I. Having a real bad time with my anxiety so not weighed this morning as hardly slept and did bugger all on track yesterday

WreckTangled · 10/10/2020 08:10

Sorry to hear that life I hope things ease a bit for you soon.

STS today which I'm pleased about after yesterday. We're having an Indian tonight so I'm going to try and not eat much until then, although I doubt I'll make it Grin

Not2bObvious · 10/10/2020 08:10

I hope today is better for you life, anxiety must be horrible to deal with - I really hope today is better for youThanks

Oops sorry for repeating myself.
Sun is shining here, but looks cold. I don't know what to do today - there's not a lot to do in fairness between lockdown and general feeling you shouldn't be mixing anyway. Might drive somewhere for a nicer walk and a coffee.

Thanks. It's a bitch. I don't often have a flare up but yesterday and this morning have been particularly bad. Coming through it now

WreckTangled · 10/10/2020 10:43

Life I've been suffering with the physical signs of anxiety but in my head I'm fine. It's very unnerving, I hate having my heart racing constantly but at least I can reason with myself at the moment, hopefully it won't get any worse.

I'm pleased you're feeling a bit better

lifelongfrugaleer · 10/10/2020 10:49

Hope it doesn't for you wreck. I've got both head and physical. Self care today, back to it tomorrow

lifelongfrugaleer · 10/10/2020 10:49

Ironically it's world mental health day today

Not2bObvious · 10/10/2020 11:16

Yeah WMHD, ironic. I'm feeling very tearful & tired after another screaming row with the teenager that saw me in bed at 7pm last night. She's floating around pretending all's great, well it is in her world, and I'm like a dishrag. On the plus side I stuck to my calories, drank no wine and am only up .6 which is decent for a Saturday, especially as food was carb heavy yesterday.

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 10/10/2020 16:29

Ah not. Blooming teenagers. Flowers as no calories in them

Not2bObvious · 10/10/2020 17:14

Thanks life, appreciate the diet safe gift.
Went to a shopping centre to try lift my mood, good number of shops closed, traffic was rubbish. Tried to stop off at one park, overrun with people - nowhere to park. Tried to go to my local park, got rained on. Less than 7,000 steps but not for the want of trying!

Life l feel for you, anxiety really sucks 💐
Wreck have you done any breathing exercises? They are what helped me with my panic attacks , really successful 💐Enjoy your Indian takeaway, hope you can stave off the hunger pangs till then lovely ,
it sounds yummy 😋😋
Not sorry you are upset lovely 💐 great that you didn't cave into the calories 💐
Have kept off the food here thank you God🙏😀 , busy with Dd2 house it is working wonders for me 😂

Wolfcub · 10/10/2020 17:58

19k steps, many uphill. Most I've done for ages. We won't talk about food and drink although it hasn't been horrendous (yet)

WreckTangled · 10/10/2020 19:24

I'm not sure that would help mrs as generally my mind is calm as is my breathing, it's just my heart racing/beating hard.

Not2bObvious · 10/10/2020 19:48

Thanks v much mrs, haven't caved just yet but tbh, I'll definitely be eating closer to maintenance today. Really glad you're doing so well, great to get a decent run at it - it's so encouraging to keep going.
The heart racing is very scary wreck, I've had a bit of that this year with life events being quite stressful. Watch the blood pressure that's my personal concern. I can feel mine rising and the chest sensation can go with it too. Is it any wonder people feel stress & anxiety, it's a tough world these days

Wreck do you feel faint when it happens ? I wonder if it is palpitations from your blood sugar being too low lovely? Flowers
Wolf 19k steps that is absolutely mental well done! As for the food l think you have walked off every calorie & More! Grin

Mrsmadevans · 10/10/2020 19:58

Well done on not caving! Flowers thank you Not l am so pleased , honestly l think it is all to do with helping Dd2 because there is so much to do , it reminds me l am never ever moving again! Grin l nearly caved but l gave myself a strict talking to and stopped mid thinking , have never been so on it in my head, think having support from us all here is really encouraging Smile

WreckTangled · 10/10/2020 20:02

Nope not low blood sugar

Not I've always had such good blood pressure (110/70 usually). If it carries on I'll speak to my GP. Could be thyroid but I get that checked annually anyway. Who knows.

Mrsmadevans · 10/10/2020 20:29

That is great it isn't your Blood sugar Wreck at least you don't have ot worry it is that. I know some ppl get increased HR when they have eaten. l copied the following .......
'Eating does cause changes in blood flow, which can result in an increased heart rate. Eating can also cause an increase in blood pressure. If you overeat, you force your heart to work harder than normal. You need more blood going to your digestive system, which causes your heart rate to go up'
My BP must be raised all the time in that case Grin

lifelongfrugaleer · 11/10/2020 07:59

Feeling better today
Hope others are too

Going to get back on the fitness wagon this morning.

Great steps wolf.
I get palpitations from too much chocolate now. Still eat it thought Grin

Not2bObvious · 11/10/2020 08:26

Glad you're feeling better life
Snaffled some of the kids chinese last night & was rewarded with a 1.8 bloat on the scales, literary a few chips/spoon of curry sauce and 2 slices of salt/chilli chicken. I'd probably be a stone up if I'd had my own actual portion! My average is still ok though as I've had a good week.
Having a takeaway today as my treat meal for the week, hopefully it's worth it.
