Up last couple of days but feel less bloated so that's good.

Not2bObvious · 06/11/2020 08:31

Sounds like a really good day camden, amazing that you had such a long day and managed to plan/shop. Gaining control is brilliant. Love the planning of calorie counted meals, so positive.
Feck them all mrs, family really suck sometimes. My brother mocks me calorie counting, knows I'm gauging what he's feeding me. I've given up saying anything, not that I ever said a lot. I was 2 stone heavier for years, lost and regained it many times. It's a real effort to keep to around this weight, let alone lose but I'll get there eventually.
Speaking of, the sts has abated (although the scales was bonkers this morning)
Down .8 - it's a start!

In my house there was me and my brother that were the slim ones, then my other brother and sister weren't slim. Now we all struggle, my sister the most. But she is working hard at it.

Not2bObvious · 06/11/2020 14:01

Treated myself to a pitta pizza lunch. Funny the things I never have thinking it's too high calorie. Only 350 and really tasty.
Nearly at 10,000 after an early morning walk and house pottering (basically walking around and around while on the phone😂)
Hey it all counts😉

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 06/11/2020 14:39

I'd a hot chicken wrap from centra and a can of pepsi max.

Haven't had a pitta pizza in a long time!

Got cheese in Dunnes lately some west cork, simply better stuff. It's unreal, the slices are half the slice of normal cheddar but packed with flavour.

Mrsmadevans · 06/11/2020 15:34

Afternoon everyone Smile
Have been busy packing Christmas presents Hmm yes it's that time of year again Grin
As always when l am busy l don't scoff thank the lord !
I needed to get back on it today , so haven['t eaten yet , bacon toms & corn for tea tonight.
Thank you Not Flowers

Happierwithouthim · 06/11/2020 15:46

I batched cooked yesterday.

I've got chicken enchilada mix and a bolognese with steak mince and lentils thrown in.

Not2bObvious · 06/11/2020 16:42

I love love love cheese. Don't bother with light stuff anymore, the difference in calories and taste just aren't worth it. I'm going to buy some nice slices tomorrow, I'll make room in my plan.
Healthy takeaway ordered, Thai stirfry with steamed rice, can not wait. Around an hour to go, not like I'm clock watching eh😬

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 06/11/2020 17:07

Yes I'm gone with that opinion too, less is more! With butter too, I'd prefer a little of the block than a lot of the spread.

Steamed Rice definitely not an option in my part of the country!!

CamdenLurker · 06/11/2020 17:09

Pitta pizzas and hot chicken wraps sound delicious- well jel here! I'm on the tube on my way home and I'm trying to convince myself I'm not 'starving' I'm not even hungry right now but I'm so used to eating as soon as I get home and proclaiming how hungry I am, it's become a habit Confused

Weetabix again for brekkie - 192 cals

I had left over Caesar salad, fruit, lentil chips and a 90 cal lemon mousse for lunch - 618 cals seems like a lot!

Dinner is salmon fillet with rainbow rice, which is basically like cauliflower rice but with broccoli and butternut squash. 434 cals.

Is everyone here weighing daily? This is also a habit of mine that I kind of have to do to keep going, and stick to calorie counting.

Not2bObvious · 06/11/2020 17:22

Your food sounds fab camden
Haha steamed just means boiled truth be told but they've notions in most Thai takeaways as far as I can figure!
Yep, daily weigh ins for me, I'm a slave to the sad step.

OP posts:
Mrsmadevans · 06/11/2020 17:41

ohhh sounds delish Not totally agree re the cheese too and l have noticed the light stuff gets mouldy very quickly! Envy
Food does sound yummy Camden, l am ashamed of my poor fare Grin

CamdenLurker · 06/11/2020 20:03

Also low fat cheese just doesn't melt very well, I guess it's the lack of fat!

Not - I think that if i take my eye off of the ball and stop weighing daily that's when I go off the rails, but if I do weigh daily I become obsessed and feel really bad if I put on 1/4 lb. I dunno 🤷🏻‍♀️ it's so hard all this.

Trying to get ahead and plan food so I know what's happening, I'm ok mom-fri when I'm working as I take food in and don't leave the office to buy anything else, danger zone is weekends and when I have a day off, which I won't be doing until after this lockdown finishes, so I have four weeks to be strict with myself..

Everyone else looking forward to the weekend?

Mrs - did you say you've been wrapping presents?? Very impressive, I actually enjoy wrapping gifts, how old are your DD's? I love picking up little surprises for my two, things they won't expect but will really like.

Happier - I've just added chicken enchiladas to my list of meals, although I think I'll have mine with extra veg and with the wrap ( best bit SadConfused)

Not2bObvious · 06/11/2020 20:15

I know daily weighing can be a total head wreck, I started using happy scale to calculate the average and I'm trying to see each weight as just data points, I say trying...
My meal was really nice and I stuck to 1 alcohol free beer, so I've some room for a treat or two. I need to plan the weekends food, hating the supermarket these days and stupidly not doing proper shops which means more visits, sigh.

