Sts today. Did nearly an hour on the treadmill before getting ready, school run then back for work. Looks like it might be a nice day, might get a quick walk in at lunchtime to get the last few steps.

Happierwithouthim · 04/11/2020 09:15

Sts today for me
27g fibre yesterday
226 cals left
No walk though, poor ddog was disappointed too
4338 steps
2.3litres water.

Happierwithouthim · 04/11/2020 09:19

Great scales results everyone.

Treadmill in the morning is great not I find when you exercise early it sets you up for success for the day as you don't want to undo your hard work.

Mrsmadevans · 04/11/2020 09:20

Beautiful day here sunny and freezing 😍
Was fine yesterday and hopefully today 😃
Have a great day everyone 😀

Not2bObvious · 04/11/2020 13:23

In theory I had a filling lunch but my stomach begs to differ! Just inhaled a fair amount of crisps, there'll have to be an adjustment to the rest of the days food - own worst enemy!

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 04/11/2020 15:27

It's cold not maybe that's why?

Not2bObvious · 04/11/2020 16:31

Or greed😂 Yeah it's chilly and I'm a bit (lot) bored. Just had a cuppa & I'll start dinner shortly. It's frustrating to waste 150 cals on crap crisps though, however I've rejigged my food and I've room for a treat later. Have to have my treat, it's non negotiable

Happierwithouthim · 04/11/2020 16:49

I'm having the options hot choc that I brought for yesterday now.

Have some paperwork to do for my volunteer position after I finish my paid employment so that will stave off the hunger until I get home.

I bought enchiladas meal kit when I did grocery shopping last week, tempted to make them, will see how I go.

I've 616kcals left. Sounds better than I've eaten almost 1000kcals!

lifelongfrugaleer · 04/11/2020 18:58

Snackcident here with chocolate. 800 over

Not2bObvious · 04/11/2020 19:02

The odd snackaccident is allowed life, hope you enjoyed it. I'll probably be over a bit as I've around 80 left and a fair amount of hunger. I had 70 left yesterday so that'll help. Just over 12,000
Good for you volunteering happier

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 04/11/2020 20:38

Around 200 over, I had 3 days on track, I was due a slip. Company over for dinner tomorrow, another challenge. I really hope the extra cals today don't result in a flux tomorrow, I'm kind of close to the edge

Mrsmadevans · 04/11/2020 21:45

Not2bObvious · 05/11/2020 07:16

Fancy cheese & onion, an Irish brand and they were delicious!
Day 3 of the same weight. It could be worse, I could have had a crisp flux. Just keep chugging on, no other choice

not O'Donnells? Keoghs?

It was late when I got home and I wanted to walk ddog also.

I threw chicken fillet and some pieces of cooking chorizo into oven with minced garlic, paprika and some oil. Then mixed with the tbsp of pizza sauce I had left and a third of a tomato, half a microwave pack of pilau rice and stuffed into a taco pocket. It was lush.

Later I had some of the apple and raspberry crumble that I made at the weekend. Possibly over my cals for yesterday but still good for the week so far.

Left my charger at work so must enter dinner into mfp now.

CamdenLurker · 05/11/2020 12:14

Hey guys,

Mind if I join?

During lockdown 1 I lost two stone in two months, calorie counting, I started on 1500 a day, then reduced to 1200, then 1000 and completely cut out carbs, now I know this isn't great, but it seems I'm an all or nothing kind of person.

Anyway at some point during august I just stopped and ate everything I saw, I never got back on the wagon and have now put on about 18 of the pounds I lost.

Here I am 11.5 stone and really miserable, today is the day I make the change. I've set MFP back to 1500, but long term I'm not sure what to do, I'm very short - 5ft 2 and old lol, so I do need to cut right down in order to lose weight.

So far today I've eaten:

2 x weetabix with milk 192 cal
Red grapes 201 cal
Burts lentil waves 92 cal

Lunch will be a Tesco ready made jacket potato with cheese. ( I'm still working in the office) 226 cal

No idea about dinner right now.

