Tried to go for a late walk but it was too icy and I didn't fancy a broken bone or sprain. So treadmill it was. Scrapped another few thousand to hit 10,000 - decent for a write off day. Hope it's enough to get me asleep after a day of lazing around dozing. Something light for tea I think, I am peckish

12,997.

lifelongfrugaleer · 01/01/2021 20:51

4700 recorded so steps would not have been too bad today

lifelongfrugaleer · 02/01/2021 08:07

Ok peak fatness achieved for now. Back on it today.

Not2bObvious · 02/01/2021 08:27

Feeling more human this morning. Decided to change breakfast to porridge with a little dark chocolate & a spoon of peanut butter, that'll teach me to watch the 'what I eat in a day' celeb videos. At least I wasn't tempted to try celery juice despite the reports of the clear out it triggers 🤢Spectacularly underwhelming and I already feel a tad hungry. I might have egg on brown toast for elevenses. Hoping it brightens up and thaws out soon, I think I'd like some outdoor steps today

lifelongfrugaleer · 02/01/2021 10:28

Porridge doesn't fill me at all not. It's nice but I get hungry quickly

ememem84 · 02/01/2021 10:52

Pancakes with raspberries and peaches here. And a big one for me. No syrup. None. Usually I’d slather pancakes in either maple or golden.

Gensola · 02/01/2021 11:38

Two boiled eggs, pea purée (left over from DH’s NYE feast!) and wilted spinach here. Lunch will be left over sausage and bean cassoulet and supper risotto made from the creamy leeks left over from NYE.

Day tracked and on 1400 so far including tonight. 9200 steps so far and going sledding this afternoon

Not2bObvious · 02/01/2021 13:14

No, porridge doesn't fill me either and I don't like it that much - I just need to bloody remember that for the future, what possess me sometimes I do not know.
Got through the morning on a coffee, had a vegetarian sausage sambo on wholegrain for lunch after an hour on the treadmill.
On 11,000, 4,000 to go. Still too slippery to walk outside, so annoying. But most of the decs are down now so feeling better.
Loving the pancakes - well done on em on resisting the syrup. That egg/spinach combo looks super tasty gen, very fast 800 vibes. I have a surf & turf dinner planned later, with loads of oven roasted veg 😋

Not2bObvious · 02/01/2021 13:25

You sound like you're back in the zone life, good for you. Enjoying the sledding!

Ok think it's because everyone raves about porridge and over night oats. Gotta be high protein I'm afraid. Yes im in the zone today
14475 steps

Not2bObvious · 02/01/2021 14:38

They can have my share! Never again.
Great steps there

Porridge doesn’t fill me either! Did a muddy walk with DH so on 13,500 steps which will easily be 15,000 once I’ve been to supermarket. DCat has resolutely refused to eat the new food i got him so giving it all to food bank and getting the old stuff Hmm

lifelongfrugaleer · 02/01/2021 18:11

Over 15k steps. Had a galaxy caramel so. Calories gone for today

ememem84 · 02/01/2021 18:21

Porridge never really fills me up either. I do like it though.

I put chia seeds in mine and pumpkin seeds on top. Usually have frozen berries with it.

Happierwithouthim · 02/01/2021 18:32

I bought a pack of 4 honey and mustard sausages before Christmas had the last one in a sambo this morning, with some relish and a bacon medallion

Lunch was chicken fillet grilled and some micro veggies and micro rice and some of the pasta sauce from ds's meatballs

Have melon and pineapple out for snack and will figure out dinner in a while.

Life dm was definitely the bigger threat, she mixed with many households at Christmas I just stayed home with dc and bf visited me that's all.

Happierwithouthim · 02/01/2021 18:34

Weighing in at 180lbs. My gym wanted me to give 2000 cals a go. I'll do one week before dropping back. Can't even go to pt sessions anyhow!

Mrsmadevans · 02/01/2021 19:54

Evening everyone Smile
Am still eating Christmas crap, lt won't last much longer though thankfully Hmm
Not going to weigh anytime soon though, l will wait till l go back to the Dr for my Bloods in 6 weeks otherwise l know l will have put on a lot and it will really put me off . Hope everyone is ok & well
Life good to see you back in the zone lovely Smile

Not2bObvious · 02/01/2021 20:23

Good to see your gym recommending a decent number happier, best to lose on the highest cals you can. I think I did very well on 2000 on the run up to Christmas, dropped a bit and had no mad binge urges. See how you go

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 02/01/2021 20:25

Most places just say 1200 regardless so mood to see some sensible alpwances.

Gensola · 02/01/2021 20:26

I am going to weigh tomorrow and see what the damage is!
I think my neighbours must be out as their dog has been barking for an hour and a half without stopping. We are terraced so it sounds like he’s in our house, it’s really stressful.
@Happierwithouthim good Iuck with the calorie counting!

life DH just opened a box of hotel chocolat stuff he got for Xmas and some of them forced their way into my mouth Grin

Not2bObvious · 02/01/2021 20:59

I've never had hotel chocolat, is it amazing? Sounding like sad left out child (who has been too mean to buy it when at the shop that sells it in Dublin)

OP posts:
Mrsmadevans · 02/01/2021 22:02

Not l had a box given me for Christmas but l wasn't very impressed tbh . I much prefer Lindt chocolate & for a pound a chocolate which is what they cost , l wasn't impressed Hmm l am glad l had them though because l would never have spent that much on them for myself and at least l know they are not for me Grin

ememem84 · 03/01/2021 07:51

I like the hotel chocolat booooooozy ones. Because they’re so boozy!
