hope you get your early night laloupgarou and well done on staying on track today

great menu spottyshoes ,i agree about resisting stuff ,feels quite daunting when you admit to others what you have been eating.

mylittlefreya · 02/10/2007 19:46

Scaryscarynight - it could have been much worse! and I hope you enjoyed it.

Katy like the new name! and you have done so well.

I have done bad on the water - and not well on the content, but ok on calories. Does that still count? And I walked for 45 minutes carrying/ wearing my 9 month old.

pollywollydooooooooodle · 02/10/2007 19:48

well have done quite well today
muesli for brekkie
tuna sarnies salad and pear for dinner
veggie hotpot with green beans and squash for tea

only down moment was when i wasn't concentrating (honest!) was sorting something out on the comoputer hubby bought me my nescafe cappuccino and a choccy biscuit and i ate it in an absent minded fashion.....still, not beating self up and going on a sod it jag of eating which is a plus (prob would have without this thread to clock into....)

like the soup idea!

niceglasses · 02/10/2007 19:48

Well done everyone else. This thread is getting mahoosive.

katybumpinthenight · 02/10/2007 19:57

3 chipolata sausages, a tomato and a slice of pitta bread
A banana
A coffee
A plate of spag bol
I have also been for a 25 minute run this afternoon.

I have no idea if this is good or bad

bogmyrtle · 02/10/2007 20:25

Mrs S... compared with my lemon drizzle cake breakfast it's positively saintly

MarkStretch · 02/10/2007 20:26

Sorry- Jamie Oliver is on the TV and he is cooking the most amazing food- I am going to have to leave the room as I am ACTUALLY DROOLING into my laptop....must occupy mind, must occupy mind, don't look at the tv, don't look at the tv

spottyshoes · 02/10/2007 20:27

OMG! M.S Do you eat that much veg usually? If not you'll erm..... know about it tomorrow

Niceglasses: Think of the empty calories!!! 1000 of them per bottle (not that I'm in anyway suggesting you'd drink the whole bottle )

Nice new names P.W.Dooooooodle & Katybumpinthenight lol
Just wondered, are there a few veggies out there? as most people's lists dont contain much meat, if any

MrsSeanSlater · 02/10/2007 20:27

Ah, but you Will Do Better tomorrow tomorrow, won't you Boggy?

spottyshoes · 02/10/2007 20:30

Mrs SS It's very good - particularly impressed with the run (my legs hurt just thinking about running )
Well Done!

dejags · 02/10/2007 20:33

I'd like to join.

I am currently 10.5 stone and would like to lose exactly 1 stone.

Today I ate:

2 weetabix with low fat milk for breakfast
1 slice wholewheat toast with tuna, peppers and a tablespoon of mayo for lunch
1 apple
1/2 banana
Pork fillet with roasted butternut, leek, carrots and potatos for dinner
1 slim slab
1 bottle of cider
2 litres of water
3 cups of coffee with 2 sugars in each (eek)
1 cup of tea with 2 sugars

Crap, when I write it down it seem such a lot. I suppose if I cut out the hot drinks and bottle of cider it wouldn't be too bad.

bogmyrtle · 02/10/2007 20:34

Indeed Mrs S....tomorrow tomorrow is a new day

spottyshoes · 02/10/2007 20:35

It always looks a lot when you write it down, i thought it looked like i'd pigged out yesterday but felt i'd hardly eaten anything lol. Whats a slim slab?

MrsSeanSlater · 02/10/2007 20:39

Just cutting out the 8 sugars a day could make a difference, dejags.

I forgot to mention 3 jellybeans and a couple of spoonfuls of low-fat custard.

pollywollydooooooooodle · 02/10/2007 20:42

katyb.....you have a future as a weightloss cheerleader...you make me smile...Ra!Ra!Ra!

stretch..../how many portions??!!???...get some charcoal tabs down your neck to combat the wind

spottyshoes...was a veggie for about 15 years but have added in fish for health reasons over the last few years.....i never thought i'd say this but i have grown to like it!

boggy...ok perhaps not the best start to the day (at least not diet wise!) but did you enjoy it?

mrs SS...sounds good to me

pollywollydooooooooodle · 02/10/2007 20:45

dear dejags whats a slim slab?

does anyone use artificial sweeteners in cooking (we eat loads of stewed fruit)..are they any good?

MarkStretch · 02/10/2007 20:47

Its too late.............. I already have wind.

katybumpinthenight · 02/10/2007 20:48

MrsSeanSlater · 02/10/2007 20:51

Right, I'm going to lie on the floor right now and do sit-ups. I need to shift this fat belly. I'll let you know how many I do...

MrsSeanSlater · 02/10/2007 20:56

OK, only 25 (and only halfway up). I used to be able to do 50 of these.

pinkrose · 02/10/2007 20:57

Heveryone have been okay today apart from eating one slice of leftover pizza for lunch was starving. That`s the problem when you have kids all the leftover food it just seems shame to throw it away, need to learn to do that.Did lots of walking pushing 2 kids around hopefully will manage to go gym tomorrow or do my exercise dvd.

spottyshoes · 02/10/2007 20:57

Wind??....Oh dear!

well done on the sit ups. I was going to do some (OUTRAAAAAGEOUS LIE!!!!) but I'm going to Yum Mums exercise class and the lady is evil with the slow stomach crunches. So I think I'll save myself till then

KatyB - 'being a pita' ?????????

MrsSeanSlater · 02/10/2007 21:00

Oooh, slow sit-ups . Mine were very fast - it burns less that way.
