Welcome to the new thread!

OP posts:
mylittlefreya · 20/11/2007 08:43

at much of the above, apart from little Isobel being poorlier again. It is so hard doing the effectively-a-single-mum thing when your DH is just not there. You are doing great, hang in there, susicutie.

I only lost 1lb last week despite the dysentery tummy bug. 10st13 again now.

Should I be mylittlepudding or mylittlechristmaspudding for Christmas?? The first being what I actually call Freya quite often!?

Love Katy's new name!

katybump · 20/11/2007 09:12

definately mylittlepudding well done on the 1lb lossx
i still need a christmas name,my brain won't work though, have been up all night again with dd having a temperature and screaming ,ds of school too with sickness.

susiecutie that is how i do slimfast.not weighed again yet but i do feel thinner and my jellybelly has stopped wobbling as much

mylittlepudding · 20/11/2007 16:28

I've never changed my name before!!!

Have been baaaaad today - as malt loaf is BOGOF in Tesco. Not that there's anything wrong with malt loaf in moderation .

katybump · 20/11/2007 17:25

mmmmmm maltloaf

well i've been very good and had a slimfast for breakfast and one for lunch.i haven't had time for anything else.trying to sort out some stuff and dd has not been a happy bunny todayso i've had my hands full(instead of my face)

tangarine · 20/11/2007 20:28

Sorry to hear about all the poorly littlies.

Have kept on the straight and narrow today again...

Special K, Coffee
Shapers caeser salad, fruit and yoghurt, water (can you tell I work close to a Boots?!)
Chicken stir fry with noodles (dh cooked again bless him)

pollywollybauble · 20/11/2007 20:47

big hug to all those with poorly children/selves....

to all those who have bodies that are now 90% malt loaf....good name though....i did like mylittlexmaspudding for the festivities!

chez polly, the weather is crap, we've spent too much time indoors where it is too hot( because FIL can't tolerate normal temps) we are all irritable and shouty and dd has cracked the window of the patio doors

on the plus side the outlaws have gone home, dd not hurt and the insurance should cover the window...

now ladies what i need is an online calorie counter....and advice on relatively painless ways to reduce cals.....have included cals where i know them....

BTW i know i could not nick hubby's chips (but WHO can resist a few)and not drink 2 capps...in my defence it was an outlaw day and i needed the caffeine(see things MILs say for further info...)

brekkie...2 crumpets (184), scrape of flora buttery(?), marmite

mid am cappuccino (90)

lunch 2 slices wholemeal(200) no spread, 50g tuna in water (?), salad cream (45)
8 of hubbys chip shop chips (?)

eve...oven chips (200) beanburger (280) and broccolli. a tablespoon of crumble (?) and sa tablespoon of yoghurt(?)

now cappuccino (90)

mids..apple and satsuma(100)
eve...

katybump · 20/11/2007 21:34

tangerine...you are going to be a foxy lady come christmas

pollywollybauble.... good menu.you seem to have a good balance of naughty and nice.keep at your cappuccino,it's definately your treat and so much better for you than say a mars bar or 3 a day

katybump · 20/11/2007 21:35

susiecutie....did you manage to give the slimfast a try? x

susiecutiemincepies · 20/11/2007 23:46

Hi, not had chance to get any today Katy. I hope i'll get some tomorrow.
Break: wholemeal toast and jam ( no butter)
Lunch: mashed pots, parsnips and tuna, sprinkle of cheese
Tea: cauliflower cheese and bacon (at my mums) banana with bit of custard for pud.

went to pain clinic. Am going to have another MRI scan. cannot bare them... really really hate them SO much
Also, some injections into vertebrae/discs and sacro iliac joint and faccet joint.. fairly soon for those fingers crossed. also suggested a patch for pain but not while br feeding. So will have to wait for that... stay on morphine for now

Some good, some bad news though hey

Also, we've got a date to move into bigger place, Dec 15th. being released from this contract early, thank god.

your menu looks ok really polly... but am tired.. will look properly when a bit more alert
well done tangerine... keep it up

katybump · 21/11/2007 18:33

evening all

having a good day slimfast wise.still not weighed myself though.i know i'll be really fed up if the scales haven't moved so i've hidden them under a pile of towels in the bathroom
how is everyone today?anyone need a kick up the arse?it's christmas in 5 weeks aaargh

pollywollybauble · 21/11/2007 18:44

susie....i got through my MRIs by imagining myself on a beach and keeping my eyes closed...didn't like the hot flush with the contrast medium...which bit don't you like?
good about the injections and new place though...

Ra!Ra!Ra! Katy...get those scales out....you can do it!

today
brekkie...shreddies and skimmed milk
lunch.....tuna and salad cream on wholemeal. apple.cappuccino
eve...not sure yet, have been to dentist and my mouth is still full of that cotton wool feeling...said to dh afterwards that 1 and a half hours was a long time to keep my mouth open for...he said he didn't actually know that i could close it! Cheeky sod!

susiecutiemincepies · 21/11/2007 21:02

I dont like the actual going into the tunnel Polly. I'm not normally bothered by small spaces... I think maybe actually, it might be the tunnel, the noise, the having to keep still and being in lots of pain and lying flat, which is really painful for my hips. I htink i'll ask my GP for some sort of tranquiliser... i had it last time but was an inpatient..

I had been good today, until I got home. Went to see my big sister and ate really well. then got in, no food in, and had a bout 4 little caramel chocolate squares. they're only about 1.5cm x 1.5 cm... but SO tasty... nust be bad as they're so nice. Mum bought them for Izzy to have after her supper this week...

Will DEF' get the dslimfast tomorrow. getting an online shop.
Hope you are all ok

pollywollybauble · 21/11/2007 21:36

good idea to get a one off dose of valium or something from the gp (then at least you can feel like you are flying away to a beach )

i wish we had something small and chocolatey around here...i could murder that at the moment....also know that if there had been a packet here they would probably have all gone

teeth really sore now so for tea have had soup and "bread middle"....that didn't work so have also had porridge....

susiecutiemincepies · 21/11/2007 22:55

good tea Polly well done... secret is NOT to buy chocolattttteee things THen you simply cannot eat them... although, i walk past them and they shout "resistance is futile my pretty" and they end up in my possession... what can I say ?

As for diazepam... reckon i'd need a very large dose for it to help, but I think I will ask my GP. will mean no br for Isobel for a day... I think she will survive She'll have to when I have the other things done.

I'm just having a few little tenny weeny oven chips. I forgot to eat this eve and am SO hungry with no food in the house. I'm sure the oven chips are better than the only other option, of a magnum.

katybump · 22/11/2007 15:23

ok i weighed,i couldn't wait any longer and i've lost 4 pounds!so 8 pounds in total i think.down to 11st 1lb

katybump · 22/11/2007 21:50

cube of poo pmsl

sorry ,but have you read that thread it is very funny

doing well pollywollybauble

8lbs in 8 weeks not exactly my target but not bad for a slacker

susiecutiemincepies · 22/11/2007 22:09

No i've not seen it, BUT... I was very surprised when I discoverd Isobel throwing a big poo around the living room this morning I'd obviously not done her nappy up very well, nearly impossible at hte moment with her wriggling and my back... so, she'd taken it off while i made breakfast.

Came in to find her playing her latest game, chucking things around and fetching them, occupies her for hours... then i realised it was HER POO!!!
She must have just found it behind her on the floor and thought, ooo, handy thing to throw! and off she went, much to my horror!

anyway, sorry! prob TMI?

katybump · 22/11/2007 22:16
