susiecutiemincepies · 21/12/2007 00:40

I was going to say the same SLB I had a crying screaming monster on my lap for about an hour or more. pinching and biting me and pulling my hair.

I"m sure its her teeth that are hurting her and she's frustrated , but still! I'm covered in little bruises from her pinching little fingers.

see you tomorrow ladies, maybe we ought to try another night for our party.

santaslittlebumper · 21/12/2007 08:35

Ah well, i'll keep the bar in the loft...

glad you enjoyed your RL night out mylittlepud. are you off today? if so, i hope it goes well....get that hubby of yours to let you have some more rest....

mylittlepudding · 21/12/2007 14:47

Hi ladies,

Not off until Sunday. Starting quetiapine today - things have not been good. I hope it is tolerable and things get better. DP is helping loads more - amazingly so - but is not that happy about it!

I did a practice run for Christmas dinner today! Mmmmm. Isn't it supposed to be good to eat your main meal at lunchtime, anyway??

susiecutiemincepies · 21/12/2007 17:28

it certainly is MLP

I do try to do that myself actually. We often have our main meal middle of the day/ early early eve at the weekend. Then we have something much lighter for tea at about 8ish...

even Isobel prefers her main meal at lunch time. She wont eat a proper meal at dinner time, so she usually has bread and jam or, boiled egg etc...

santaslittlebumper · 21/12/2007 19:52

evening lovely ladies
i've just been chatting with dh about dieting.we have decided to do it together in the new year
my sister gave up her diet so the competition between us didn't stand
funny though, now that i have given myself free rein to eat what i like i 'm not hungry
oh well,
will you all still keep me company next year?
i'll miss you if you don't,i feel i can talk to you lot about anything

hope your getting on ok today mlp x

pollywollybauble · 21/12/2007 20:38

good for you for sorting something out to help mylittlepud.....as for hubby, don't let him make you feel guilty...it's for all your benefits in the long run for him to do what he can to help you get well

slbumper isn't giving up the same as losing....get that tenner off her

evening susie....2 slippery nipples and she's anybody's...., is the flat still lovely?

pollywollybauble · 21/12/2007 20:42

btw have lost another lb....so thats half a stone by xmas (at least i met my 3rd modified target!)

i will still be here with my half stone by easter (and another by summer) target.....hopefully these won't all be the same half stone going on and coming off again

fedda · 21/12/2007 22:22

Congratulations, pollywollybauble!

susiecutiemincepies · 21/12/2007 22:56

Katy I will deffo be her neat year, dont you worry, and i'm with you on the being able to tell you all anything. Its been such a life line to me, TBH.

Unwittingly, you have all helped me through a really shitty few months. I can only thank you all for that really >

polly well done you!

MLP So pleased you have got a little more help from DH and the GP i truly hope you feel the difference soon and enjoy christmas together, even if it takes a little longer than that, its a good start for a long term gain...

Fedda long time no see nice to see you still hanging in there with us

SO, i had fish and chips to day from the chippy, and have just demolished a turkish delight!

well, i intend to really crack the whip after the festivities, ( on my self of course and be at least a stone lighter by easter. I kind of had Isobel first birthday in mind as a good starting point.. you know a full year of being a bit larger. I'll be stopping br feeding soonish too, as she's not that interested any longer so, it seems sensible to really give the diet a good go, and sort out my analgesia too at the same time. SO limited on what i can take when feeding her still.

we will all enjoy our christmas dinners, and the days that follow, knowing that come the new year, we will be starting our forst month to becoming slinky laydees by eater... high days and holidays dieters we are. my mum would be proud at using these religious dates as significant markers in our dietry diaries!

susiecutiemincepies · 22/12/2007 06:54

Morning ladies >

we've been up since silly o'clock. someone is wide awake and eating bread and butter and jam just now. I'm trying to keep my eyes open , and failing badly!

i am hoping I might be able to do a bit of milk bribery soon.. and snuggle back into bed. Its freezing here and really foggy.

DH didnt come home last night Fuelling problem at derby. fingers crossed it gets sorted this morning and he'll be on his way. Very fed up about it. We had a HUGE argument. Why is it that the rest of his company all go off for christmas for 2 weeks yesterday morning, he's left working most of the day, nad then waiting around all evening and today probably to sort our this problem.

Why cant he just farking well say NO or not answer the phone????? I"M so so pissed off.
I know its not really his fault, but, it happens every bloody time we have stuff planned. Not a happy cutie house today.. .

susiecutiemincepies · 22/12/2007 06:56

my post before last should have read katy i shall deffo be here *next year, not neat... but i suppose i might be neat too?

pollywollybauble · 22/12/2007 12:01

susie...does he not realise that you need him as much as his company?....maybe hide his phone over xmas ...hope you are asleep now...

i am relaxing for ten mins whilst "thomas, he's the cheeky one, percy's small he's lots of fun...." entertains the small girl...it's very useful when they are bigger...mind you she is a bit like a grunting teenager if you try to talk to her whilst it's on

mind you i feel i ought to be doing something as friends keep saying things like "today is the day i go to m and s for the sprouts and visit auntie maud in the outer hebrides......still that's the advantage of being home alone for xmas with a veggie hubby who isn't used to making a big thing of it.....i did threaten him with death if he failed to pick upsome parsnips for the roasting though!

was looking forward to a neat new year

Jahan · 22/12/2007 13:16

Oh no! I missed the party! Drat.
I went to stay at my mums for a few days so bye-bye diet. It was a religious festival which meant a big family get together and lots of yummy food.
And we've still got Xmas to get through yet!
I'm back on the diet for today and tomorrow - damage limitation!

Sorry for your dh, Susie. Fingers crossed for you.
Congrats Pollywollybauble!

mylittlepudding · 22/12/2007 15:29

I agree that Katy has won the competition too!

Was it Eid you were celebrating, Jahan? Assume so it being this week - I hope you had a good time with family, far more important than the diet.

I am seriously sedated with these drugs. And eating plenty. can see why people put weight on with them. Maybe I shall just fondly remember the time I was 10st10 and fit back into my size 10 trousers!!!

Well done polly for losing your half stone! I don't think I'm going to weigh again til after Christmas
