I’m suffering with bloating due to too much fibre. Ffs. I’ve seriously increased water today. But the last few days have eaten way more fruit and veg. So fingers crossed this will go soon.

Just done Pilates. Am starting to feel so much stronger core wise.

Gyms open on Monday. Wahoooo

lifelongfrugaleer · 11/03/2021 07:02

Hope that problem clears soon em. Gyms wahoop

Not2bObvious · 11/03/2021 07:27

Up .4, the usual dance of the scales by the looks of it. Yeah it's going good life, not that I'm using it or anything much. I just need to keep at something for long enough to get over this barrier weight I've been stuck at for years. I hope I can

I have been drowning in work - today is the worst. Probably won’t even get out for a walk or spin class in as I’m so busy.
Wind here is terrible, slightly worried about the power cables to the house which come through the branches of a large tree, DH loves it as it is a silver birch but it may need to go as it is compromising the power cables I think.

lifelongfrugaleer · 11/03/2021 09:42

I may have fallen out with you know who but they do the best protein powder. My current one is gopping

Not2bObvious · 11/03/2021 12:22

I've given up on protein powder, I had bought some protein works ones on special after trying so many from H&B but all in all I've never been impressed by any of them. They probably aren't really something I need thinking about it. I say buy what suits you life, they are priced relatively ok?
Had donut & coffee treat with himself for elevenses. Just taking it easy today, had to do my family visit yesterday but it was ok, not too hard on the head and I'm glad I did it. Now to keep my patience tonight with EP, I revert to cranky teen🙄

Not it's really hard to cope but l do have my Dd1 and my Dh to help . I would not manage without them l know for a fact. I don't know how you cope tbh because it is very difficult doing it all yourself. Just having someone to make the difficult calls like when to get the Gp to them . I have a worry about Bob now though if anything happens to Mum , l can't see his family stepping up to the plate Hmm
I think if the worst happens then l will get social services in to do a care assessment and a financial advocate for him asap.

Mrsmadevans · 11/03/2021 16:07

Gen can you just get some boughs cut off instead of getting rid of the tree? I hope so lovely Smile

Mrsmadevans · 11/03/2021 16:10

Food has been ok , l am so not as dedicated to it as l was though but l would say l am STS atm which is good really. I think when the good weather comes everything is much lighter and brighter and l think we will all be much more like ourselves again. Smile

Not2bObvious · 11/03/2021 17:05

I'm honestly not doing very much, absolutely not in comparison to what you're doing. I can see how you have a worry about Bob (your mum's boyfriend?) - gosh, you think being a parent is tough, then add in parenting parents, sandwich gen! I saw it when bringing ep to vaccine, a stream of grown up children bringing their ep's, it was the over 85's so some very frail folk. This last year has been such an eye opener about the fragility of the elderly

The natural nutrients protein powder was deffo my favourite, can't even face the phd one I bought

I'm putting battery into my scales and facing the music in the morning, hoping it's not correct with the 183 it's told me last couple of mornings

I'm not tracking, I am snacking and it's not all fruit if you catch my drift Grin

lifelongfrugaleer · 11/03/2021 18:16

Bookend generation not

With ya happier. Sugar is a food group of its own here

Gensola · 11/03/2021 19:06

Day from actual hell again! Definitely counting the hours til thé weekend.

Not2bObvious · 11/03/2021 21:39

You're nearly there gen, hang on kid!
On the wine, not sure where I am on cals but not dreadful. Nearly 12,000 steps, not bad considering I only went outside for 20 mins to get coffee.

Yesterday this happened, temperature knob broke on oven, didn't know until it burned the brownies. Sliced off burnt top bottoms and sides and ate the middle with ice cream Grin
I've got a photo it won't attach though.
Epic brownies though if they were made right

Gensola · 12/03/2021 06:45

I definitely feel everyone on the looking after EPs front. FIL back in hospital, he wears a catheter which seems to go wrong very often and cause him pain/issues.
We are going down there on Sunday for Mother's Day to leave off some stuff for them and cook a meal (they can't cook at all now really, only just about warm things up so they eat a lot of ready meals). We aren't even sure if FIL will be home yet by then.

DHs sister doesn't do much to help, we asked if she was going and she said can she give us money and whatever we had got for Mother's Day could be from all three of us, which I was annoyed by as I put in a lot of effort but of course I had to agree!

lifelongfrugaleer · 12/03/2021 07:02

Liking your style there happier. I would have done the same.

Last day gen. Thank Christ.
Up at 3am having tea and toast gonna be a long day.

Sounds like hard work gen.

Not2bObvious · 12/03/2021 07:30

Your poor Fil, that sounds so uncomfortable and obviously upsetting with pain/hospital stays etc. Your sil is a cheeky fecker! I'm not looking forward to old age, I actively dread it. I'm not particularly enjoying middle age so no huge surprise I guess😂 Had words with EP, very stubborn and with wine taken, it was slightly heated. All made up before bed but I'm not looking forward to breakfast time. Uggg. In other news, jump of 1.2 today so back to 165. And I'm slightly hung over. Great

Came out to find my car has been vandalised for second time this week, only this time much worse. First time was glass smashed in driver side wing mirror, today the passenger side wing mirror is completely broken off the car and lying in bits on floor. I am so upset - we don’t have the money for constant car repairs and I also feel like someone is watching me or targeting me. Sad

Not2bObvious · 12/03/2021 09:47

That's horrible gen, I'm so sorry that's happened. There's some awful people out there - swinesAngry

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 12/03/2021 10:16

gen that's awful
Didn't put battery in scales it still says 183, will put battery in tonight.

No brekkie this morning so having yogurt and golden crunch and grapes at my desk for past hour

Dc with me all weekend
In conversation with my boss during the week I've found a home for 3 boxes of milk tray, giving them to local penny dinners place tomo. I will eat them mindlessly whereas if I make something eating it is intentional. if that makes sense

Not2bObvious · 12/03/2021 12:45

My scales needs a bullet not a battery😬 It's a hate/hate relationship these days.

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 12/03/2021 13:49

Similar relationship here not but I'm kinda of indifferent to it at this stage.

Think I maybe have ibs too after seeing a former colleagues post about it on instagram, similar symptoms, sometimes my tummy is swollen like i'm 8 months pregnant. Another weight loss friend takes rhubarb complex and swears by it so I'm going to try a course of them.

Not2bObvious · 12/03/2021 14:57

It'll do you no harm trying it happier, unless it's mad money of course! I'm painting my nails to try avoid snacking before dinner. Only 2.5-3 hours to go.....

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 12/03/2021 15:46

Not mad money but just ordered the free 10 day trial and paid postage only to try it out.

I've got turkey curry in the fridge, but I don't fancy it. I've also got ham that I slow cooked last night, maybe I'll have carbonara instead Hmm

I'm not hungry and still I'm thinking about food Grin
