You're just on the grass life, get back on the path😉 Very slight adjustment will see you right.
Lovely sunny morning, I should go for a walk, don't know why I'm finding it so hard to get moving. Watching 600lb life, jeez if anything should encourage me, that should!

Good morning!

Accompanied dd1 on her paper round this morning, I usually do on a Sunday anyway, but 6000 steps is an added bonus!

Had a cheese and ham omelette for breakfast 302 cals.

Lunch will be soup which is about 130 cals not sure what else.

Dinner roast chicken, veg, stuffing and gravy 508 cals.

It's quite chilly but sunny here today.

Not - I love 600lb life especially when Dr Now gives it to them straight. Hope you get your walk today.

Life - as long as you don't do what I did and give up for 3 months, that's when the weight starts piling back on!

Mrs - you are so busy I don't know how you fit everything in!

lifelongfrugaleer · 08/11/2020 12:45

Well. I've done 9500 steps and eaten food for but not tracked it. Twill be reet

Not2bObvious · 08/11/2020 15:33

Great way to get steps camden, I dragged my carcass around for about 75 minutes, nearly at my 9,000 step minimum. I decided to have wine with my lunch, not the best use of calories but it is what it is. I won't drink again until next Saturday and I'm not drinking much today.
Steps are excellent life, that's a very positive action, good for you.

I'm registering my weight loss as half lb down as that was five of the weigh ins this week, today was a spike of 3lbs and I'd no alcohol or takeaway last night, wonder if it was the double carbs of actifry chips and corn tortillas in the chicken enchiladas last night?

I'm feeling plump today too, tried a pair of jeans and they didn't fit so maybe I'm bloated.

Mrsmadevans · 08/11/2020 18:42

Evening everyone Smile
Been torturing myself all day with no food to have a 770cal Chicken Tikka meal for one from Tesco tonight , l can't wait Grin
Happier the scales is evil l tell you !
Life great steps count Smile
Camden l know l am busy looking after MumBob and then the Dd2 with her house and looking after Dh with his AF and now Christmas and trying to get some flab off before then but again being busy does keep me off the grub Grin
Not you are so controlled & on point with your food intake and exercise ,it can't be easy all the time so very well done l am in awe of you love Smile

lifelongfrugaleer · 08/11/2020 19:10

Defo bloating happier

Thanks. Shepherd pie for tea and had chocolate brownies to use up with ice cream

Not2bObvious · 08/11/2020 19:43

Aww thank you mrs but I've well and truly lost the plot today, well over maintenance- just finished it off with an Aldi fibre one & scoop of ice creamBlush Tomorrow is another day. I do not know how you manage all day, that is hardcore - I hope your dinner is delicious.
Happier definitely sounds like a bit of bloat, keep going you've been doing great. We'll get there, 100% quicker than if we gave up!

OP posts:
Mrsmadevans · 08/11/2020 19:51

Not l find it easier tbh , all or nothing l think it suits me . Although this morning lfelt really sick and l am putting it down to taking my tablets , Levothyoxine , Vit C & D on an empty stomach apart from tea.
l bet if you count the calories it won't be so bad as you think Smile

CamdenLurker · 08/11/2020 20:41

Today's food intake went to plan, except I ditched the soup at lunch as I had a late breakfast.

I'm so pleased to be part of this group as it's definitely going to help keep me on track, it's like joining a slimming group virtually. Finished on 1225 cals, everyone else had sticky toffee pudding but I just licked the spoon Grin

Happier - there's nothing worse than being 100% all Week only to see the scales move in the wrong direction, so frustrating but usually down to hormones I reckon.

Mrs- how was the chicken tikka? I hope you enjoyed every mouthful.

I've decided that today is the last roast dinner I'll be cooking now until Christmas,

Mrsmadevans · 08/11/2020 20:44

Camden that is great going well done!
Chicken Tikka was delicious thank you , l licked the spoon just like you Grin

lifelongfrugaleer · 09/11/2020 06:51

Least said this morning

Not2bObvious · 09/11/2020 08:21

Sts this morning, which is 1.2 up on Friday. Not a lot in the grand scheme, I could be up as much as 4lbs previous times so it's likely just extra undigested food & some wine bloat. I didn't eat an extra 4,000 calories to allow for a true 1+ gain - I have to sometimes say that out loud so I don't find myself facedown in a bag of maltesers in misplaced frustration😬
Anyway, a new week, time to shine! Aiming for a decent week, plenty of steps/increase water/cut back on the crap

Happierwithouthim · 09/11/2020 08:46

camden thanks for your appreciation of the group, we've a nice supportive group here.

Thanks for all of your support yesterday too guys.

Yesterday we celebrated ds birthday. They had sweets for brekkie. I'd a poached egg on 7 seed bread. Then I'd a small pancake with some brie to keep me going when I went to town with them shopping. Took a can of monster ultra out of press and managed to knock over a half bottle of merlot which promptly smashed on the tiles, well it didn't smash just the base broke off cleanly and leaked it out over the floor. Bonus I suppose I didn't consume the calories and burned some off mopping the floor, which wouldn't have gotten done at all had wine not spilt Grin

Then had burger king with dc, and one piece of cake, lots of seven up free and some jellies at party time, resisted crisps and extra cake etc. Helped that the cake he chose is 15 individually iced portions. Was worried about leftovers but a friend called to collect my dunnes vouchers, sent 3 with her, bf took 3 with him and the few we consumed last night means there's just 4 portions left now.

