Well done Sea, you are doing so well and you sound more happy about everything now.

I've done C25K before and doing it again now. I wasn't a runner either, and I still can't go fast, but I can jog for 25 minutes now. The program is good, it is manageable and goes at a pace that is easy to follow.
My advice would be don't go too fast too soon.

lifelongfrugaleer · 05/07/2020 08:08

Sounds like it's really working for you sea.
Down today but did 18k steps so might be hungry as stuck to 1600. Will try and repeat today

WreckTangled · 05/07/2020 08:35

Pilates done. Going to a friends for lunch today. Will start properly tomorrow...promise Grin

Wolfcub · 05/07/2020 09:48

Pilates done. Going to try and do a few jobs and have a generally chilled day before picking ds up later

Not2bObvious · 05/07/2020 11:47

That’s some serious pound loss sea, well done for sticking to it. My scales is just doing its usual gain after loss pattern. I may just keep at it, try to reduce my calories a bit - I seem to average out at 1900-2100 a week. If I could shift that to 1700-1900 that’d make a big difference I reckon.
It’s the usual Sunday ponderings.

Lunch was broccoli, bacon, mushroom and tomato stir fry with a dry-fried egg. . 380cals.

Dinner was hm meatballs and pepper sauce with courgetti and cheese. I’ve no idea about the cals as I made the meatballs and sauce pre-diet and froze them. The meat was extra lean mince but peppers are high-ish in sugars and I wasn’t especially careful with the cheese Wink. Close enough though. Rubbish steps again, still haven’t found or done any online HIIT. I’m not feel I’ve very energetic today so have been kicking back and relaxing. It’s the fist day in literally months where I haven’t had anything that HAD to be done - it’s been lovely!

WreckTangled · 06/07/2020 06:50

Good morning everyone. Today is a new week and a new day and I'm no longer going to let crap food control me. I am a bit hungover though so will need lots of will power today BlushGrin

lifelongfrugaleer · 06/07/2020 06:56

Down today and I haven't said that on a Monday for a looong time. Gym nutrition group really helping the focus

Not2bObvious · 06/07/2020 07:32

Slightly hungover too, first meal out since February last night. Ugg, not looking forward to the seeing what the SOD has to say this morning, doubt I’ll see anything nice!
That’s great to see a low on a Monday life, is the advice you’re getting from the nutrition group anything interesting? I felt horrible trying to find something to wear going out yesterday, ok I haven’t gained weight over the last 4 months but I haven’t lost enough to make any difference😔

It's pretty much the rh principal tbh. But it's by someone who lives it and she looks awesome.
Lots of what we know but written in a hug like way. And menu plan which is what I need

lifelongfrugaleer · 06/07/2020 09:18

Actually not now I've read the pack properly it's packed full of info. Some I knew, some I'd forgotten, some new.

Not2bObvious · 06/07/2020 09:49

That sounds good life, sometimes a change is the reset we need.
I’ve done just shy of 8,000 with a walkie talkie. Going to focus on protein/fibre and water today.

OP posts:
WreckTangled · 06/07/2020 17:55

Not too bad so far today. On less than 900 and might have some yoghurt and fruit in a bit.

I'm going back to putting down what I've eaten.

Babybel
Low carb protein bar

Pepperami
Two slice of cheese
4squares low carb chocolate.

One pot Moussaka with roasted broccoli

I know it's not great but after such a high sugar and carb weekend I need to ease myself in Grin

lifelongfrugaleer · 06/07/2020 18:40

Dam it. Mistook calories left and had one biscuit too many 43 over

Not2bObvious · 06/07/2020 18:57

Just under 1600, still around 1250 steps to go to hit my 15,000.
Kitchen is closed! Protein about 6gr short & fibre 5gr short. It’ll take a while to get back into the swing of things but I’m happy enough with it.

lifelongfrugaleer · 06/07/2020 20:45

That's a decent day not

19k and a fbw here

ememem84 · 06/07/2020 21:11

Evening!

Today I’m back on the intermittent fasting train. Decided to do it mom-thurs and see how we get on. I don’t want to do it weekends because I don’t want the kids thinking not eating breakfast is a thing. (Especially as we all eat together at weekends - they’re too litttle to explain it to them).

Lunch was a rice salad with red pesto chicken cucumber and edamame beans.

Snack of some popcorn (just plain no sugar no salt!)

Dinner - sausages and fried potatoes and coleslaw (at dms)

Not2bObvious · 06/07/2020 21:16

I’ve recalculated my cals using a different calculation. Reducing to 1668, I mean I can barely stick to 1800 so I should just cut them right 😂 Maybe allowing too much just made me eat more than I needed? Worth a try at least, 1 day under my v tight belt

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 06/07/2020 21:28

I've cut mine to 1600 after calculating my tdee -500. Day3 so far and all good.
Not eating until 11 ish then a snack then dinner really helps.
If I do a morning workout a shake staves off hunger

ememem84 · 07/07/2020 06:39

Been for a run. Now having a tea and some water and a pb & j protein porridge muffin that Dh made.

lifelongfrugaleer · 07/07/2020 06:49

Well done em. Class at 730 for some steps and a walk later.
Got 19k steps in yesterday

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 07/07/2020 07:11

Hi all.
My weight has dropped, I'm now 11s9.5lbs.
I'm happy with that, a 2.5lb loss.
Went for a jog yesterday and got over 20,000 steps.
Will go for a jog again today, but steps won't be as good as yesterday as have lots of work to do.

Not2bObvious · 07/07/2020 08:39

That is fantastic curvy, well done for keeping strong after being a bit disappointed last week - you’ve clearly put great effort in. My scales is still upsetting me, I hope to have something nice to report by Friday though.
Wow on 19,000 steps life, noticed any spike in hunger this morning?
I decided to go back to an old breakfast fav to a Greek yog/raspberry combo with half a nut bar. 19gr of protein, 9.5gr of fibre. Also placed an order for a taster pack of 5 x 210 bags of various flavour protein powder, worth a shot. 9,000 steps done as well plus today’s dinner & another days dinner ready for the freezer. Focus is on satiety and a decent calorie deficit for most of the week.

ChristmasSeacow · 07/07/2020 09:17

Ooh, I like the sound of those em. Any chance of the recipe? They might be good snacks for the kids. No prospect of exercise today. I have so much work to do I’m going to be up late as it is.

lifelongfrugaleer · 07/07/2020 11:02

Yes em pass the recipe on.

Yes not more hungry today. I had a shake and some fruit after cardio, just had a mid morning turkey rasher sandwich. Rest of day planned out
Yoghurt, granola, seeds raspberry lunch
Chicken sausage roast veg for tea.

No more calories left.

This is the test as is its day 4 of 1600 and already 2 lb down on the scales. This is where I usually fall.
