cake has been put in the cupboard and remains untouched i am very hungry now. just wondering what to do for lunch!! whats everyone else having?

ShinyHappyPeopleHoldingHands · 01/10/2007 12:12

Am doing FLYlady as well now.. which is very big on good nutrition (not just house de-cluttering) so hopefully that will help.

Unfortunately I didn't have time for breakfast at breakfast time (bad I know.. but trust me.. this morning was a dire morning! ) but have recently had a 'brunch' of scrambled eggs on wholemeal - mearest scraping of margarine - and cooked sliced tomatoes.

Have had 2 cups of coffee but also 2 pints of water. (FLYlady also very big on reminding you to drink water so that helps too...)

Good luck everyone. xx

Afternoon guys! Are we doing well?

I started off with bowl of cereals and semi skimmed milk, and a glass of tropical juice.

Went to Waitrose (next to the dentist, poor me, needed to redo a filling) bought fresh vegetable soups, and lots of salads, will have Tuna Nicoise for lunch when I can eate again! This better work, I shall look glam fab for Christmas. We all shall!

look at me, so positive I have to repeat myself.

ShinyHappyPeopleHoldingHands · 01/10/2007 12:31

Starry you sound all positive and bouncy.. good on you

DH will know some soup recipes Katy.. he cooks.. I don't. I just remember from Slimming World how "bad" (for calories/sins etc) pre pre-packed soups can be - even fresh ones. And you feel like you're being "good" as well.. so I never found them worthwhile.

DS is not well today.. his back has gone..(well it's still there but you know! ) so he's had nothing yet but 1 cup of coffee this morning, on first day of the plan. Will encourage him to have something healthy later.

katybump · 01/10/2007 12:36

oh poor mr.shiny hopes he's better soon
at least your there to make him some healthy grub when he feels upto it
haven't had the soup yet,i opened it and it looks like sick (sorry if tmi) am thinking more along the lines of a jacket potato and beans now and letting dh have the soup

Am I too late to join ? Weighed myself this morning and I am 11st7.5 and am 5 ft 5.5 so I am way too heavy.

I am off the pill planning to get pregnant but just finished period so I though well even if I do it for a few weeks and lose a bit of weight then at least I won't start off so big for the pregnancy.

I'm off to investigate Rosemary Conley was going to join WW on line but I only have £35.00 in my account so can't afford it.

Have been good today, bran flakes for breakfast, refused cup cake at Mother and toddlers and currently eating couscous, pepper and hummus salad for lunch.

StarryStarryNight · 01/10/2007 12:38

oh poor your dh Shiny!

I did not weigh in this morning, will weigh myself tomorrow.

katybump · 01/10/2007 12:38

starrystarrynight you will be glam at christmas ,the first day is the worst but once that switch goes on in your mind, with loads of encouragement and positive thinking you can do it
hope your mouth feels better soon