Denny Meat free sausages on brennans wholegrain bread this morning with reduced sugar and salt ketchup
10am is breakfast with grated apple and almond milk ( the apple is dd's leftovers from lunch during the week, you know an apple with a couple of bites gone out of it.

Lunch chicken meatballs(yellow sticker) with tomato and onion pasta sauce and microwave rice.

No walk yesterday but I wore heels, just wedges for first time in a long time, my muscles are crying Smile
Fitbit showing 52.186 for last week. I'm ok with that, not as good as last weeks 60826 but still ok.

Scales was same as life and same as yesterday.
IT IS BLOAT!!!!! AngryAngryAngry

Happierwithouthim · 09/11/2020 08:47

not great positive post.

CamdenLurker · 09/11/2020 09:35

+1 up for me on the scales today, like you not I definitely didn't eat an extra 4000 cals to deserve it!

Two boiled eggs for breakfast - 140 cals. Also had a cuppa but as I only have one a day I don't usually count that.

I'm at work, with a banana, fat free Greek yogurt, 15g of Lizzies sugar free granola and some chicken breast for lunch. Maybe some lentil chips too - these are my current addiction that I really need to break. 474 cals total.

Annoyed with myself this morning because I carried a heavy Uniqlo return all the way into work (1 hr 40 commute) and j can't even send it from here, it has to be dropped at a parcel shop grrr.

happier - sound like you guys had a lovely day, hope ds enjoyed it.

Happierwithouthim · 09/11/2020 10:05

I'm actually still full from sausage sandwich so going to put porridge on hold. If I'm hungry in the afternoon I'll have it, if not it'll wait until tomorrow.

Not2bObvious · 09/11/2020 11:40

As my mother would have said about the breakage, it broke a bigger cross, no idea what that means! It was a present from the diet gods making room for cake😉 Very good control happier, well done. I love that when I budgeted for a snack and then I don't genuinely need it, makes me think I'm a diet goddess who has no need for calories! It's funny some days if i just ate what I kind of wanted & didn't track calories or be concerned about hitting certain macros, I reckon I'd only eat 1300-1500.

Evening everyone Smile
I have to say you are all doing great in my book , there are ups and downs all the time but on the whole we are doing grand Smile
I would never have kept going if it hadn't been for everyone here so thank you all especially Not Smile
Was more careful this morning re the tablets and didn't feel sick today so that was great. I have been busy again today , car in for tyres and wheel balancing , not eaten yet having beef , cabbage , carrots & pots for tea today . Great news re this vaccine at last a chink of sunlight Smile

Not2bObvious · 09/11/2020 20:39

You're very kind mrs, I love our little corner to chat - especially now with the weird world we're living in. I do love weight-loss chat. As I've said before if I ever do get slim I'll be really stuck for a new hobby!
I got on the treadmill for just under an hour earlier and got up to my 9,000 - just over 10,000 now. I'm wondering if that extra 5,000 steps I'm missing is the reason I'm maintaining at 1800, it's starting to seem likely. It's a tough one, I find that extra 5,000 a grind these days. So do I push myself or stick to 9/10,000 steps & drop to 1600 🤔
Oooh happier, picked up some extra mature cheddar slices in Aldi - not quite on the west cork level I'm sure but coupled with a few grapes & crackers, they made a lovely snack instead of chocolate for a change. Nearly hit my fibre today, go me!

OP posts:
CamdenLurker · 09/11/2020 21:11

Haha not I love the idea of being a diet goddess, I didn't eat my banana today ( it was a bit too green) and felt so virtuous, then I ate 3 Percy pig sweets on the way home and blamed the bananaHmm

1268 cals today, not a terrible day really but now I have a bit of a stomach ache humph.

Only managed 7000 steps today though, need to try and get to 10000 daily really.

Not2bObvious · 09/11/2020 21:31

Aww no camden, hope you're not sickening for something? Maybe your body has become a temple and those nasty Percy pigs (or as I keep calling them Peppa Pigs, too many daughters!) upset you😉

I missed what you said about feeling yuck when taking your meds on an empty stomach mrs, my Dad absolutely has to have a small bowl of porridge before taking his medicine in the morning, otherwise they really upset him. He's not on the same meds as you, although I think he does have Vit D. Anyway long story long, maybe a glass of milk or half a banana before the meds would be good? Sometimes our bodies are telling us something.
Tired now, any thoughts I had of maybe stepping on the spot to get the last few steps are dismissed.

OP posts:
Mrsmadevans · 09/11/2020 22:51

Ahh thank you Not your poor Dad having the same trouble with the tablets on an empty stomach it made me think l have Covid , how mad is that! Hmm l love this little corner too Smile
Camden well done on the calories/steps Smile
I don't like Percy Pigs Blush Grin

lifelongfrugaleer · 10/11/2020 06:39

Percy pigs are evil. I'm not a gelatin fan though.
As I'm officially a fatto again I'm back. Day tracked out with 120 ish left but need protein and fibres still.
I'm getting around 10k steps. 15 just seems unobtainable at the moment unless they are ground out

Not2bObvious · 10/11/2020 07:47

Down .8 - that's back to Saturdays weight, still 1.6 above my latest low (160.2) My body is really playing the long game here. Patience grasshopper.
In other news I had a 1am snackfest, I could not sleep, and I was starving. Nothing too damaging, 4 crisp breads with a scrape of butter, a little cheese - around 200 cals I think but I had 70 left from yesterday so that's ok. I eventually drifted off around 2am. This is v likely going to make a hard day with resisting but resist I must! Well a bit anyway.
