Oh sweet baby cheeses, don't get me started on the choceur😂 I have indeed and I agree, delicious. The one with the almonds myself & life have a bit of an addiction to, that's proper dangerous at around 240 per chunk. And one chunk just begs you to have another.
My teen came home with cream cakes/Pringles/chocolate orange - not to forget there was already a tub of roses, lindor chocs and various other goodies. I'm going to need a muzzle here!

Omg ! I have not seen the one with almonds in l must get some now!!! 240 cals you say 🙄😋😂

WreckTangled · 11/10/2020 13:42

I'm not weighing today or tomorrow. It'll only make me disappointed Grin I might even leave it until Wednesday.

Mrsmadevans · 11/10/2020 14:52

Wreck very wise, it doesn't mean anything it's all fluid retention in your body from the Indian Smile
Been to Aldi bought the fruit & nut & the almond Choceur , only 1 bar of each , l was so restrained GrinGrin

lifelongfrugaleer · 11/10/2020 16:55

That's a close second though for me..... Mmm chocolate

Wolfcub · 11/10/2020 17:45

15.5k steps 60 flights of stairs worth of elevation.

We still won't mention the food :)

Chinese is definitely bad for bloat, Indian too depending where it's from

The choceur with almonds is lush and I'm not a sweet tooth type

lifelongfrugaleer · 11/10/2020 18:20

Fish and chips is a healthy takes away IMO

Not2bObvious · 11/10/2020 18:32

I'm starting to think I shouldn't weigh again til next Sunday. Gave myself permission to gorge on goodies - the key now is not to let guilt or catastrophic thinking come into play. Just had a day off dieting

When l used to do SW & my fellow slimmers hit a plateau , there was an Urban Myth that they should have a cheat day to kick start their metabolism. I don't know if it worked but it made them feel happier Grin

Not2bObvious · 11/10/2020 20:41

I think cheat day is too tame for what I experienced today😉
At least, and I'm reaching now, there was no alcohol involved! To make matters worse, I had a bit more left over chinese, so second day of salt/chilli bloat on the way.

GrinGrin Did you the world of good l bet , you'll soon get the bloat off after a couple of days, sounds delicious ! Smile
lifelongfrugaleer · 12/10/2020 06:36

My asod have me 5lb up. Bastards.

Not2bObvious · 12/10/2020 07:36

That's a proper asod there, wouldn't pay too much heed to it - that's dodgy battery/scales territory.
I'm up another 1.4, 3.8 up on Friday - two birthdays in 4 days, not too bad I suppose. A few days of normal eating will sort it. Easy on, easy off. The nice thing about the happy scale app I use, unlike the Fitbit weight recording, it does a better job of tracking the average so it still reckons my average weight is 160.3 as that's the average over time. Or something I dunno😂

Hi everyone, I spent Sat/Sun at home, well with 1km of the house so no internet to contact you lovely people.

My average was up 0.5lbs last week.

I made Jools stew yesterday and the dc turned their noses up at it, boxed up a decent 2/3 portions for bf and his dm, and I also made apple cake, and ate too much of it. Last bit in freezer and made a little loaf tin individual portion for bf's dm also.

Scales rewarded me this morning too 175.5 4lbs up on last weeks average so that's been disregarded Grin

Went to my friends for dinner on friday night and had vegan tacos with oven chips and salad and shared a bottle of wine, followed by 3 cans of a 4% pear cider which was quite pleasant. We talked non stop(bar eating) from 8.30pm until 4.50am Grin Much needed and much enjoyed!!

Wreck I remember that feeling of anxiety when I suffered from it years ago, I thought my heart would come up my throat. Hope it eases for you. And you too life selling and buying house, in conjunction with new job and bloody global pandemic is not easy at all.

I thought I wouldn't be visiting the shops until next week but I forgot ds's individual portions of kilmeaden cheese. I've got an jeans to return to penneys too so trip won't be a complete waste. Size 12 from there was always doubtful, they do close but I know the 14 will be more flattering

Not2bObvious · 12/10/2020 17:12

Your evening with your friend sounds like a tonic happier, nothing like a good catch up & putting the world to rights. Scales can f'off with itself!
I've tried to eat more protein today, feel decent enough so far. I have a cream cake left that I think I will have as a treat later on, all other chocolate & crisps have been put away to be meted out over the next couple of weeks. Just over 8,500 steps, not putting on pressure to get 15,000 today, not in the humour

Afternoon everyone Smile
Your weekends sound just lovely Smile
I think the scales are barefaced liars! They need a thrashing Grin
Have been for our Flu jabs Took Mum as well so that is a relief to get them done. She is really at risk.
Have been ok again today , this IF seems to suit me once l can get into the swing of it , takes a while though gotta say. I have the Morrisons Christmas food to order and the Boots Christmas book to look at tonight . Bought a curry from Morrisons for tonight so will have the curry , no rice or bits , just some popadoms at 39 calories each they are good for that, looking forward to it too Grin

Not2bObvious · 12/10/2020 21:25

I think poppadoms are a great side to a curry and 2-3 easily replace rice for half or less calories. Great you got the jabs sorted too.
Ate my full 1800 and only got just over 10,000 steps so I'd say I broke even. That's fine for me at the minute, as long as I'm not gaining I'm going to learn to be happy with that. I know I've a ton of bloat on at the minute but I had lost a fair few pounds (for me that is!) so might just try and maintain that once the bloat goes for this week. It's all an experiment right now, struggling with tough teen is taking a lot out of me, I need to mind my mind

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 13/10/2020 06:29

If you are struggling not then maintain is great.
Sorry to hear of teen difficulties. You know is where we are

Asod more reasonable today but I haven't been tracking at all or making any extra step effort.

I think I'm going to focus on what actually goes in me gob and eating shite has to stop.. As does the wind before someone dies

Not2bObvious · 13/10/2020 09:30

Down 2.2, so just another 1.6 of bloat to go before back to Friday weight. Went for a walk before my shower this morning so at least that's some activity. I'm not even looking at steps, just trying to walk for the sake of getting a bit of fresh air. Aiming not to approaching everything with a view to how it helps weight-loss.
Oh life, the windBlushI'm a disaster!! Add lots of protein and a lump of cream cake, it was spectacular last night😂

OP posts:
Mrsmadevans · 13/10/2020 17:24

Afternoon everyone Smile
I have been busy again today so l am reaping the reward of it by not scoffing! Yay! Keeping to the IF as best l can, made a very low fat chilli for tea in the slow cooker now and a cottage pie for tomorrow. Used
5 % lean beef mince & Fry lite, won't have it with any rice or any carbs. It smells lovely not had one for such a long time Smile
You did well to break even Not as Life says maintain is great Smile
Grin Grin re the wind YES!

Not2bObvious · 13/10/2020 17:37

Chilli for dinner here too! I had Doritos instead of rice, much prefer them. Fighting with myself about whether or not to go for a walk

OP posts:
Mrsmadevans · 13/10/2020 18:31

l have Doritos here l should have thought of them too Not Smile
I did think about Popadoms but decided against it Smile
It has gone really cold here, so l am in my PJ'S on the sofa by the rad Grin

lifelongfrugaleer · 13/10/2020 19:21

I think I need to fodmap and work out what's triggered it. Bran defo

Mrsmadevans · 13/10/2020 20:33

It's onions and legumes for me , l am thinking this is TMI Grin
