning and dd is poorly so not much chance yet.

Report
JackieNoel · 08/12/2007 14:42

Oh no - poor her. What's up?

I'll take the little santa hats as read on any of your smileys then, shall I?

I've just taken DD to a party at a friend's house. It's not that far, so we walked, but I'm now damp and my face is frozen.
