Well done life! Celebratory chocolate biscuits don't count

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 25/02/2021 18:33

1652 calories, missed protein, 15600 steps. That will do

lifelongfrugaleer · 25/02/2021 18:34

Not Grin they were more biscuits than chocolate anyway

Not2bObvious · 25/02/2021 19:21

Ahh well then - no harm no foul😉 You must be so relieved, I did an exam in December and I swear it nearly killed me! Horrific, all the way through the exam I swore if I failed I was never doing it again. Thankfully I got it but the stress😩

Yay life well done! The chocolate was well deserved and definitely doesn’t count. I’ve thrown caution to the winds and booked a mini break in Dorset for me and DH in April. Hope to god we actually get to go. It’s a gorgeous place, in the countryside. He wanted to go to wales but the rules are different there and I was worried we might not get to go.
Failed on snack ban: oat cakes and goat cheese, satsuma. I was starving, yer honour!

lifelongfrugaleer · 25/02/2021 19:41

Yes, it was more the relief of not having to do it again.
Peckish so had a protein yoghurt. Around 1800 now so definitely stopping there

Not2bObvious · 25/02/2021 20:09

They're not snacks gen - wayyyy too nutritious, again I call no harm no foul.
Two glasses of wine in, snacks to follow. sorry folks nowt nutritious here - foul & harmful incoming!

not I am so jealous of the wine Grin if we had any it would be down the hatch. I am exhausted and so pissed off with lockdown etc.
I will be back in work in some form I think from 8 March but it isn’t really clear what is going to happen, whether we will wear masks all day (please no) etc. More stress and uncertainty!

Mrsmadevans · 25/02/2021 22:11

Up a smidge after last night, hit just under 2,200 so around maintenance if my Fitbit is to believed (shouldn't really) Still maintaining my .2 of a loss so #winning Hmm
That's brilliant that you're back on track mrs, great that you're feeling the benefits too.
Something Asian for dinner tonight, having the weekly takeaway tomorrow & maybe a roast on Sunday. Aim not to cock up as much as last weekend - repeat ad nauseum

not we are having duck breasts on lentils tonight and I had never realised how calorific duck is Shock will be keeping it for strictly special occasions after this. We got it in Lidl frozen, DH loves it.
We were trying to book a little break near Crickhowell again mrs as DH loves the brecons and the black mountains but we were too nervous about Welsh govt not letting us plague ridden Englanders in so we have booked Dorset for now and hope to do wales in July Grin

Not2bObvious · 26/02/2021 09:06

I'm so envious of your planned mini break gen, you really deserve it. We had plans for a few days away after Christmas, then we went back into lockdown on Christmas Eve. My mind is blown at how life has been this last year

Gen l think Mark Drakeford is going to open up for tourism sooner than Boris tbh. Our rates are very low now . The vaccination programme has been an enormous success here nearly a million done already which is a third of the population 🤗👏. Crickhowell is looking absolutely beautiful you may see go to the Kymin in Monmouth ❤️❤️❤️we love be it there 🤗

Mrsmadevans · 26/02/2021 10:05

Gensola · 26/02/2021 15:04

Ah mrs I just love your area! We were in Abergavenny in Dec 2019 and absolutely loved it. Found a hipster coffee place near to the big co-op and hung out there with the youth feeling ever so cool!
Can’t wait to go back there, hoping to get something booked for July.
I am finally done for the week!!! I have a headache from 4 hours of teams calls back to back but it’s done! The sun is shining!

Not2bObvious · 26/02/2021 16:03

What a fab view, you're so lucky mrs. I live near a park that the main river in Dublin runs through, so I'm thankful for that. I can also see the Dublin mountains from the top of my estate (housing estate - I don't have an estate, car or land😂) I am seriously craving sea air though.
Nearly 13,000 steps done, dinner prepped, new bottle of gin procured, wine chilling, showered, weekend ready I reckon😉

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 26/02/2021 16:28

Lovely view

Mrsmadevans · 26/02/2021 18:21

Thank you re the liking the view. l know l am lucky to live here 🤗
Gen we are not going anywhere until you come back! 😁
Been good today, although craving and craving l didn't give in . I knuckled up and had some fruit instead. Slow cooker chilli for tea poppadoms and rice for tonight 😋😁👏👍
Have a lovely weekend everyone 😀

lifelongfrugaleer · 26/02/2021 18:26

15800 steps. But ice cream...

Not2bObvious · 26/02/2021 18:28

I bloody love ice cream these days. Lidl's version of an icecream Mars for 170 cals is excellent.
Wine though...

OP posts:
Mrsmadevans · 26/02/2021 18:34

Steps are amazinglife ! Ice cream is compulsory after 15000 steps didn't you know that 😂
Not didn't know they did one like Mars l must look out for it 😀👍 l am a real convert to Lidl must be honest have you tried the app ? l love it 😁

lifelongfrugaleer · 26/02/2021 18:41

Ooh ice cream Mars. Now on maintenance for today. Need to step away from the freezer

Gensola · 26/02/2021 19:10

15,000 steps here but... wine and crisps. Blush and about to eat a massive roast duck dinner cooked by DH. And he bought salted caramel Haagen Dass. Ah well.

lifelongfrugaleer · 26/02/2021 19:40

I've just eaten a whole tub of Ben and jerrys Phish food. It was fucking lush and worth every calorie
