13800 steps so far

I have ibs happier. The bloated look is wonderful

Ah that's shit gen. Bastards

Not2bObvious · 12/03/2021 16:36

9,300 here. I'm always bloody hungry, especially when hungover but I've fought it hard today. Only 1 hour til dinner. I have low level headache still from wine & horrible sleep.
That's worth a try then if there's no mad investment upfront. I think I've just got botched bowel! Bloody internal workings creak/grumble all the time

1196 steps here joys of office job, my average is 7.7K though so I'm not doing too badly for my lenten challenge.

Mrsmadevans · 12/03/2021 17:38

@Not2bObvious

I'm honestly not doing very much, absolutely not in comparison to what you're doing. I can see how you have a worry about Bob (your mum's boyfriend?) - gosh, you think being a parent is tough, then add in parenting parents, sandwich gen! I saw it when bringing ep to vaccine, a stream of grown up children bringing their ep's, it was the over 85's so some very frail folk. This last year has been such an eye opener about the fragility of the elderly
Flowers l saw it too Not . lt was exactly as you described , l found the experience very uplifting but my heart ached for the old people, you can never ever imagine being unable to do the simplest of things .
Mrsmadevans · 12/03/2021 17:43

Happier slow cooked ham is gorgeous . l can see why you would prefer it Grin also the Turkey lurkey curry will improve from a day of further marinating Grin
Life hope you are ok , that IBS is so painful as well as the bloating ! Flowers
Everyone seems to be doing well Smile
I am ok food wise , just clinging to the sides of the rickety boat in a massive Tsunami wave , or so it feels like it Grin

lifelongfrugaleer · 12/03/2021 18:11

Oh I'm fine. I can live with it.
Yes ep is hard. My DM is fit as a fiddle. Pil however Sheesh.

Chocolate today. My Sunday sin is Friday now

Not2bObvious · 12/03/2021 18:39

One sin day is a significant improvement life, well done you. On the tea & chocolate here, dinner was delicious, Chinese style - under 500 cals. It'll be an early night tonight!

Yes I think so. Have hurt my foot so though ok walking can't do aerobic class.
However Garmin is out of charge. Will do best today

Not2bObvious · 13/03/2021 10:04

Got up and did a jog to the shops, 25 mins, walked back. So that's just over 8,500 which is decent. Scales is back to Tuesday/Wednesdays weight. I'm toying with the idea of going a weight workout but hmmm not sure. Hope your foot is ok life

Morning everyone 😀
Weather is weird here it tried to snow a min ago! 🙄
Have to confess am getting 2 X afternoon teas for us for Mother's day from Morrisons, so bg the diet this weekend

Mrsmadevans · 13/03/2021 11:18

Posted before l finished 😂
Life really hope your foot is much better very soon 💐
Not great job especially getting out of bed this morning for a jog to the shops 👏😊
Better shift it's rugger all day today and l have told DH l am going to stay in our bedroom and watch Netflix !

Gensola · 13/03/2021 12:36

life hope your foot is ok!

mrs enjoy your cream tea, you deserve it with all the care you do for your family!

I have been cooking stuff to take to MIL for a Mother’s Day lunch tomorrow. Sea bass fillets baked with dill and leek, carrot mash with honey and cumin seed, baked fennel and saffron and a warm potato salad with a sort of herby crust instead of creamy dressing. I bought a lemon tart for pudding as on offer in supermarket and looked lovely.

We had a Lebanese takeaway last night and negronis and wine. Much needed Grin I do need to reign the drinking in but tbh I will have to once I start IVF meds in next few days so part of me thinks why not drink while I still can this may be why I am still overweight lol

Not2bObvious · 13/03/2021 15:40

Oooh cream tea, you do right mrs. I'm bored off my biscuit! Watched some junky stuff, now just pottering. Have to go to the local shop soon, ugh

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 13/03/2021 16:15

It feels like a stess injury or the top.
Eaten badly today cos tired

Not2bObvious · 13/03/2021 21:25

Just under cals, kept wine to a minimum and that was a great help. Friday & Saturday on track, who am I😂
Just over 12,000 steps, tomorrow will be the challenge. Takeaway lunch, possibly chocolates, I won't be drinking so might be better at resisting.....might being the key word

Mrsmadevans · 13/03/2021 22:36

Well done Not you have done brilliantly today! Smile
Gen your food sounds absolutely delicious your MIL is one lucky lady Smile
Life it does that to me too, hope foot is feeling less painful tonight Flowers
Thoroughly enjoyed the cream tea , Dds paid for it for us , we all really enjoyed it too Smile
Had better shift to bed , am tired out tonight it is probably all the sugar and carbs Grin

Gensola · 14/03/2021 07:36

We have had a lot of booze the past two days. Need to reign it in. Food has been ok though.
DH is making me a frittata with mushroom and watercress for breakfast - have trained him well! Grin

Gensola · 14/03/2021 07:36

Happy Mother’s Day to all xxx FlowersCakeGin

lifelongfrugaleer · 14/03/2021 07:39

Happy mother's day x

Wow not well done you.
I wasn't any where near plan but feeling grotty yesterday.

Cream tea sounds lovely.

Dh is cooking a bacon sambo and roast dinner today

lifelongfrugaleer · 14/03/2021 07:40

We are due to complete 26 Mar. I'm signing up to pp on 27th

lifelongfrugaleer · 14/03/2021 07:43

Will go for a walk today but still resting foot.

Gensola · 14/03/2021 08:12

All I can think about is cream tea now mrs 😂

Not2bObvious · 14/03/2021 08:25

Good news on the house life, how exciting! Don't overdo the walking.
Glad your cream tea hit the spot mrs, yummy!
Hope your visit to the in-laws goes well gen, your meal sounds amazing, I'd be thrilled if someone brought me that.
I'm down 1.2 today, bringing my average down .7, delighted. The difference in using happy scale over Fitbit is interesting, according to Fitbit I maintained. Logically the fact your weight average resets every 7 days is bonkers, illogical in fact. I know over time it shouldn't matter but if you're a drain circle'r like me, every bit of positivity matters. Tomorrow there'll be a jump after takeaway but shouldn't be too bad

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 14/03/2021 09:03

That's great going not
I won't. It's not a long walk to the bike track

Mrsmadevans · 14/03/2021 09:14

Happy Mother's Day Everyone ❤️whether you are longing to be a Mum or you have 10 children 💐
