  1. And not even done for the day. I reckon today I could easily get 20000
ememem84 · 01/08/2020 22:47

I finished the day on 18639 steps. I just cod not do any more.

Peanut chicken stir fry for dinner.

Not2bObvious · 02/08/2020 05:36

I’m Not surprised you couldn’t do more em, that’s an exhausting number of steps.
I was out last night, I’ve woken now after around 4 hours and I see a pretty nasty hangover looming. Great😩

lifelongfrugaleer · 02/08/2020 08:09

Shit night sleep in a tent do had a pain au chocolate for breakfast

Not2bObvious · 02/08/2020 09:40

Have you many more nights in the tent life? I haven’t camped since I was a kid. Not feeling too bad after a bit more sleep but that could change at any moment. No plans for the day thankfully. Not planned food either

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 02/08/2020 11:53

It was a one night test out. We need better sleeping stuff rest was fine

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 03/08/2020 01:28

Hi all, fell off the thread as we can't go on holiday to Spain now. Have been having a nightmare trying to get a full refund!
We booked with loveholidays and the flights are with Ryanair.
We have our money back for the accommodation, but not the flights. Loveholidays says Ryanair have to refund it (Ryanair don't do refunds!), and Ryanair are saying it's up to loveholidays to refund us!
It has been pretty stressful and even more so because I can't actually speak to a human being!

Anyway, you have all been chatty!

lane, I use a cup too and find that exercise is less painful now.

not, keep going those 150s will be there soon.

wreck, glad your period showed up.

life, well done on the loss.

My exercise and diet has took a nosedive, but will try again tomorrow (today!).

ememem84 · 03/08/2020 06:37

Back on the intermittent fasting train.

And back in the office today which will help as no snacks.

lifelongfrugaleer · 03/08/2020 07:32

Not as bad as could have been this morning. Marginally up but down on Saturdays weight in. Given I didn't track or plan properly yesterday is great

Not2bObvious · 03/08/2020 07:34

Don’t talk to me about Ryanair & refunds, I’m waiting 5 months for one, 3 months for the other - and that’s even booked direct. I feel your pain curvy, so frustrating & powerless. I wish I had some good advice.
I’ve lost the run of myself over the weekend, I kind of felt it coming. Just mindless eating & drinking. Feeling a bit down this morning, no doubt due in part to the excessive vino. I’ll perk up once I get moving. Dreading the scales, 162.8 yesterday.
Toying with the idea of fasting til lunch, I ate enough yesterday that it might not be too hard, did it Friday as was mad busy & wasn’t too hangry. Just to pull back on my calories

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 03/08/2020 10:07

I was right to dread the scales, up 3lb on yesterday. Unreal. Anywayyyyy back to the start again, must try not to go too far in one direction or the other

OP posts:
CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 03/08/2020 10:08

Not, that is awful! Have they said you will get a refund though?

Put a line under it Not and carry on.

SingToTheSky · 03/08/2020 10:08

2.8lb loss this week yay. I suspect part of that is from the week before though and period masked it. Measurements are the same.

Trying not to think about how far I still have to go 😳

I tried a new weights routine two days ago and still feeling it today. How do you know what is too much and what is just pushing yourself a decent amount Hmm

SingToTheSky · 03/08/2020 10:11

I’m mostly finding the evening bit of the fast easier. Am counting down the minutes in the mornings 😳 which is making it hard to make decent choices for breakfast Hmm

That’s insane about the lack of refunds 😱

I need to be brave and phone the bank today and I don’t want to 😳

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 03/08/2020 10:50

Yay, well done Sing, that is a brilliant loss.
I know what you mean about how far you still have to go, my weight just stays the same for ages, then I have a gain, then a bit of a loss, then it all starts again!
But then I think what my body has got me through and thank it for not giving up on me and that helps me stay a bit more focused.

Good luck with the bank, can you just pretend that you are explaining the situation to a friend instead? Would that help?

Not2bObvious · 03/08/2020 11:08

I’ve applied for refunds for both, and have been offered vouchers for both, not taking vouchers. Nearly €2k I’m owed. There was talk that all refunds from when I was first meant to travel have been processed, not my experience. I need to ring them, I’ve just not had it in me.
Well done sing (is this a nc? Or someone new?) Muscle soreness after weights, do t worry sounds normal. Takes a while. I’ve often found the fear of doing things is worse than doing the thing you fear. Get what you need together for your call, make a list of what you need to say, find a quiet corner and get it done. You’ll be pleased once it’s over.
I need to get myself together. Lying in bed drinking tea, watching YouTube & FB videos.

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 03/08/2020 11:09

Haha seeing the irony of me telling you to make that call & I haven’t done my own call! In my defence today is a BH here so no point

OP posts:
SingToTheSky · 03/08/2020 11:12

It’s always easier to tell someone else TBF! I never take my own advice 😳

It’s LaneBoy :)

Not2bObvious · 03/08/2020 11:26

Do we ever take our own advice eh lane now sing 😉 But I did make a note with booking refs & dates, it’s just over €1750 not €2k like previously thought. Enough though, more than bloody enough. I’ll ring from my office in the morning, I can work while on hold.

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 03/08/2020 22:08

Very quiet today, hope you’ve all had a good day? Got my steps, ate around 2,000 so better than the previous few days.

OP posts:
SingToTheSky · 03/08/2020 22:22

I didn’t phone the bank 😳 I sorted my gym membership/password though. There are hundreds of spaces available for tomorrow and I’m not sure yet whether to go while fasting or wait until after a light breakfast. I’ve exercised a bit while fasting but only brief workouts not 50mins on machines!

Had lunch with friends which was really nice. I had one glass of fizzy and then switched to iced water. In the past I would feel really deprived doing that 😳 but I really didn’t today.

ememem84 · 04/08/2020 06:19

I’ve fallen off mfp so need to get back on it.

Managed 11000 steps yesterday. Didn’t think I would as dh was picking me up from work and going to get kids from dparents but it was a nice day so I walked to theirs from the office -3.5km walk after work (uphill) in the sun. Managed it in just half an hour so not too bad.

I also quit the gym yesterday. I’m struggling going because of wfh and my trainer is in all honesty not pushing me. So I quit her too.

lifelongfrugaleer · 04/08/2020 07:08

I didn't track yesterday and was going really well until I hit the salt based snacks. I should have drunk more as didn't drink enough yesterday.
Resting at 128 at the minute. Will maintain until 15 August when my leave finishes,

WreckTangled · 04/08/2020 07:31

Morning. I'm back after putting on another 5lb. Ffs.

Not2bObvious · 04/08/2020 08:04

Don’t fret wreck, I was 161 on Friday and 165.8 yesterday so pretty much the same. Down to 163.6 this morning after my brisk walk/shower (like I think the sweat weighs a lot haha) Hopefully you got some of the feck it feeling out of your system? I wasn’t full on feck it mode but I completely took my eye off the ball. Anyway back to it 100% today. I know it’s all very personal but 128 sounds incredible to me life, a very nice place to maintain from.
Pity about the gym/trainer em but if it wasn’t working for you it’s an expensive waste. There’s a lot you can do without either. I never lost with a year + of boot camps and hiit at gym/jogging, lost more with brisk walks!
