Got my 1800 today and 10800 steps.
Gently does it not. No point pushing then having to be out longer.
Sometimes it's worth the blow out happier

Not2bObvious · 19/10/2020 22:29

I ended up watching a walkie talkie & getting pretty gentle steps - hit my 9000 minimum. I was too worried I'd not sleep. Well done life on the steps & cals, sound nicely measured. I hit 1625 which is more than enough for today, managed ok, mainly as I was hiding out in bed all day & at the mercy of others for food.

Have not been too good today , had 4 pieces of buttered toast and some snackajacks , not bad calories but meh in nutrition. I need to sort myself out pronto. Hope you are ok Not you sound like you have done really well given your painful back.Flowers
Well done Life slowly wins the race Smile
Happier it's mostly fluid, you'll see it will be off in a couple of days Smile

lifelongfrugaleer · 20/10/2020 06:41

Bastard sod. Don't like then.
The last 224 calories were chocolate but hey ease back in.
Toying with weights this morning but think will do later instead

Not2bObvious · 20/10/2020 06:52

Back to Fridays weight so that's good to see. Toast is the panacea to all ills mrs, hope you thoroughly enjoyed it. I had 2 slices of buttery white toast to line my stomach ahead of my meds yesterday, medicinal & delicious😉 Tbh I was only meant to have 1 slice but I'm only human

I stayed away from goodies yesterday, and set my sights on a steak dinner. Had a full carrot to myself, full onion, striploin steak, actifry chips and pepper sauce. It was delicious.

I didn't weigh this morning at all.

7418 steps yesterday, a brisk 2km walk in the rain with the dog while carrot was cooking Smile

Not sleeping great, back coughing up again too.

Mrsmadevans · 20/10/2020 09:38

Morning everyone 😀
Have to get my act together. I find IF really suits me but the food l am eating has no nutrition in it whatsoever. I must prep and eat much better. Feed my body good food. I have been coughing too Happier at night .l think it's the fat in the junk food making my reflux play up . Note to self make some damn soup with lots of veg in today!
Hope your neck / back is better Not 💐
Life easy does it 💐

Happierwithouthim · 20/10/2020 11:00

I have one of those nutriquick burrito bowls for lunch today from aldi.

I thought of making soup last night and got lazy but I see soup in my future!!

Not2bObvious · 20/10/2020 11:29

Never tried the burrito one, you must give feedback happier - be gentle on your body, you mightn't be fully over the sickness by the sounds of it.
Much better today, the spasm has gone - I was completely seized up yesterday. I did 45 minutes on the treadmill shoulders back and I feel pretty decent. I still have pain but not in the same realms. Getting some work done too, yesterday was a write off. Not that hungry for a change - made a kind of vegetarian McMuffin this morning that's still keeping me going.

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 20/10/2020 11:39

I should just say walking on the treadmill, I wouldn't be setting any speed records😂

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 20/10/2020 12:10

I have never tried any of those bowls so I'll let you know.

Happierwithouthim · 20/10/2020 13:20

It was ok nothing I couldn't do myself probably better! Plenty of chicken but some of it thigh meat rather than breast meat.

I know what you mean, the taco turkey mince I made last week was just as good as their one - better as I got 3 portions out of my batch. I did get the turkey mince on offer but even full price, it was work the effort. But it's a decent convenience option at least

Not2bObvious · 20/10/2020 20:12

Just over 10,500 steps and just under my 1800 - that'll do. Good day all in all

OP posts:
Mrsmadevans · 20/10/2020 20:52

Glad the pain is much better Not Smile
I am afraid l am not doing too well atm. Everything seems all up in the air , l will persevere though. I ate 2 toffee apples , l couldn't resist them , l always have a toffee apple and l just thought to hell with it Hmm better luck tomorrow Grin

Not2bObvious · 21/10/2020 07:08

You allowed a treat and there was apple involved mrs, so not that bad😉
Don't be too hard on yourself, it doesn't have to be perfect. A nice rule, if you can follow it, is 80% nutrient dense food, and 20% treat. And I'd say to only follow that 80% of the time, have the odd day off. There's a fine line between losing, maintaining and gaining, only a couple of hundred one way or the other. Learning to eat a way you can live with consistently, slowly losing weight and without too much discomfort is key cause normal life is that and an extra 200-500 calories a day.
Waiting to step on sod, ugh

Down 1lb on yesterday and down a 1lb on last Wednesday, within .2 of my lightest this go round. Might see the 150's by the weekend! That would be excellent, of course be better to stay there every once in a while but I'm aiming low😉

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 21/10/2020 08:05

I stepped on it this morning after shower so hair was wet. 12st 5.5lbs so 1.5lbs lighter than Monday's post alcohol weigh in.

mrs it was an apple, calorie wise probably no different to apple and peanut butter which would then be a healthy treat Wink

lifelongfrugaleer · 21/10/2020 09:03

I'm only aiming for 10k steps at the minute.
4lb of bloating off.

Happierwithouthim · 21/10/2020 09:31

Well done on losing all that bloat life

Not2bObvious · 21/10/2020 10:27

That's brilliant life

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 21/10/2020 10:49

Well done happier on the 1.5 off too, another nice chunk gone

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 21/10/2020 10:58

I'm not taking any congratulations on losses because I'm not doing anything to deserve them.

I'm doing short walks with dog and dc before it gets dark, eating normally but healthily and making a good effort with water.

Not2bObvious · 21/10/2020 16:09

Made a great soup today with lentils & bacon (from an RH affiliate recipe) Very pleased with it but a bit surprised lentils aren't that fibre rich - always thought they were.
I think everything you're doing is helping towards seeing the scale go down happier but if you don't feel comfortable being congratulated then you don't - fair enough

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 21/10/2020 16:39

They definitely help things move along more quickly though!

Sweetcorn does too and it's not high in fibre either
