Hiya all

I'm just straying way off all the time at the moment. No point in doing a big shop as we are moving in 3 days... >> so i just keep eating rubbish. I'm also worrying again, about getting every one who's offered help to do it all. with me not doing a single thing and just directing them all. Can't bare the thought of that.

Well done jahan and katyb sounds like things are going the right way for you two clever ladies

I just wish I could re find my motivation and my discipline at this. I have never had trouble losing weight before. I always decide i'm going to do it, and just do! I stick at it, until i'm happy. God knows why i cant this time. Its getting me down again girls

Anyway... mr C is back home again tomorrow night! yayyyyyyyyyy we have not paked a single bean! so intend to get the majority done thurs and fri. Mum is having Isobel friday and saturday and we might even get a full nights sleep on friday night... so long as mum thinks she can manage

Hope you girls are all really well.

Breakfast: mug of milk and some farleys rusks.
Lunch: Fishermans pie.
Dinner: some sort of casserole with small portion of rice. ( mums home made)

Oh, i may well loose some weight this week, I have a tooth with a chronic infection and absess in it. It needs removing, and is booked in next tuesday. Its bloody painful, most of the time so cant eat on that side. Its basically just a shell of a tooth now, not centre to it. anyway, I now have a matching one on the other side, and also this one ( the original) fractured length ways this eveinging. Boy does it hurt! Hoping ot get an emergency appointment in the morning, but either way, i can hardly eat at all!

so, maybe i can find some positive from it!

pollywollybauble · 11/12/2007 22:33

evening all!

this eve am proud mother of woollies angel!
one line of little donkey and i was away

mylittlepud, glad you got some rest....is it payback time now that manflu has arrived? I admire that you can stay with your mum for a weekend...

Susie, IME dentistry is good for the belly ! I find it hard to diet when I'm panicking.....lists, lists, lists and delegate, delegate, delegate....if they offered to help, call them in on it (if they didn't mean it, well that will teach them!)find out one way or the other anyway.....i have real difficulties asking for help but it amazes me how happy people generally are to help out

well done on the jeans!

anyway
brekkie...1 slice toast
nativity...mince pie
lunch......tuna and salad cream and salad sarnie. cappuccino
mids.......piece gingerbread(but only made one shape so that i didn't feel obliged to collect the set!)
eve.....oven fish and chips and mushy peas
just....cappuccino and halva

tomorrow is another day!

Jahan · 11/12/2007 23:02

Susie - I agree with pollywolly that its hard to diet when you are stressed. Plus you're not shopping. Its not the easiest of circumstances. Poor you with the abscess. I had one on my gum due to wisdom teeth probs once and it was soooo painful.

Ds2 had his 1st immunisations today and is very unsettled . Don't think I'll be getting much sleep tonight.

today;
fruit'n'fibre, yoghurt
soup, 2 slices bread
pasta

snacks - fruit and nuts(I think I'm eating too much of these!)

mylittlepudding · 12/12/2007 06:43

Susie - if it were me, I'd put it off til after the move. (Still come and talk to us though). You've lost weight before, you know therefore that you can do it again, but there is just too much else going on and you don't need to be beating yourself up. I hope looking to a night off helps you get your head round everything else. And go to the dentist!!!

Polly - it sounds lovely, well done to your dd. Like the gingerbread philosophy too. No-one apart from me is eating dd's cake now (dd seems unfussed is she really my daughter??) Fortunately dp is doing well on the mince pies I made.

Jahan hope he settled better than you thought, and that you have dosed him up.

santaslittlebumper · 12/12/2007 12:49

Hi,everyone. Brealfast - half a bowl of poridge with honey. School run, toffee nut latte without cream at Starbaks but still . Lunch - Covent garden chicken soup - the whole pack, don't understand half packs with steamed broccoli, tea with blackcarrant jam in it and unsalted nuts and dried cranberries on a side. Dinner will be home made minced meat with shop bought baked beans and fresh tomatoes and red pepper. Snacks - dried crunberries, fresh apples. I'm afraid in this weather I had my 5 cups of tea yesterday.

tangarine · 12/12/2007 14:55

Jahan, if you haven't already dealt with the evil creamy thing, cut off a piece, put it on a plate, put the rest in the bin and throw something inedible on it, eat the piece on the plate......?

pollywollybauble · 12/12/2007 20:34

ps fedda, i'm obviously missing out...i didn't even know that you could get a toffee nut latte......did you enjoy it?

Jahan · 12/12/2007 21:05

I still haven't had any cake so thanks for your help. I can't throw it away as I would feel so guilty. Its such a fantastically delicious cake from the best bakery in town and dh and ds1 can still eat it. I think I'll have the tiniest sliver - I am bfing after all .
I've ordered a tae bo dvd so I can exercise at home on days that I can't get out. Anyone else tried it?
Good for you tangerine! I bet you feel good too.

santaslittlebumper · 12/12/2007 21:06

Jahan · 12/12/2007 21:10

Oh, congrats on quitting your job santaslittlebumper. I'm sure you're going to love it being a sahm. Much more rewarding and fun than work!

pollywollybauble · 12/12/2007 21:40

sntaslittlehelper, i'm strictly a purple or green triangle girl......
make sure you have a formal end of maternity/start of stay at home mumming party...any excuse for a party...if you don't have one in RL, set a time on here and i'll come

santaslittlebumper · 12/12/2007 22:16

yay partycan i wear a twinkley top?

susiecutiemincepies · 12/12/2007 22:37

hi all

Thanks again, for all your advice on the moving... dont suppose any of you are in the area over the next few days, you know, to just pack a few things up and wander down stairs with them ?

I think you might be right about the diet. maybe if i put it on hole slightly for a few days, i'll feel more positive about getting back into it when things are all settle and a bit easier.

I hope you will all still be here after christmas, and into the new year. I'm worried you'll all get slinky and leave me here on my own, just typing away, menu after menu...

that said, i've not been too bad today and yesterday, as i cant eat too well!

Went to the dentist as emerency today, more antibiotics and a temporary thing to stop half my tooth falling out! Back on tuesday for the whole thing out. Cant come too soon really

Today:
slimfast
lunch: nothing
afternoon, a couple of caramel waffle biccie things.
note to all
Do not buy these, they are the most moorish things i've ever eaten... heaven, pure, unadulterated heaven!
Dinner: Liver ad bacon and small amount of mash. ( the thought of which makes me feel sick now! )

Oh, and DH not back tonight. was called to a fuel problem in B'ham on a site he worked on a while back. So, he's leaving first thing. needless to say, its sent me into a huger panic... why does HE have to go and sort every bloody thing out for that company???

Jahan · 12/12/2007 22:39

Sounds like an excellent plan. I'm sure I can eat as much virtual cake as I want, can't I? There will be cake, won't there?
(I am obsessed)

susiecutiemincepies · 12/12/2007 22:42

i would like the party too !! i didnt read it properly!!

Ill bring some of those caramel waffle things, and get you all addicted too, then, you will all still be coming back here for a while.. or is that terribly mean?
