ANYONE WANT TO JOIN ME IN LOSING A STONE IN 6 WEEKS STARTING 1ST OCTOBER?

hiya i really want to lose a stone,i have more than that to lose but figured if i started with that it would be easier.i'm going to do a healthy eating/daily walking type thing and hopefully it will work ! anyone want to join me

Definitely waiting until I am hungry before I eat has definitely helped the snacking, spotty. But I can't polish halo tonight, have just poured a second glass of wine, oopsy...but will be heading to bed straight after to avoid any more temptation.

Btw, if anyone interested, I have found in that taking a Chromium supplement is great for helping to control snackaholic behaviour.

tis good to only eat when hungry... but, make sure you are also eating 3 times a day, if that makes sense! even if only 3 small meals... keeps your metabolism ticking over then

god, i'm boring myself, i'm so sorry everyone!

i've just used Dd's little bowl and spoon for my chicken stew, it was SO lovely.

recipe:
lean chicken breast
small potatos only a few
sweet pots
leaks
tinned toms ( half a tin)
carrots
swede
garlic clove x2
shallots or onion
chicken stock cube
water

chop all up, throw into casserole dish, lid on.stick in oven on low for about 2 hours then lid off ( to thicken stock) for further half hour to 40 mins ( erm, can be done quicker if started on hob) took that long as my oven has a mind of its own.
SOunds a long time but if you stick it in mid arvo, will be lovely for dinner
result: tender chicken stew with SO much flavour.

Another good receipe for next week there SusieC - by this rate our daily lists will be quite boring as everyone will be eating the same things lol

Susiec, chicken stew recipe sounds yummy... will give it a try this week too. Night night, spotty. Polly, have you some hand weights? Maybe some upper body weight-training, or sit-ups/crunches? I could ask for some advice on the exercise buddies thread if that's ok with you?

i got 1 and half of (are we counting the halfs?)
its not so bad though as i normaly get a better result by the second or 3rd week of diets ...strange huh?
i have how ever lost 1 inc of my waste and 1 off my belly so that is good ,

1 lb which is ok for me on my "cut back but don't do anything else too drastic" kind of diet!

Laloup...that's kind of you....i do abdominal excercises to strengthen my core muscles..(and i think they are working as my jeans are looser and i look less pregnant!).what i can't work out is how to do more aerobic stuff while sitting... handweights are a good idea, i might incorporate cans of beans into my hand jiving!

well done for 3 pounds haven't lost anything
well still better than putting some on but did have some chocolate yesterday. So have to try more this week specially with more exercise.It will give me a push seeing how much you all lost.Good luck everyone for week 2.

I do feel a bit different lalou thats why I was gutted on the weigh-in! I didnt measure myself to start with either so cant say for sure however I can now do up one pair of my size 12 jeans without breathing in to the point of passing out!!! So I'm losing it somewhere

I'm sorry I haven't posted for a few days,we've had a really nasty fluey type virus,gone through the house,it's my turn to suffer with it at the moment.
Have been really good,food wise,havent had time to weigh myself and probably won't bother this week although been good with food I haven't been exercising as I haven't left the house since Tuesday of last week!

Will carry on and once I'm better will weigh myself.

Hello everyone.

Now my mother has gone I shall be back on the wagon - the posting and the no wine wagon, that is!

I have lost 2lb. Not too bad all things considered. Steady is the best way for me, else I really will just put it back on.

sorry for everyone whos feeling down, has anyone got SAD'S? dont really know much about it but it is the time of year for it,
some grate weight loss'es and for those who didnt get loss they wanted dont lose heart! i always lose better in 2nd week, i rember the first time i joind slimming world me and my friend we did everything by the bood the next week we went and i had put on !!! 1/2 lbs !!
was very but friend keeped me at it the next week i had lost 7lbs!! yay lol so just keep to it!
im getting new kitten tomoro!!! hes finaly ready i stuck a pic up on my profile anyone wants to see and maybe help me with a name lol