I really need to Plan and get organised

Happierwithouthim · 05/11/2020 12:37

camden
you're in good company here, most of us calorie count. wreck does low carb too.

I went back to mfp on Monday after taking a break. My calories are set at 1600, I'll see if I can reduce this next week though to 1500. Taking it in stages.

I'm 12st 6lbs and 5'2.5" so fairly similar height and heavier. I carry most of my weight on my thighs but my middle has gotten a bit thicker this year too. I'll be 38 next year.

I've had a scoop of protein powder with scoop of life powder and water for break-fast. A poached egg on seven seed bread at 10am.

Lunch will be a toasted ham and cheese sandwich with scallions and extra light mayo and will be followed by a low fat yogurt with 2 passionfruit thrown in for fibre.

Dinner is going to be roast chicken dinner.

WELCOME CAMDEN [GRIN]
Was ok this morning until my Mum commented about my weight loss and how she wanted me to carry on with it . Honestly l was so pissed off l could have really had a go at her. Like it is so bloody easy to keep going hell l would love to be able to keep going. There is a lot going on with my family and my weight , it is historically a bad life story tbh. So crisps and cakes down the neck they go and here l am feeling like crap after it . Sorry to regale you all with my tale of woe. Not a good welcome to here really Camden sorry about that Flowers

Mrsmadevans · 05/11/2020 15:13

On another note these Burts lentil waves are they the same as the Aldi /Lidl ones if so they are very nice . Grin

Not2bObvious · 05/11/2020 17:05

Welcome camden
Crikey that was such some weight drop, but dropping the calories so low is really tough to keep up and the urges just take over, you can be powerless over them. Always best to lose weight on the highest amount you can manage, then you've room to comfortably drop. Better to lose slowly and it stay off. On the brilliant side, you're still lighter than you were and you've caught hold of it. Nice to have more people to chat with 😊
Oh mrs I know that parental conversation, I feel your pain - I think I mentioned my dad doing the whole "oh do you still go for walks?" - like I don't walk the legs off myself daily. He sometimes comments that he's glad I'm keeping my weight in check, that's as good as it gets. With 2 sisters at around 7-8 stone soaking wet, my 11-12 stone seems immense to him. Go deaf, that's my advice

OP posts:
Mrsmadevans · 05/11/2020 19:57

Thank you Not l hear you l really do!
As for your slim sisters l had one of each, a slim brother and a slim sister. It sucked my whole life. They think they have the right to comment about my weight freely with no hurt to me. Well it wasn't like that this end l can tell you Sad
Anyway, l have rounded off a terrible day with a takeaway, may as well be done for a sheep as a lamb as they say Grin

lifelongfrugaleer · 05/11/2020 20:15

Average day. Steps wise. Bit off food wise. [Shrug]

Welcome Camden. Those are some great results. You will soon get back on it

lifelongfrugaleer · 05/11/2020 20:16

I'm the slim one in my family except sil. Never comment on their weight. How rude

Not2bObvious · 05/11/2020 21:35

Hope you had a lovely takeaway mrs, enjoy every mouthful. I'm quite proud of myself, have company over for dinner & avoided the wine. Even after crisps (Tayto Bistro happier 😋) with a peanut sprinkle, I've around 170 left. Might have a little chocolate 🤔
Of course if I'd any sense I'd close the kitchen and hope to see a lower weight in the morning but I haven't a pick of sense!

OP posts:
Mrsmadevans · 05/11/2020 21:37

You wouldn't believe the fat shaming they inflicted on me .

CamdenLurker · 05/11/2020 22:47

Thanks for the welcome guys.

I've managed to get through day one, phew.

Left the house just before 7am this morning and didn't get back in until 7:30pm as I went to Aldi straight from work.

Surprisingly I wasn't starving, I wrote a short list of dinners under 500 cals whilst I was at work, so I picked up some ingredients for those.

I am generally a worrier and my weight gain is one of the things that really makes me feel so down, but that just means I turn to food even more. Vicious circle!

Tomorrow I've planned my meals in advance so this should help.
