Loose 2 stone by christmas-Week 1

Hello there!
Im a mum of a little boy who is soon to be 3 and im fed up of being FAT-Ive yoyoed up and down about 2 stone since he was born and now i need to really get this weight licked.
Im planning on doing weight watchers and wondered if there is anyone in the Essex UK area.
Also am planning weekly updates with weigh in and moral boosting.
Sean (ds) has just started nursery 2 mornings a week and the gym (LA Fitness)is right next door (so no excuse) I'm going to go on his school mornings and both weekend days-I also walk the dog for between 30-60 mins each morning but that can be slow going with my little one in tow!
Please join me, im sure that if we all band together and spur each other on we can do this!!!

Ok Nickey I'll join you, not doing ww but Sliming world.

Weight: 11st 3lb
Target: 10st but would accept 10st 6lb as that was my target I achieved at SW. Was that in feb this year

Hi Deegward, youve not got much to loose so should be a doddle!
Ive always done SW before and got down to 10st8 just before my firstborn was concieved. But I was veggie then and have recently started to eat fish so dont really know how to put the two together!

You'd think, wouldn't you, but I just can't get below 11st at the moment. Fish could always be a b choice on a green day or tons of it on a red day.

Deegward, never thought of the B choice option.
Will still look into WW tho' as I feel I need a whole new approach to this or im just going to fail again-you can order the ww pack and do it at home which i think appeals to me as well, that and the fact that my brother and sister in Law did ww and lost loads!
They just stayed for the weekend and are so skinny made me totally ashamed of myself.

Sobernow, great stuff-wow all that walking!
I Walk the dog each day but still am not loosing so i figure i really need to do lots more, about 40 mins a day at the gym I spose. I always give up tho' with the gym bit-cant stand all that getting changed, gym, get changed,, shower, get changed malarky!

Well so far so good-Im now a member of the gym and plan to go on Wednesday while Sean is at school.
Got on the scales this morning and have lost 2lbs-I know you mustne weigh yourself everyday but when im on a diet im a woman obsesed!

I also bought some wraps the other day as a healthy option toi bread-Im off to make myself a lowfat tuna salad wrap now.

Right, ordered the WW at home pack-should be here within 7 days, can i be good for that long without guidence!!!
The pack sounds good-its the countdown to christmas one and includeds a recipe book too.

Still being v good-made a cheese pasta tuna thing last night for my men-with half a pot of double cream in it and I was v good and didnt eat any of it! (well ok a little taste, but only a tiny tiny bit)

So hope all is well with my fellow dieters, with any luck my ww pack will be here soon

Hello everyone! Am I too late to join? I am ashamed to say I am 14 stone and only 5ft 4! used to be 10 stone. Desperately don't want to be this big. I am due to commence a weight management programme at the gym tomorrow night (heaven help me). I did intend to do lighterlife but I just can't get to the meetings. So wish me luck.

Target (by christmas): 12 stone!!!! look to the stars and aim high!

I'm with you onemoreday!!!
I don't know my height by ft,but I'm 1 metre and 70 cm tall and 14 st.
I would love to start gym,but I hate going on my own.
Pluss LL has been difficult to get in.they wont start before xtmas.Just don't know what to do anymore!!!

Just back from the gym, worse than I feared 14 St 6lb. Very ashamed. Have been good today though, no treats or wine. Positive thoughts to all. Come on JTR get up and get moving find an alternative until you can do lighterlife.

Hello,
I am quiet disappointed with the ideia of waiting so long to get started with the LL,so I decided to start the new way to loose weight.
I am sure it is a very hard way,but I can also garantee it will make loose at least 2st before xmas.
I have already lost 2kg within one week!
Lighterlife has been a dream that I'm still wanna get there,but if there is no chance to start it now,so I'll go for:"JTR HARD WORK!"
So what do you guys think?

Hello everyone! Great to see so many folks have signed up so to speak.

I went to the gym yesterday for the first time in an age and did 30 mins of cardio-I hope to up that to 40 mins next week and then up 10 mins each week until i can do 60.
Sean is booked into the creche in the morning so i can go and do another session!
Oohh my ww pack arrived today and im dead impressed if a little daunted. Ive had a tuna salad wrap for lunch (4 points) and am having haddock ond veg for tea.
Weigh in on Sunday (have decided against weighing every day as the last 2 i have gained a pound :O( still im due to ovulate soon so it could just be water)

Hello guys!!!Here I am!
Just got home form work and couldn't wait to see what you guys talking over there,I mean nothing else apart from LOOSE WEIGHT.
Don't get me wrong,I am excited too!
And guess what?Just weighted myself and 1 more kg is gonne!!!
YESSSSS!!!
I think my plan is working!It means,I lost half stone just in 10 days.
Now I'm gonna tell you about my story and how I'm loosing weight:
I met my husband 3 years ago,and used to be size 10(68kg).As I said on another message he is asian,so I had to start eating and learn how to cook curries.Nine months later my size were 12,I've gonne to 74kg and then got pregnant,so that was a miracle becose few doctors told me that was very hard for me to get pregnant because of my pollysistic ovaries.But at the same time was a "disaster" for my body.Just got bigger and bigger day by day.
When she was born(16 months ago),my weight was 97kg then I lost 7kg like every woman looses after giving birth.I didn't breastfeed,and couldn't but tried every way to loose weight since then.I always wanted to feel confident wearing a nice dress or a tight trousers like I used to when single,but my husband was always telling me to try to loose weight,so I'd look better.
One day he came from a meeting with his boss and impressed with her weight loss told me that she was doing the LL,well he asked how did she do it so he would tell me to do.Then I tried to get with the LL,but my nearest conciller wont start 'till new year.That made me very upset,I would love to start with the LL very soon,then waiting 2 or 3 months,to me is like a century!
Then I decided to do "JTR HARD WORK".That means my way to loose weight.
I get up in the morning and drink a big glass of warm water,then half an hour later a cup of coffee(black as I like with sweeteners)and light a nice cigarret"I LOVE SMOKING",2 hours later a big glass of lemon juice(I MAKE) and keep drinking apple juice later on when ever go for a cigarret.Food: I only have one meal a day when ever feel hungry I get a bowl and eat some vegetables,white rice,fish or chicken breasts and a plate of salad with plenty of cucumber,onions and tomatoes a little of salt and vinegar.BUT NEVER DRINK ANYTHING AFTER MEAL!
Live at least one hour,then have a big glass of lemon juice again(the way I make it).And always before go to sleep another glass of water.WATER IS ALWAYS GOOD,DRINK AS MUCH AS YOU CAN.
That is how I have donne for ten days and lost half stone already.
Hope it keeps working,so by xmas I'll be a lot happy than last year!
But I didn't give up with the LL!As soon as they call me booking an appointment I'll go and start it.
I really need to loose minimun 12kg to proced with the breast reduction surgery,and the doctors told me that I can't do it before loosing weight.
Anyway,sorry for the long txt and hope you all keep loosing as I will.

Ok so Tonight was a bit tricky-We had some friends over for dinner and although i'd been dead good all day (only had aabout 5 points) i think dinner may have toppled me over my limit-well ok not dinner, desert.
I made a choccie torte thing, basically a bar of dark choc melted, half a pot of double cream mixed in and poured onto a digestive biscuit base, oh yeah about 3 caps of conteiou (sp) so not exactly slimming-i did only have a tiny slice but still.
Oh well i did go to the gym this morning and walked the dog too.
Anyway folks thats me off to bed-weigh day tomorrow.
