laloupgarou · 11/10/2007 10:35

Ha ha, can't believe I missed the norks swinging session...will my next week's weight loss be delayed now?

Well done, Markstretch! 4lbs is fantastic [pompom emoticon]

Welcome to buktus

Hi to everyone else, you're all doing brilliantly. Speak to y'all later. Have a nice day, katybumpers!!!! And today's highly philosophical and inspirational quote is ...remember girls..."fridge pickers wear bigger knickers".

Happy slimming x

laloupgarou · 11/10/2007 10:38

Susiecutie, that is NOT a bad start to the day. Keep at it!! Sorry to hear your back pain is worse today, roll on tomorrow when hubby home again x

spottyshoes · 11/10/2007 11:38

Well done MarkStretch!!!!!!!! Amazing result .

Not a bad start at all SC - I had 2 pieces of white toast dripping in butter before I went to bed last night

I love all the Th-inspirational slogans at the moment!

I may not be losing the lbs but I'm wearing a size 12 skirt today [proud emoticon]

Thats the boost I needed - off to make some very virtous spicy parsnip soup for lunch

Have fun ladies x

spottyshoes · 11/10/2007 11:41

Another fab receipe there SC sounding very yummy!

Can I be a bit thick and ask anyone what veggie boullion is? and where in a supermarket would I find bouquet garni???

susiecutie · 11/10/2007 14:08

vegatable bouillion is a powdered veg stock really, but you can drink it as a drink too... its really really low fat ( if any) really tasty and you can by it organic and vegan if you like
bouquet garni is a small collection of herbs you tie together with string yo can actually buy them too sold in a muslin bag, a bit like a tea bag! its just a fab way to add HEAPS of flavour. it can be missed out though

will look for a link for both...

susiecutie · 11/10/2007 14:14

veg bouillon can be bought in any supermarket!

just to add... the fat contents is listed here, but of course applies to 100g of the powder... thats nearly a whole tub!!! so unles you eat a whole tub in one go, it is v low fat!!

here is a bouquet garni

spottyshoes · 11/10/2007 14:39

Thanks for that

laloupgarou · 11/10/2007 16:03

Hi everyone
I've logged onto MN to try to combat the pre-dinner nibbles, that danger zone between the school run and evening meal. Have just put a plate of toasted scotch pancakes with butter out on the table for the dc's after-school snack and I had to get out of the way in case my willpower crumbled, eek!

Think thin, think thin, think thin, think thin.......

mylittlefreya · 11/10/2007 16:27

I don't think it's a bad start either. I hope not anyway or else I should be kicked out of here!

We had omelette for lunch - not usually big on carb-free meals but it is a good way of getting filled up with lots of nutrients without too many calories. Made it with tomatoes and shared it with the baby girl. And the cat. Sigh.

Have drunk loads and loads of water today, halved my diet coke consumption. Also feeling nibbly, thinking thin!

katybumpinthenight · 11/10/2007 18:36

Today's not very exciting menu chez lalou was as follows:

breakfast - bread roll and half-fat butter, satsuma

lunch - wholemeal pitta with tomato, onion, 1tbsp grated cheese and light salad cream

dinner - haven't had any yet, dh not long home from work. Might have to get chinese takeaway as can't be bothered to cook but will be healthy choice (I promise).
