Let me know if you are on this - there are a couple of threads but can't tell which is current.

(But please don't bother commenting if just to tell me not to do it - I am aware of the chances of regaining the weight at the end, but need something to motivate me in the early stages out of the current mess I've got myself into. I have tried many options, have had various forms of eating therapy and food coaching and understand what does/doesn't work for me)

I'm aware I need to drinks loads of water, any other tips? I have 35 kg to lose (!!) :-)

Hello!
Yesterday (day one) I tried :

 • Golden porridge
 • spaghetti bolognaise
-tikka
 • chocolate bar

Today:
Strawberry shake
Pesto pasta
Thai noodles
Porridge

Not been too keen on the pesto pasta but other than that been ok for dried food! Can see myself wanting to do four chocolate bars a day 😂

Had a bit of a headache this morning and feel a bit tired but that might just be general life. Trying to avoid weighing myself !!

Gemi33 · 26/05/2021 06:36

Morning!

I'm feeling a bit headachy and tired since yesterday. I've found the products ok so far apart from the shakes and smoothies which I'm really not keen on - tbh I'm not a fan of normal shakes so it doesn't surprise me. Will it work as well if next time I only order bars, porridge, soups and the meals? I wondered if because they contain water the shakes/smoothies are better for weightloss?

xx

Wingingit15 · 26/05/2021 13:04

I’m not drinking as much as I should and sneaked a peak on scales day 3 and nothing lost yet!!

Gemi33 · 26/05/2021 15:12

I haven't weighed myself but don't feel like I've lost anything. I know it's only a few days in but I thought I might at least feel a bit less bloated but I don't feel any different.

Wingingit15 · 27/05/2021 12:00

No weight loss today either...!

tiredvommachine · 27/05/2021 13:07

You really do need to drink your water, this will help move the weight loss along (hope I don't sound too bossy Blush)

I’ve made a massive effort to flush the last two days ... am I just a freak that nothing will shift weight from?!
anguauberwaldironfoundersson · 27/05/2021 14:24
@anguauberwaldironfoundersson I say it's good that you didnt' start yesterday. I deliberately waited until after my period as I thought I was setting myself up for failure (also wanted those extra initial couple of pounds to come off more easily to motivate me)

Good luck today. I find the lower carb the extra food or 200cal meal, the easier it is overall to stick to. May just be me
Thanks for the validation 😁 period started today so I'm going to be cracking on from June 1st!

tiredvommachine · 28/05/2021 18:45

I've lost 9lb in two weeks, slow but sure. Hope everyone else is doing ok Smile

Wingingit15 · 29/05/2021 20:21

I’m actually not finding 1b too hard - it’s really suprised me! And while not gourmet meals some of them are ok!

Gemi33 · 29/05/2021 20:38

I'm convinced I haven't lost any weight - I haven't really felt hungry or struggled as I thought I would and I don't feel like I've lost anything...

ramarama · 30/05/2021 08:03

So i have failed completely and had to fess up to my consultant. Mixture of too many social events to dodge and then an evening blowout where I ate most of the carbs in the house......

Sort of back on track now but still sneaking extra bits. So annoyed at myself. Trying to decide best new method - should I up myself to a slightly less restrictive version (eg 1b) so that I'm less inclined to steer off path?

tiredvommachine · 30/05/2021 09:50

What I do know is you really have to be in the right frame of mind to do this diet, it is brutal in my opinion. Yes, it works but you really have to be strong to get the right results. This is why I like step 2 as at least I get to eat a meal and don't feel too restricted just having products. It is hard, don't beat yourself up Flowers

Gemi33 · 31/05/2021 08:12

First weigh in...I lost 6 3/4 pounds.

I'm not sure how I feel about it tbh. On the one hand I'm really pleased and I know that nearly half a stone is a good loss but on the other hand there have been times in the past where I've lost 5/6 pounds in a week just calorie counting/healthy eating so it makes me wonder whether it justifies the cost and being on such a restrictive diet....

tiredvommachine · 31/05/2021 09:58

@Gemi33, I've had the same thoughts but at the moment, I wouldn't trust myself to just calorie count as I know I would soon end up just eating what I wanted because I know what I'm like!
I need the discipline of this diet to know I can't stray off it, if you see what I mean?
I have a dinner to go to in London at the end of June so that's focusing my thoughts as I have lots of nice clothes but nothing that fits Blush

Gemi33 · 31/05/2021 11:04

tiredvommachine I know what you mean and that's partly why I wanted to do this in the first place, I need the discipline. But I can't help thinking that it's an awful lot of money if I'm not going to lose weight more quickly than a conventional diet. It's also easier to adapt a conventional diet when faced with a social event etc compared to this one. I really want to lose weight and my consultant is lovely but if I find in a couple of weeks that it's dropped to around 2lb a week for example, I'm just not sure I could justify continuing.

ramarama · 31/05/2021 15:20

@Gemi33 It kind of depends if you could keep up that level of weightloss on your own. I know I couldn't - the first two weeks it comes off quickly, but then i almost stop....

Ok - so I basically gave up and have been half doing this for two weeks now. I'm freshly motivated and starting again tomorrow!

Hi everyone, just posted a new thread and immediately saw this one right after Confused doh.

I'm on week 3 of 121. Sailed through the first two weeks but I struggled this week and ended up ordering a pizza when my DH went out on Friday night. It was actually scary how compelled I felt to do it, I felt like an actual addict! Fessed up to my lovely consultant though and still going to weigh in tonight and have a fresh start this week!

anguauberwaldironfoundersson · 07/06/2021 07:30

I'm with you!

I really struggled to get into the swing of it and had a few successful days here and there. It's incredibly hard to get into the mindset isn't it!

ramarama · 08/06/2021 19:31

@anguauberwaldironfoundersson I'm finding it MUCH easier this week, now that it's hot. Its easier to not get hungry.

Day 1's weightloss alone was 3 kg (i'm serious - but aware it is all water weight) But it's motivated me to get through day 2, so let's hope it sticks this time until my appetite has decreased more generally.....

Wingingit15 · 08/06/2021 19:33

Also had a dreadful wagon day today, feel grim for it actually, week 3 and my momentum
Is definitely waning.not sure I have the right consultant. How much 1-2-1 does yours give ?

ramarama · 08/06/2021 21:25

@Wingingit15
We arranged initially for 1-1 chat once a week, and she instructed me to get in touch whenever else I need/want to. Just had a nice chat now. I imagine if I wanted her more, she would be avail more

I’ve seen some
Consultants set up watsapp groups and things for clients. On a f b page that’s amazing people also seem to have online profiles ?!

ramarama · 10/06/2021 12:14

Day four and I'm finding it much easier this time. Mainly because the heat is sapping my appetite. Hopefully can stick with it this time.

How is everyone else doing?
