If they do that, I'll be their biggest fan! I have to say, I managed fine all afternoon on a 250gr bowl with a slice of wholemeal bread, scrape of butter - only starting to get hungry now which is excellent for 275 cals

Ooh sounds great not. I need more soup I think

1601 calories today, including choc.

Not2bObvious · 21/10/2020 19:39

The kids are in the room so I can't have my treat😩
Just shy 16,000. Picked up the pinch of nom cookbook in Aldi, looks good. There had been another one but I missed it, boo.

Yes Not l have to find a way of coping with my eating that l can keep up long term.Thank you all for the kind encouragement l am much happier today, l have just had boiled Gammon Ham, green beans , potatoes so my Nutrition is much better today Smile

lifelongfrugaleer · 21/10/2020 19:56

I like the pon books. I have both.

lifelongfrugaleer · 22/10/2020 06:46

Down today.

Not2bObvious · 22/10/2020 07:17

Up today by 1.4, not sure what caused the flux. Pretty disappointed as I'd hoped I'd see a glimmer of 159's. I know it's not linear, I'll calm down in a while but right now I'm vexed (understatement)
Sadly my dose of lentils has had no effect but then neither does sweet corn. I'm immune to prunes too.

They were a really good price too not
I'm in town today so I might see if either of the Aldi stores there have them. I buy recipe books and generally I just throw in stuff and see how it goes or for baking google something. In my new house there will be a place for them and I'll make an effort to use them more.

Have Daly Dish and Trisha's transformation and have made very little from either. Did you see the chicken on a spit Daly Dish had up yesterday looks amazing!!

I'm up what I was down yesterday, yesterday was the day I crave chocolate and am exhausted in my week off pill so I've no guilt.

not that's unreal. I've tuna & sweetcorn for my lunch today. I buy frozen sweetcorn and it defrosts by lunchtime in the drained can of tuna and I add extra light mayo then.

lifelongfrugaleer · 22/10/2020 09:18

I have a shelf of books but don't always used them. Especially my signed ones I just stroke.
Still asking Santa for more. I will need an aga one defo.

Not it will be the lack of poop and water retention

Happierwithouthim · 22/10/2020 11:18

Well that will be a given life

Happierwithouthim · 22/10/2020 12:46

Oh my, now that's a plate of joy right there happier
Just finished my taco thing, really nice. I haven't had tuna in ages, must buy a tin on my next shop. I'd love to see can I get the other book, I bloody knew I'd regret not getting them both. Starting to buy a few bits/bobs for the kids for Christmas, thankfully no more Santa here.
Is your house back on track happier? I really hope so

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 22/10/2020 13:36

Which one did you get? If I see it I'll pick you up a copy.

No news at all here on my house.

lifelongfrugaleer · 22/10/2020 14:38

In happy to look in my aldis? Is it in Aldi online? Which one do you need?

Mmmm tea and toast

Mrsmadevans · 22/10/2020 15:17

Dd 2 has the original PON book from Aldi , not that she has used it mind!
Am having a battle on my hands atm , l just made a rice pudding and a cottage pie and the smells are to die for but l am holding on strong. Slimming word lasagne & veg for me tonight Smile

Not2bObvious · 22/10/2020 16:22

You're very good ladies, I'll get my hands on it from another Aldi - I must make an effort to use it now! I have a large collection of cookbooks that I use one recipe out and then shelve it. Himself had a habit of buying me every book by a chef if I showed an interest as part of my Christmas present- had to ask him to stop that. Have a book on pies, yes pies. Do I eat pies considering I've been on a diet since I was 22? No I do not

Mrsmadevans · 22/10/2020 23:29

lifelongfrugaleer · 23/10/2020 05:58

Down .4 on yesterday. Up on last Friday by a smidge. Had a bit of a blow out last night, which will make the next couple of days catch up days. I managed ok'ish last weekend, so I'll have to do the same again.
You're on a roll life, hope you enjoy the pizza. I had one last night, made it for just under 700 cals, delicious.
Toying with getting a treadmill trot in before starting work around 9.30....

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 23/10/2020 09:33

This will be a bought on but easier to track even though more calories

Not2bObvious · 23/10/2020 10:13

Absolutely, it was a painstaking task to measure mine last night - then the bigger child decided she wanted a slice, ahhhh.
Did the treadmill, got a decent sweat on, 45 mins, 7,000 steps. Delighted with that!
I'm having to get a grip, yes the weights up & down but like only by 1.4-1.6, this is the way it goes before moving into another bracket. Hoping by the end of (this!) lockdown I'll be mid'ish 150's - so just under 6 weeks to go. Challenge accepted

Happierwithouthim · 23/10/2020 11:07
