I don't feel too hard done by now, I love lindor too mrs, got a box from the kids at Christmas and treated them to a lindor selection box, they were thrilled.
Off the wine til next weekend now, the party is over! Having a takeaway today but won't go mad. Still no morning weigh in, I'm reckoning 167 at least. I need 6 days of no booze, a calorie deficit and 12.000-15,000 before I'll be ready for the sad step

I'm not keen on hotel chocolate. Sometimes get the DC a treat bar if I'm traveling from kings Cross but that's it. I much prefer also choc. Even m&s have messed with the giant button recipe and they are horrible now

Gensola · 03/01/2021 09:07

Weighed myself and the scales battery died but I got a glimpse before they did Shock 67.7kg so have put on 2.5kg since summer. If ever there was a kick up the arse that’s it (I’m only 5”2). I think my body has settled at 67kg as I was that weight during lockdown too, then got down to about 61kg for my wedding and slowly climbed the scales again once my brother died and I stopped eating properly or caring.
My GW is 59kg. Feels so far away!!

ememem84 · 03/01/2021 09:17

Achievable though gen

I’m 77.3kg. But am 5’10. Before pregnancy with ds I was 64/65kg. I’d like to get back there eventually but am aiming for a consistent under 75kg in the next 3 months and will take it from there.

Feeling bloated as hell today though. Change in diet has sent my body haywire. We had a delish cauliflower korma last night. I hate cauliflower usually. But it was so good.

My issue is sugar and snacks. Must limit and choose healthier snacks.

Gensola · 03/01/2021 09:31

@ememem84 ooh cauliflower korma sounds beautiful!
I used to always be 52kg but I don’t think that’s achievable now, and I’d be happy with 58-59kg. The 52kg was before gym and when I literally lacked any muscle whatsoever and I have now built some decent muscle and covered it in fat
I also have lipoedema which means I carry excess weight on my legs which I can’t shift by diet and exercise, I’m lucky as mine is mild but it does mean some of my current lard is stuck unless I have liposuction which I do want to do as soon as I’ve either had a baby or given up on IVF.

lifelongfrugaleer · 03/01/2021 09:42

That's doable gen. But remember weight is only one indicator especially if you weight training. Get the tape measure out (which I need to do but not yet)

Happierwithouthim · 03/01/2021 12:20

Thanks gensola not a stranger to calorie counting at all.
Feeling like a heffalump when I read about the weights here. I'm also 5'2" no one believes I'm the weight I am, and I don't look it, must have those heavy bones Grin when I'm at 133lbs my Bmi is 24.9 and I still have chunky thighs but rest of me is gaunt Hmm

lifelongfrugaleer · 03/01/2021 12:50

You don't like the weight you are happier you carry it well. That said, come on back to it and we will get those lbs off Grin

Not2bObvious · 03/01/2021 13:14

You're not a heffalump by any stretch of the imagination happier.
Post Christmas/New Years weigh ins aren't really a true picture, they're fuzzy with salt/sugar bloat. One decent day at a time and you'll see the number come down. It would be brilliant if we could give the scales the attention it deserved, that is very little attention. Weigh, record, move on. Pick an item of clothing you know fits well when you're less fluffy. I'm going to dig out my no stretch straight cut jeans, I can only sit down in them at 156'ish, so 10'ish pounds away. Maybe by Valentines Day...2022 at the rate I lose🤣

9053 steps so far. Took ds for a bike ride round local sports track and the. While dh drove the kids home I walked. It’s a 10/15 minute drive but maybe a 45 minute walk on top of our walk round the track.

Per the stats on my watch I’ve walked 58km in the last week. Which is quite a lot!!!!

I took a pic of myself in undies on jan 1. And will do the same feb 1. See the difference.

