Stick with that happier. You know the kinds of food you usually eat to hit Marcos so can still weigh without tracking.

Gws and hope dox sees you.
Sts last couple of days

Great walking round school

WreckTangled · 10/09/2020 07:00

0.2 up negligible so I'm not bothered. I still don't know how anyone gets their steps in. Even when I went to longleat I only got 8k.

Not2bObvious · 10/09/2020 07:22

What you're doing sounds like v sensible happier, not sure what the situation is with houses it it sounds like a lot to deal with. Add feeling poorly and fretful kids, that's hard goingThanks
I don't even know what to think, scales showing a 3rd day of 164.4/164.6 - I've had 3 full days being "good", plenty of steps etc. So I try my travel scale, well that's a 'mare, up/down/around. Then I switch to another scales that I had to swap batteries around to use. It's one of these stupid set for different people yokes, by the time I manage to get it to work it spits out 168. I'm gutted. Sorry I know that's dramatic and I know I'll pick myself up after a cuppa but seriously wtaf?

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 10/09/2020 08:56

It means you're adjusting to being back on track, are due a woosh and need to just use one set of scales.

Ah sorry to hear ds isn't settling happier

WreckTangled · 10/09/2020 09:02

That's really frustrating not I agree with life that you're due a whoosh.

I bought a pair of jeans a couple of weeks ago in a size down for some inspiration but they're too big. I can't take them back because I've washed them but I'm really annoyed as they're so comfy and a nice colour. I hate it when shops have stupid sizing. I might try and tumble them but not sure it'll make much difference.

Not2bObvious · 10/09/2020 09:41

Thanks guys, it's just strange behaviour from main sod (for new folk, scale of doom!) I know myself I've been an utter gobshite on the weekends and the 168 may well be closer to the truth than I'd like! Anyway I've no choice but to keep on, cause for sure am not going to lose weight by not tracking/walking

SnugglySnerd · 10/09/2020 18:07

Dh and I both got weighed today for the first time in about 4 weeks and... we have each lost half a stone! Really pleased as that was our target although I think I would like to shed a few more pounds for good measure.

WreckTangled · 10/09/2020 18:10

That's great snuggly!

Mrs I will wash them with the towels then tumble and see if that helps.

Not2bObvious · 10/09/2020 18:12

That's excellent snug, really good drop. You must be seeing the change?
Waiting for company to arrive for dinner, starving!

Nsv my gekko leggings were snug when I got them and are now lose. Same weight though maybe 2 lb different

Thank you! Yes I do feel better for it. Nothing drastic like going down a dress size but my clothes fot better and I feel more energetic. I have been making an effort with exercise which is quite energizing. Dh looks a lot slimmer!

Excellent idea ! Smile I washed my jeans in a 60c and tumbed but they only lasted for a few hours before they stretched. They got elastane in them and it doesn't seem to stay put lol Grin Well done Snuggly & Dh Grin
WreckTangled · 10/09/2020 21:38

I've had an ok day. I'm not bothering with MFP atm I get too obsessed with it. Had cauliflower rice with chicken breast and a tomato at lunch plus some mint yoghurt. Dinner was a pea protein burger and roasted cauliflower then I had a twirl.

lifelongfrugaleer · 11/09/2020 06:42

Well done snuggly

Me neither wreck but only because I'm not making the best choices. Too many carbs yesterday.
Same as happier you know what you need to eat to do it

WreckTangled · 11/09/2020 06:45

1.2lb down.

SnugglySnerd · 11/09/2020 07:17

Well done Wreck!

Not2bObvious · 11/09/2020 07:20

That's a nice start to the day wreck, the pounds are melting off. It's good you're eating comfortably without mfp ruling the roost.
Loose leggings, that's some nsv life. Goes to show scales isn't the only indicator.
Speaking of mfp, I remembered something I forgot to track, d'oh - I was already a bit over. That's annoying. Have company again tonight & pizza planned for dinner. Not a snowballs chance of sticking to 1600-1700, I'll have to accept it'll mean a step back of a couple of days.

wreck where are the jeans from? If it’s next they tend to sag and bag after the a while I find.

IMO Topshop are the best for jeans. ESP skinny ones. Pricey at around £40 but the fit is great.

I feel less of a bloat today. Have been 12 days now no booze. It’s been easier than I thought.and also have been eating better. Falafels and pita with loads of salad and home made wedgies last night. Yummm.

WreckTangled · 11/09/2020 07:29

Em they're from mango. They're those super stretchy ones though.

Not2bObvious · 11/09/2020 12:58

Down to about 1.2 on yesterday and as last Friday wasn't a glitch judging by the subsequent weigh ins, I've lost 1.8 over the week. I proper piled on the poundage on my last break away. Anywhooo still enough of September to make a difference

Happierwithouthim · 12/09/2020 07:33

So in other news I'm on antibiotics since Thursday for a chest infection. Have been in bed every night by 9/9.30 except last night I drove to my parents & talked to them until 1am Shock

I'm hungry now because I'd normally have eaten breakfast by now but if I get up ds will think I'm up for the day GrinHmm
