Tomorrow I will start what I've been putting off all year. Am frightened to actually step on the scales tomorrow but I must do this, my goal is to be fit enough to run the London marathon in October.
Not sure yet what my approach will be but definitely less booze and more sensible eating.
I'd love some support to help keep on track if there are any others wanting to join me?

Yes please! I came on looking for a June thread. My summer clothes don't fit, and we have a holiday booked in August.
I need to start tracking my food, and generally improve my diet overall stop snacking

Me too, please. I've weighed today and need to lose about 10-14 pounds to get into my summer clothes. Got a holiday booked in August and don't want to buy anything new. I need to stop drinking wine because it always ends with a carb binge.

I use MFP to track food, when I do it then it works well for me, but I manage maybe a week and then stop which is no good.
Hi fingersdoublecrossed too! Glad to see you have a holiday deadline as well, I am hoping this motivates me, after over a year of wfh I really want to fit into something nice for a change.

I'm going to start properly tomorrow. I've got a Gousto box coming and I've picked relatively healthy meals. I'm easing myself in a bit today. I've turned down an all day breakfast for some Skyr yogurt but I think we might end up ordering a takeaway or having a barbecue later. I'll try to make the healthiest choices. I've got a two week half term and really want to notice the difference in my work clothes by the time I'm back at school.

Hi fingers double crossed great you have joined too! Where are you going away to? I'm hopefully going to Majorca at the end of July so that's my aim. Are you a teacher? I am but only have 1 week off.
Am going out for a meal shortly so shall enjoy every mouthful and drop of wine!
Runningkatie I'm the same with MFP, unfortunately the novelty soon wears off! Are you a runner?

Yes - I'm a teacher. We had a week at Easter so two now. My DD only has one week so I'm going to enjoy this time with her and start my reports when she's back at school.

We're hopefully going to Fuerteventura at the end of August🤞🤞It's one of those holidays that's been booked for ages but the date has just kept being put back!! We should be there now, actually but I'm glad we're not because I'm not mentally or physically ready for a holiday abroad. 😂

Still haven't decided what to eat tonight.

Can I join please? I keep starting to cut down, lose a few lb and then for some reason sabotage my efforts by eating lots of snacks. I am over 17 stone now and aiming to lose 1.5 stone by the end of July and then continue slowly after that. I started mfp yesterday, forgot today. Will start again tomorrow and check in next week. Good luck!

I was a runner Pentium but my feet are a mess and I can't run, I feel lost with it. I've gained a lot of weight and lost a lot of fitness since I had to give up Sad

I have been trying to lose the last half a stone of baby weight for months but keep losing a couple of lbs then gaining it back!
I’m 10st1lb and would like to get down to 9st10lb by the end of June when we go on holiday but I’d take anything starting with a 9 Grin

I stood on the scales this morning. It was not good.
I am off out with dc1 for breakfast this morning as a half term treat and lunch at a friends. Not a great start but I'll go for good choices and track it all. It is a start.

I'm feeling positive today. If I can at least avoid junk for 1 day, it will be ab achievement, and tomorrow is another day!

I weighed in yesterday morning, then had an ok day food wise. No snacks, one small glass of wine. Chose vegetable vermicelli from the Chinese and only ate half of the tub.
Weighed in again this morning for a June 1st reading and I've put three pounds on 🤦‍♀️

How's everyone getting on? I've tracked calories today on Nutracheck and I've finished on about 1250. No alcohol.
Haven't been very active today apart from a bit of housework and a short walk.
I'm a daily weigher, so hoping there's no increase tomorrow! 🤞🤞

Good morning! I'm normally a daily weigher too but wasn't at home last night so will have to wait till tomorrow.
LambLamb I use the usn ultra lean it's gorgeous. I make them nice and thick.

Down 0.75 of a pound today but still annoyed that I'd jumped up 3 yesterday.
Anyway, Day 2 - what's everyone planning?
My plan is: Graze through the day on yogurt, fruit/veg, meal replacement shake. This evening will have a Gousto meal under 700kcal. No alcohol.

I am on the black coffee, I need to drink lots of water too, not just because it's warm.
Today I've got salad for lunch then dh and I are out this evening as the dc are away overnight. I need to check the menu and see what is available.

I actually don’t have any scales so can’t weigh myself but I have got my sisters wedding coming up in August and I would like to be slimmer for that.

I might measure myself and try to reduce my waist measurement. I am an apple shape so I have a tummy and big boobs.

I have been trying to make good food choices. I have batch cooked some recipes from Drs kitchen and I am trying to cut out chocolate which is my weakness.

I have also decided to do a 60 day yoga journey so will be doing two of Adriene’s 30 days of yoga back to back. I find it does help with my muscle tone which is otherwise woeful.