Yes Camden packing pressies for my Mum's BFF grandchildren 7 of them , that was 7 off me and 7 off Mum Grin
Then l did my friends 4 DC & my Mum's BFF & her Dh and then l did some of my Dds. Done my Mum's as well . I don't like wrapping though l must be honest Hmm Grin
I still have loads to do too Hmm also l have to do my Mum's as well and it is a thankless job literally. BAH HUMBUG! Grin
My Dds are 25 & 26 but still Mummy's babies lol
I never weigh now which is a good thing because l would be terrible about it Hmm thoses scales are evil l reckon. If l used to have rice l would be at least 3 lbs heavier the day after even if l hadn't gone over on my cals !!
Not well done on sticking to the alcohol free beer !

Not2bObvious · 07/11/2020 07:58

I hate wrapping presents - I've most of my kids stuff now so I should make a start & get it out of the way. I must keep on the lookout for paper, that's probably under non essential though 🤔
Scales up .4 today, possibly the soy sauce on my takeaway & of course the rice. I've lost nothing in 30 days, an overall average gain of .6 - that's what overeating and drinking most weekends does for me. Hoping to fix that this month. I can't bear to drop my calories too much so something has to give. I'm still 6 pounds down from my worst summer weight of 167.8, today I'm 161.8
Just under 6 weeks to Christmas Day, I'd like to give myself the present of 153.8, 8 pounds to go. And as I like a rhyme, Eight would Great, Nine would be Fine, Ten would be Divine, Eleven would be Heaven😉

Often stress played havoc with my Thursday and Friday.
CBA to weight as had pizza last night.

Not2bObvious · 07/11/2020 11:16

Still lying in bed, feel a bit ugg, bit of a headache. Trying to decide how to tackle today, should I go for a walk, pound the treadmill, stay in bed...I'm tempted to have tea & biscuits but I'll just settle for the tea for now I guess.
Anyone having anything nice for dinner? I need inspiration

CamdenLurker · 07/11/2020 13:12

Hey guys!

*not - thanks for the tip re happy scale, I've just got the app and put the details in for the last few days, I like how it breaks it down into 10 mini goals, I think I'll find it useful as I'm a little bit obsessive.

Mrs - as crazy as it sounds I wish I had a whole load of people to choose gifts for, I only have Dh ( who never, ever wants anything) the DC and my mum, she's a tricky one because she puts very little effort into Christmas and Birthdays to the point that she never ever gives Dh even a card, even though he does a lot for her. She's also not particularly grateful for any gifts, so spending time choosing the perfect gift isn't really worth it, if that doesn't sound too bad on my part.

11st 5.75 this morning which is good, I set my target to 10st, but with December looming I'm not sure how long that'll take. I've just take. Delivery of 2 1000 piece jigsaws to try and keep myself busy and keep away from the biscuits. I'm not a pensioner lol but I quite enjoy a puzzle and dd1 will get stuck in too!

Had a cereal bar for breakfast 68 cal
3 chicken drumsticks without the skin 210, lentil waves 98 cal and a banana 90 cal for lunch. Dinner is M&S beef stroganoff 266 cals, the leftover rainbow rice 23 cals and I'll add some extra onions and peppers in too might add a scoop of mashed potatoes for 155 cals.

Had a terrible night because the dog had a really bad reaction to the fireworks that are still going on, he was pacing up and down at 2:30am and he left a present downstairs 💩 Envy, he then kept scratching at the doors all through the night.

Today I'm trying to blitz the housework, when I'm at work nothing gets done, so it's left to me to sort out on the weekend, Dh is in charge of the washing, but that's about it.

Hope everyone else has a good day planned!

Not2bObvious · 07/11/2020 15:53

You don't sound bad at all camden, buy her a charitable donation - I did that for my completely disinterested parent before and the expression of miffed was a change from indifference😬
Did the shopping (draggggg) walk, elderly parent shopping drop off with obligatory cup of tea, home, lunch, treadmill for 40 mins. Going to have a shower, get nicely dressed for dinner, put a bit of slap on. Might as well pretend I'm having a night out but in

Not2bObvious · 07/11/2020 19:51

Feeling better now, thanks v much mrs, apart from teenager driving me bonkers. As a mother of grown up girls, tell me it gets better😩 Hope the pizza is delicious
Had some wine with my dinner but not too much. That's me done for the week on the booze front, big improvement for me.

OP posts:
Mrsmadevans · 07/11/2020 20:23

Well done on the booze front Not glad you are feeling better too Smile
It doesn't get better just different Grin at least in my case it doesn't Grin

Not2bObvious · 08/11/2020 08:08

Scales up again this morning by .8 - this has been a really static week, just hanging on by my fingernails hoping that it'll take a drop soon. Went over by 300 yesterday but on track overall - a bit bunged up though. According to happy scale I'm maintaining, so that's no bad thing, preferable to gaining for sure.
If there's no change next week, I'm going to have to drop my calories 100-150, then wait 1-2 weeks to see how that goes.
Dinner is roast chicken with gratin potatoes and veg, poached egg/bacon/toast for breakfast. That's all that's planned for now.

lifelongfrugaleer · 08/11/2020 08:12

Once again off track. Bah. Start again today ish but defo tomorrow.
For lots of steps but too much sugar.
