pollywollybauble · 17/11/2007 20:37

dd made smartie cookies at spotty day at preschool yesterday ...i only had a little bite....i would prob have had more but she was watching me very intently...

mylittlefreya · 17/11/2007 21:26

I'm glad you have been enjoying yourselves!

Where is dd, polly?

I had some chicken pie and (homemade) chips for tea - small portion, but um, naughty. And a glass of wine.

Off to bed now since it seems we do 3am every morning nowadays.

pollywollybauble · 17/11/2007 22:00

with my mum, they both love it....and so do i!....mind you my mum always looks a bit knackered afterwards....

night night mylittlefreya

pollywollybauble · 17/11/2007 22:01

and dh has gone out with some old uni mates and is staying at one of their houses.....cue polly sleeping like a starfish tonight...

spottyshoes · 18/11/2007 08:33

I know I'm a bit special Polly but didn't realise they were holding special days in my honour in your area!!!!!

Your afternoon sounds lovely! ()

pollywollybauble · 18/11/2007 14:46

spotty, i did think twice before posting details of my day yesterday because of the vibes it would induce but i thought i needed to set my malteser consumption into it's proper context!

i thought of you before spotty day when my local town shoops failed to turn up even a spottyish pair of tights or a t shirt....i thought i bet we could have borrowed some magic shrinking spottyshoes or something....but i settled for sewing enormous sequins on her uniform in a come dancing stylie...

well today it's back to headless chicken mode, woke up at 10.30 when hubby came home....good because well rested, bad because in-laws due at 12 and a there is a significant cleaning deficit in this house at the mo'

ok, fil having a nap, dh reading the sports section, dd and mil are slowly destroying the lounge playing hide and seek....they have been playing for nearly half an hour and still they go on (the lounge isn't that big!).....time for MN i think!

add stilton and crackers to my list y'day

today
lunch...tuna and mayo and salad sarnie. cappuccino
eve...quiche and veg and maybe crumble and custard

spottyshoes · 18/11/2007 17:18

OMG NO SPOTTY THINGS! OUT-BLINKING-RAGEOUS

Everyone needs to own a spotty bra though Polly Granted maybe not suitable to send a child to school in though

Glad you had such a nice day yesterday.

pollywollybauble · 18/11/2007 20:26

i haven't owned a spotty bra since i graduated to underwired in my teens....but in your honour i will have a look-see in the latest bravissimo catalogue

latest incident chez polly

when dd farts i throw a blanket over her and tell her i've put her in the proop tent

this eve mil(who is a lady!) let a tiny one out and dd said "in the proop tent grandma!" and threw the blanket over her...

didn't know whether to or so settled for a mish-mash of both until i came out of the room when won easily

food as earlier with an additional cappuccino...

susiecutiemincepies · 18/11/2007 20:49

Eveing slimmers!

you do make me laugh polly... i'd have stiffled a laugh and ended up blowing a raspberry or gaffing trying not to....so, well done you!

I confess this next bit is copied from another thread i posted on but wanted to update you lovely girls too... :

Dd is SO much better today. had a bad day yesterday, and my DH was with first thing in the morning. SO i was really relieved. Too short a time though, he's just driven off back up north for the week.
oh, and the fumes have gone completely... thank god!
I'm glad he saw her improvement though, he was upset enough leaving ,without leaving her here and really poorly. She left him a lovely leaving pressie though, and snotted all over his clean black jumper

I just want the wheeze to go now. Dr's said it can hang around for a couple of weeks. Also, that its likely t come back this season, and often fairly quickly as it really knocks their immune system and makes them vulnerable. fingers toes and everything else crossed against that happening...

Hope you are all ok though? I've got a confession.... I've a chicken korma heading my way, with a naan bread... I'm SO hungry, and fed up and have not got the energy to cook... Dh told me to.. so shall we blame him? MIss him already.

susiecutiemincepies · 18/11/2007 20:51

polly I have just had the latest Bravissimo catalogue, and have to say, i'll be ordering more than one there are some truly gorgeous ones! sod the breast feeding, i'll just have to manage by heaving them out

spottyshoes · 18/11/2007 21:07

LMAO Polly - your dd is dead savvy

Susie I'm with you on the Korma tonight

Brekkie: Weetabix, blueberries and banana - half stolen by DS

I have thieving hungry children in my house today

Off to browse Bravissimo - everyone has one, feel i'm missing out on something!...

katybump · 18/11/2007 21:31

pollywollybauble · 19/11/2007 21:01

i feel the same katyb...my clothes are fitting better....but no loss

anyway when the weight has gone katy you should change your name to katyoompahoompahnothingupmyjumpah (bit long though )

it has taken me a day to get a hold of my sod it and binge self so don't pick apart todays menu please....i know it's not a weight-loss friendly one

brekkie....wheatflakes

lunch...two thick slices of granary bread and butter with lots of white stilton and apricots (and a large helping of sod the diet)oh and salad....and a viennese whirl

evening..an enormous baked potatoe with butter, cheese and onion ("no good for you") pasty and veg then custard (was too full for the crumble or would have had that as well...actually was too full for the custard really!)

it could have ben worse....at least i stopped between meals

and now i feel claggy and stuffed!

katybump · 19/11/2007 21:13

i love my new name
i promise not to pull your menu apart if you leave mine alone too

dinner..... 2 cans lager and a glass of wine

it was my monthly day out with my twin sister and this time we went to the pub

shall we wipe the slate clean and think thin tomorrow ?

pollywollybauble · 19/11/2007 21:15

ok clean plates slates tommorrow

katybump · 19/11/2007 21:19

tangarine · 19/11/2007 21:25

Hello katybumpers,

Hope you are all well. I've been away all weekend and had too many meals out last week, but am back on the straight and narrow now!

katybump · 19/11/2007 21:34

hi tangerine, great menu ,puts mine to shame

pollywollybauble i'm going to track down a pina colada flavour slimfast and drink it in my bikini
or maybe not . a bikini is one of the reasons i'm doing this .aaaaarrrghhhh.must think thin.off to give myself a stern talking to and a kick up the arse

susiecutiemincepies · 19/11/2007 23:32

Watch girlies
Finished off the Korma tonght, it was lovely. Fter all sunday was day of rest right?
Isobel is not so well again today. Temp gone up again, and coughing loads again too. I'm SO SO tired. my mum is not at all well either, so cannot come and help out. I'm feeling a bit crap too tonight, really really sore throat, and very runy nose when i was getting isobel to bed.

ONe of the nurses di tell me they can go backwards before forwards... i hope this is all thats going on.

So, diet? will be really good tomorrow. PLus, I am going to try slimfast with you Katy . I think it will fit in really well with me at hte moment. I often done feel like eating with htese painkillers, so then eat at daft times, and randomly... so if 'm def' getting something twice a day to keep metabolism going itll really help i think. then nice meal in eve.

is that stil how its done ?

hope you are all well
