Morning everyone 🤗 just off to Bob's to sort them out 😀 it's very frosty this morning. The roads are awful , it's actually very dangerous l think. Thankfully the roads up there have a good grip and been gritted because the other road has been blocked due to landslide, so they grit well. We are forecast snow tonight and in the morning so I don't know if I'll be able to get there tomorrow . So done all their shopping and we will see how we get on . They have loads of stuff and his daughter lives 5 doors away so she'll pop in, she isn't very well herself but I know she'll keep an eye on them for me, hope everybody OK . Back to IF yesterday will see how it goes today , good luck to everybody & have a good weekend 🤗

Not2bObvious · 23/01/2021 09:15

Down .6 today, 161.6 - this is my new 2021 lowest, so we have a new number to bounce up from! Just in time for the weekend😂 Did ok on the food front last night but drank too much. Slow learner here. I'll need to sweat it out later, going to see what LM has to offer. Weekly takeaway on the cards, Chinese this time so I'll have super bloat tomorrow no doubt - can't care too much, I wouldn't even know if I wasn't such a scale fiend

I’m back where I was before the period bloat - 65.6kg - started at 68kg. Hoping to see at least another kg or even two off before embryo transfer which will be in about 10 days so going to try for a super healthy week and lots of spin and walking. Once I have transfer I think it’s no exercise for two weeks so need to make the most of it!

Not2bObvious · 23/01/2021 09:44

Wow, that's over 5lb, that's excellent gen. 10 days of laser focus will easy yield you another kg or even more. You can then just focus on good nutrition for the 2 weeks after, all fingers & toes crossed for you!

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 23/01/2021 11:49

Agreed even 2 weeks of focus will help gen.

Not2bObvious · 23/01/2021 13:01

Did an easy body pump for 30 mins, then treadmill 35, quick walk to shop, just over 7,500 and my target today is 9,000 so I'm pleased. Linda sausages and crumpet for lunch to save cals for takeaway later😋

DH is making duck cassoulet later (he is half French so loves that sort of cooking) so I had salad and a wholemeal pitta for lunch. Did 60min vinyasa yoga session but was a bit frustrated as I couldn’t do a lot of it so then I was like Hmm am I actually getting any benefit?!
Spin later when DH is cooking, walkies now in the cold winter sun. We are painting atm, we moved in to our house in October so lots to do!

Mrsmadevans · 23/01/2021 16:47

Great news Gen & Not am so pleased for you both! Smile

lifelongfrugaleer · 23/01/2021 18:49

Far to much home made curry. Has a bash at naan bread. Too much butter bit very nice, will make them again

Not2bObvious · 23/01/2021 19:21

I've literally taken another 100 steps since this morning! Back is a bit sore, so have been resting. Had a delicious Chinese, bit too much of course but it is the weeks treat

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 23/01/2021 22:20

Experiment time, last night I weighed myself before bed - had decent dinner, a few drinks (...quite a few truth be told) - 162.2
Tonight, post Chinese and not as many drinks 166.2 - I'm betting a 164 at least in the morning after a 161.6 this morning. Goes to show it's just numbers.
Of course I'll be like a demon when I see it, so just giving y'all a heads up. I'm decent like that😉

OP posts:
Gensola · 23/01/2021 22:54

not that is very comforting from the perspective of someone on the wrong side of a large dinner, cheese, wine and hot chocolate 😅

Gensola · 23/01/2021 22:55

I may not weigh for a couple of days anyway... give it a chance to settle?! 😳

lifelongfrugaleer · 24/01/2021 07:18

I'm still full off last night and didn't sleep well because of my gluttony.
You totally know it's bloat not

Not2bObvious · 24/01/2021 07:44

I would stay off the scales if it could upset you gen, let it work it's way through your system.
I'll weigh shortly as I'm determined to get it all in happy scales for this month, good or bad - it's just data...sob

165.2, 3.6 up from yesterday's low. That's fine, I had a treat meal - it was expected. Should see it gone in a couple of days. I need to go fill in mfp honestly as I've been a bit lax - this will make for an uncomfortable few minutes, dredging the memories for crimes against dieting!

OP posts:
ememem84 · 24/01/2021 08:27

I’ve been so lax with mfp. But have been good with my steps. Averaging 10500 a day. And whilst wfh this has been a massive challenge.

But I’m doing it!!

Also no snacking is tough. But am really trying hard there too.

Gensola · 24/01/2021 08:43

em steps while WFH is so hard, I need to try and crack it somehow. We have snow today which is exciting - first of the winter!

I have a huge amount of prep and work to do for teaching this week so today likely to be sedentary. Will go for a snowy walk with DH even if just for an hour!
I think I might get a standing desk thing to put on the dining table for teaching. I’m just worried about spending the money and then realising I can’t work standing up Grin

Not2bObvious · 24/01/2021 09:05

Well that wasn't a pleasant experience. Obviously I can only guess with the Chinese cals, it could be worse even then I've estimated. Anyway, all done, today will be better. Pity my back is twingey, not sure what sort of steps I can get done, and it's snowy/icy out so that rules out a walk.
Great steps em, especially since you're wfh.

Spending today pottering around the house. Have only just put my watch on so have only tracked 536 steps. It was charging....annoying.

But I reckon I’ve done over 4000.

Not2bObvious · 24/01/2021 12:06

Your body knows your steps, you can add them in manually too if you like.
I've just over 1,100 - jeepers, this is going to be a shocking grind today. Made pizza dough and I'm not sure if it's going to be nice or nasty. It's in the rising stage now, the proof will be in the eating I guess

Happierwithouthim · 24/01/2021 13:49

Had half of this cheesesy goodness plus takeaway pizza last night

It'll show on scales tomorrow no doubt

Oh mother of divine, that looks incredible happier, was it as nice as it looked in the picture? I had a slightly healthier lunch but have had wine, oh well.
