Still 159 so officially down 1.2 on last Friday, that’s good going for me.
That’s a good loss all things considered life, especially after the large loss last week. You starting to feel any better? I think I’ll chuck my almond milk out, making my daily protein shake with 0% Greek yog and water to loosen it so great protein, worth the extra 40 cals per 100gr over almond milk.
Busy day ahead, need to save cals for chinese takeaway 😋

Hi all!

Sorry I've not been posting.
We had some bad news, my mums cousin died (she was like an auntie really), so have been paying our respects and have sorted out flowers.
Then got told a few days later that my uncle has spine cancer, but they are hoping they have caught it early enough.

Sea, well done that is a great loss!
wolf, anything we can do to help?

So my weight went down to 11s9lbs, (morning weigh and almost naked) so I was very happy, but then got told that SW would be starting again in August, so our consultant said to start weighing in the evening again, so obviously weighed more, 11s12lbs! Oh well!

lifelongfrugaleer · 17/07/2020 09:56

I'm feeling better today. Really knocked me.
I'm ok with this week's results. Good going you too.

Oh dear curvy big hug to you.

Not2bObvious · 17/07/2020 11:04

I’m sorry to hear that curvy, and your poor uncle. Hopefully as you said they’ve caught it in time. Cancer is an utter bastard.
I don’t think I could go back to a slimming club having to weigh clothed & in the evening. Your morning weight is your true weight so bravo!

LaneBoy · 17/07/2020 11:21

Sorry curvy 💐

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 17/07/2020 17:12

Thank you all.

It's all been a bit much with the bad news and work finishing for the summer, so had to make sure everything was up to date and to sort out some of the nursery ready for September.

Then on top of all of that, we got told that our hotel was cancelled for our holiday in Spain, so was sorting that yesterday, which was a pain, but it did get sorted!

I'm really looking forward to almost 6 weeks off, tbh!

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 17/07/2020 17:33

Ahh just double checked the dates, it is actually 6 weeks.

WreckTangled · 17/07/2020 19:03

Curvy sorry to hear you're having such a rough time Thanks

We went to the beach today and had a picnic. I avoided the chicken bites, sausage rolls and angel cake.

Have had dinner and am on 1003 so have 200cals left over. I don't think I'll eat anything else as I'm quite full for once Grin

lifelongfrugaleer · 18/07/2020 07:33

I went way over again and have a pound up to pay for it.

WreckTangled · 18/07/2020 07:41

I'm up again despite another good day. Angry

WreckTangled · 18/07/2020 07:56

Curvy I've just counted and we've got 7 weeks off! Dc broke up Thursday and don't go back until 7th. Officially it's 6.5 weeks but they've got an inset Monday and two insets on 3rd and 4th September. I have to work Monday and the 3rd September but the odd day like that doesn't seem as strenuous Grin

Not2bObvious · 18/07/2020 08:03

Oh that’s so nice to have the summer (if that’s what we’re calling itHmm) off
Having weighed on an old style ASOD, likes like I’m still 159, in so as I could make out with my eyesight? Tons of crisps/snack after a pretty healthy chinese. But not much wine taken so I’m tired but not hungover.
Up after an off plan Friday is pretty standard life, and wreck it’s got to be water - you’ll get a whoosh soon

ChristmasSeacow · 18/07/2020 08:18

Sorry to hear about your bereavement Curvy. Glad you managed to rescue your holiday though.

I’ve stuck to plan all week - I’m not being rigid about the calories and do sometimes go over the 800, but I am being rigid about the scope of foods I eat (all low carb) and about 14:10 (I don’t find the 14:10 at all difficult, and in fact it is defo helping me overall. I’d do 16:8 but logistically it doesn’t work due to dc bedtime)

Weigh day today and I’m 2.6lb down this week. So -1st 2lb overall. Only 4-5 stone to go HmmGrin

Happierwithouthim · 18/07/2020 08:44

Curvy sorry for your loss and bad news re cancer Sad and holiday.

Sea well done you're going great, my uncles wife is doing Cambridge diet. Dinner is meant to be 200cals on it, she's lost a good bit of weight but I know I couldn't do it Wink

Not centra have started doing 0% Greek yogurt too, haven't seen nutritional info yet

Had supermac's & small slice of chocolate cake last night but rest of day was on track.
Today I'll be having bbq at my brothers house so that'll be fine too.

Very very poor nights sleep due to my burns.
Not sure if I posted here about it but I burnt my right calf and right upper arm on a patio heater on sat night. So no exercise all week Sad

Wreck shortbread is amazing Grin

Congrats on mini goal not

Not2bObvious · 18/07/2020 08:46

Ouch ouch happier, that’s sounds so sore. I hope it heals up quickly.
Can’t get back to sleep, arg!!! Lashing rain too so not sure how’ll I get my walk today☹️

ememem84 · 18/07/2020 09:14

Oh happier silly billy that sounds superbly painful!! Take it easy!

curvy so sorry to hear your sad news xxx

Dhs back is playing up again so up early for me with the kids and have walked to boots to grab him some Epsom salts for a bath. 2500 steps so far. Will blast it out while I’m riding later.

I am aching from the gym and my huge walk on Wednesday still.

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 18/07/2020 09:54

Aww thanks again guys, you all rock!

Wreck, yes my dcs go back on the 7th and 8th, but I'm back on the 1st, as we have training and will do home visits, probably virtually, get the room ready and as we will mostly be doing our learning outside, all the rooms will work out a plan.

Sea, that is some great weight loss, well done, you are a Star

Well done to you too not, looks like you have found what works for you.

Happier, ouch that sounds so painful, hope you are taking something for the pain.

WreckTangled · 18/07/2020 12:31

Got some low carb spaghetti from the health food shop (they do it in Aldi too) and made curried noodles. Including the stock cube it's 172 calories, 7.9g carbs, 3.8g fat and 21.6g protein.

Wolfcub · 18/07/2020 12:54

Curvy so sorry to hear about your auntie and uncle. I also have an auntie who isn't technically one and it doesn't change how much you feel about them

Pilates done. I've also lugged the vacuum right into the attic now there's very little of exes stuff left up in there and the once minging carpet looks much better

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 18/07/2020 14:01

Wolf, thank you, she will be missed a lot. When we were younger, my great nan, nan and grandad, uncles and aunts and their children all lived really close together and we were always in and out of all the houses always feeling very welcomed and loved.
The cousin that died was the eldest child of my uncle and aunt, and she would sometimes take us on adventures around the local-ish green area, she always had time for us.

Also well done at clearing the attic, must feel good!

Not2bObvious · 18/07/2020 16:23

Can’t stop eating chocolate & crisps today. In bad humour

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 18/07/2020 16:28

Too quick to click, I’m trying to figure out how to shift out of f’it mindset. Bit of a disappointment which has resulted in the bad humour, I’m tired and upset, hence reaching for salt & sugar. I’m low on steps but also energy. Maybe if I try get an hours sleep it’ll help the exhaustion but that won’t help with steps.

I wouldn't do this but I know I should practice what I preach not but I bet an hour of HIIT would make you feel a bit better. Sorry you're having a crap time. I'm just having a gin...

Not2bObvious · 18/07/2020 17:16

An hour of hiit would probably put my back out but if I wasn’t an old crock it’d be a good suggestion - thanks wreck, enjoy your gin