Gensola · 03/01/2021 15:51

@ememem84 I took a pic of myself in my underwear at this same weight back in May. It motivated me to lose 6kg for wedding as I really don’t carry this weight well!! I live in fear of anyone else seeing the pics Grin
14,774 steps after a walk around park with a friend who is struggling, she lives alone and her family are all in America so she had Christmas and NY alone. Now need to do some work admin. DH made me a huge chocolate brownie and caramel sauce and brought it to me and I ate it even though I didn’t want it Sad I then sat him down and said please please stop doing this, and asked for him not to offer me any sugary/junk food or drink until further notice. He has agreed but it seems he can’t help it!

lifelongfrugaleer · 03/01/2021 15:59

That brownie sound lovely though.
11444 steps. Would be more but doesn't register trolley pushing round 3 shops.

lifelongfrugaleer · 03/01/2021 17:35

56 calories left which will be used for my evening brew. Calories used on buffet tea using up freezer goodies

lifelongfrugaleer · 03/01/2021 19:05

I've signed up to try noom £1 for 2 weeks

ememem84 · 03/01/2021 20:11

Omg that brownie though.

Day three of vegan. I am so bloated and windy it is unbelievable. The cauliflower curry is taking its toll!

I’m in the bath and am having a green tea. #virtuous #mybodyisatemple #greenteawhodis

11784 as of right now.

Tomorrow will be hard as am working from Dparents (Dm is a snack bringer) and won’t get many steps in. But will make up for it the rest of the week.

If I can just beat the bloat. I’ll be happy.

Not2bObvious · 03/01/2021 21:33

Probably more like a jacuzzi than a bath em 😉
Lay on/in bed most of the day binge watching mad docudrama's. Squeezed out 11,000 steps on the spot, have only left the house for 15 minutes since Thursday. Not back to work until Wednesday, I could go back tomorrow but feck that, no holidays most of last year - I'm taking my break. Nothing to do, nowhere to go but I'll enjoy it nonetheless. #whosdefathermit

Ending the day on 15,794 steps. Managed 30 mins on the peloton but the class was impossible so ended up just turning the resistance high and sweating it out while listening to an audio book.
Going to bed now for an early night.

Gensola · 03/01/2021 21:56

@ememem84 I’m on a diet much higher in vegetables and legumes than normal and I have definitely been turning the bath into a jacuzzi. DH has been sitting with his nose inside his jumper most of the night Grin

ememem84 · 03/01/2021 22:07

Yep. Windy pops here. I was blaming it on Dd. She’s such a windy baby usually. 😂

Not2bObvious · 03/01/2021 22:23

You'll have to do a review of noom for us life, you've nothing to lose at that price.
I was cleaning up my watched threads and just spent the last 40 mins reading our thread from last Jan, ahh man - mad looking back!

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 04/01/2021 06:45

Will do not. So far so good.
Ah those heady non pandemic days.

Not2bObvious · 04/01/2021 08:09

Yeah, I even had a few days abroad as it was just starting, seems like a million years ago. It's unimaginable now! We were all meant to be going away for Easter, HA! Innocent babes we were.
Ok, good start to the day. Decent high protein breakfast, lunch makings prepped, dinner prepped. Just over 2,000 earned while doing those bits. Hoping to go for an outdoor walk, so far it doesn't look icy but I have my backup treadmill. 166.6 this morning, noted in happy scale. On my second last day of break and I intend to enjoy it

Afternoon everyone Smile
I am such a heffalump compared to you all Grin
Not back to it yet , still scoffing but it's gradually going Smile

ememem84 · 04/01/2021 13:52

1507 steps today so far.

i'm at parents, working from home while they look after the kids as are the norms on monday.

because of the time we had to get here, i didnt get a walk/run in today, but will go tomorrow. food has also been atrocious.

crumpets, christmas cake for elevenses with coffee, then slices of pizza and salad for lunch, and a yoghurt. lots of tea and coffee.

dm is a feeder. she needs to make sure we've all eaten and if we say no she's offended.
