I think I have fat under my fat these days. Literally dragged my arse out to the treadmill but then realised my back felt very unstable/delicate. Unboxed my support belt, thankfully it closed. Got 11,500 done in around 80 minutes so that's perfect, I'll get the other 3,500 over the rest of the day.
Great that you're seeing the scale coming down happier, sounds like you're cooking up a storm. Teen wants to cook dinner, so I'm doing instructing, nice to see her interested

I got dd a cookbook for Christmas as she displayed an interest in past few months. Nothing cooked yet but it's only been a couple of weeks!

I'm getting out walking with dog this evening, no walk yesterday.

Mrsmadevans · 05/01/2021 15:50

You are all doing so well l don't think you realise how well l can see it though 🤗
Welcome to our lovely thread Dev 🤗

lifelongfrugaleer · 05/01/2021 17:15

I haven't had my allowed walk outside today and it's dark and sleeting now so. Won't. Only on 6790 steps thought. Bah

lifelongfrugaleer · 05/01/2021 19:36

116 left but will save them when I'm hungry is tomorrow

Gensola · 05/01/2021 21:00

I have had a Ferrero Rocher and a slice of stollen but otherwise food has been okay, 21,450 steps and 30 min spin. I have to go into the office tomorrow until 1pm which will be a novelty!
I’m bringing 2 boiled eggs and some chopped veg with me to eat for a late breakfast. Lunch will be random leftovers revamped as “tapas” Grin

ememem84 · 05/01/2021 22:09

Oh the bloat!!! It’s still there. Waaaaaaaa

I’ve moaned to dh. And he suggested I shhhh and eat my bean chili. I’ve warned him of the after effects. 😀

Gensola · 05/01/2021 22:49

em have you any peppermint capsules or edible peppermint oil? Peppermint oil in hot water is extremely effective at ending the bloat in my experience Grin you can get it in Holland and Barrett

lifelongfrugaleer · 06/01/2021 06:44

Up today but I had ham for tea

ememem84 · 06/01/2021 06:53

No but I do have peppermint tea. I had a green tea last night before bed as I find peppermint keeps me up.

Starting the morning with a hot water.

Not2bObvious · 06/01/2021 08:59

Down a bit, no chickens being counted here though! Got 5,000 before work, ouf, 10,000 to go. It's going to be jogging on the spot on/off to get them - long day ahead

OP posts:
ememem84 · 06/01/2021 09:20

4423 before work. Went out for a quick run around the block.

78.1 today. Up. But bloating. On the peppermint tea for now.

Gensola · 06/01/2021 14:09

Currently marching on the spot while on a zoom call. It’s a meeting with 60 people so cameras are off. It’s also freezing as heating apparently spreads Covid 🥶🥶

ememem84 · 06/01/2021 14:53

9465 steps. took DH for a walk at lunchtime. hoorah.

i'm getting up every now and then and wandering about the house.

Not2bObvious · 06/01/2021 16:11

Nearly 14,000 - got a walk in when I finished work at 3, nice to get some air too. Bits & pizza dinner, absolutely starving! Need to hang on for a bit though

lifelongfrugaleer · 06/01/2021 18:48

9994 and CBA as v stressed here.
1600 ish calories and a smidge off protein and fibres. 4&1 respectively

ememem84 · 06/01/2021 19:08
  1. Picked kids up from nursery. And have now had a wine. Ah well.
Gensola · 06/01/2021 19:28

20,920 steps after getting lost on what was meant to be a short walk with DH. Only just getting warm again now after a hot bath and sitting in front of the fire!
Food today hasn’t been great :/ need to pack in the carbs

Not2bObvious · 06/01/2021 19:43

Nowt wrong with carbs, you'd need them for energy after such a huge walk.
I had wine last night em, the COVID mutterings here got to me and sad to say wine felt necessary. Hope you enjoyed it.
Sticking to 1600 when stressed is a triumph life - hope you're okThanks
Nearly 16,500 as had to go out again to shop. Blooming freezing out. I've left around 50 cals behind for the last 3 days, ever hopeful I can actually stick to my calories for a week. I'd love that

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 06/01/2021 20:33

Hit a wall not with just everything really. I will get through

lifelongfrugaleer · 06/01/2021 21:02

69 over as had toast as hungry. Listening to my body rather than trying to power through atm

Gensola · 06/01/2021 21:28

life sorry to hear you’re struggling. Hope you feel better soon. I’m in denial I think and focusing obsessively on my mini controllable goals instead of thinking about the terrible things going on outside.

Not2bObvious · 06/01/2021 21:46

Whatever gets you through is good in my book (well there may be limits, keeping it legal is the boundary)
It's rough right now for sure m
