Scales starting to drop, 1lb less today.

Went for a sea swim yesterday after work, was a little cold but tolerable. Meant a fast dinner afterwards of chips and a burger done in the oven, plus a burger bun, burger sauce made with extra light mayo and sugar free ketchup. Pre swim snack of aldi fruit & nut choc bar, life you're a fan, are these not as good as they used to be?

Breakfast today - two sausages in a slice of ancient grains sourdough

Not2bObvious · 16/09/2020 11:46

I'm having a Linda veg sausage sambo for lunch in wholemeal, with bbq sauce. 350 cals, 22gr protein, just over 12gr fibre and very yum 😋

Happierwithouthim · 16/09/2020 12:23

I'd imagine my sandwich was much more than that, actually haven't bought linda sausages in ages, my freezer is full I must figure out with what!

lifelongfrugaleer · 16/09/2020 13:44

I haven't noticed a change in the milk or almond happier

4 digestive biccies ffs

Happierwithouthim · 16/09/2020 16:15

Hmmm, I'm best off not buying it anyhow aren't i?!!

lifelongfrugaleer · 16/09/2020 18:23

Me too but sometimes I can't resist. It's well worth the huge calories imo

Not2bObvious · 16/09/2020 19:39

That choceur almond one is unreal, but somewhere around 240 per rectangular, and I personally cannot stop at one.
Steps just over 13,500, around 170 cals left - I'll probably use them

I was planning to go out for a walk once the dcs were in bed but I have sat down and now I can't be bothered!

WreckTangled · 16/09/2020 20:00

I've felt a bit off today so had crumpets for dinner. Not low carb or particularly healthy but had salad for lunch and no snacks.

lifelongfrugaleer · 16/09/2020 20:18

Half a bar here not. Unfortunately have to share with dh.
Crap day over by a twix. Too. Many carbs and not quite 9k steps. Hey ho

Mrsmadevans · 16/09/2020 21:14

Evening everyone , been busy today so only just on here, had to help Dd 2 transfer money around to pay deposit for house. Then sort out home ins then ring the solicitors Hmm. Anyway , l have been better re eating today whether that is because l was busy l don't know for sure but l suspect so Hmm
Had a tiger baton when l came home from Mums , l didn't realise they are nearly 600 calories each , l will never be having one again l can tell you. Anyway have rescued the tiger baton by being really careful tonight. Hope everyone has had a nice day Smile

ememem84 · 16/09/2020 21:42

No snacks. I have been so so good. I resisted the pastries for colleagues birthday and also cupcakes from shielding colleague. Sigh.

Walked home from work. 18365 steps. Legs have fallen off. So that’s probably a good 5 stone loss.

lifelongfrugaleer · 17/09/2020 06:31

My eating can be better when busy as j don't do bored snacks. Too busy though and I just hit the stress any biscuits

Not2bObvious · 17/09/2020 07:11

Being busy is my best diet aid, unfortunately I'm terribly lazy so unless I'm busy without choice I'm in trouble.
Not sure what a tiger baton is? Some sort of bread? You can spend your calories whatever way you like (she says cause she inhaled a starbar last night) as long as you're maintaining your deficit.
I'm down 1.2 this morning, 3 good days done - Thursdays can be tricky though, just need to not have any wine. Might go shopping after dinner, that'll help avoid temptation

I'm fine when I'm at work but I've WFH all week and it's not easy.

Not2bObvious · 17/09/2020 07:45

Yeah wfh is hard, no wonder so many have struggled over these last few months. I'm in the office all next week with v limited breaks & no options for food unless I bring it so that's going to help greatly

Morning everyone 😀
Another day, another try at healthy eating. Hope we all have a good day today 🤗

Happierwithouthim · 17/09/2020 08:44

This is my saving grace & we cut out any shared biscuits etc years ago too, the odd icecream in summer from the subcontractors alright.

Today I got fruit scones as it's my only female colleague's birthday

Had mint chocolate protein shake with water and life supplement mixed it, it's strange being kinda not empty in tummy but not having eaten either, plus side is the supplement fungi don't seem to be affecting me at all tmi I get thrush from mushrooms Blush

Scales not dropping much, my health is still not 100% so I can't worry about that right now.

ememem84 · 17/09/2020 08:58

Down to 12.05 stones. So that’s better. 76.3kg.

If I can tip under 12 stone by this time next week I’ll be happier.

lifelongfrugaleer · 17/09/2020 09:13

Health first happier
Yeah 12 is reachable em
Breakfast tracked

Happierwithouthim · 17/09/2020 09:24

For sure life there are so many things going on at the moment, I'm just doing my best with food. I don't buy much junk so I'm safe enough that way.

Definitely in reach em I'm so much shorter than you, you carry it so much better! Hope you take that in the spirit it's intended. I'm also3.5lbs heavier

Not2bObvious · 17/09/2020 18:28

I've been so busy I'm only on just over 1000 even after a nut bar after dinner. Nearly 600 left, I see hot buttery toast in my future 😋

I haven't counted but haven't had a bad day.

Roasted cauliflower soup for lunch

A few slices of cheese

Dinner was two sausages and three rashers of bacon BlushGrin

25g 85% chocolate

Not2bObvious · 17/09/2020 18:48

Yum, I love breakfast for dinner, brinner!
Snacking away here, bits of this & that - must be careful not to overdo it after thinking I was doing great

Mrsmadevans · 17/09/2020 20:19
