Fingers crossed life, I really want to get into the 150’s and stay there, ideally making it into the 140’s before winter. This year feels like such a write off, I don’t want to carry this weight into 2021!
Sounds like the buffet won’t be too hard to resist, are you the cake fiend though or are we all cake fiends? Cake is a fecker for decimating the calorie allowance

lifelongfrugaleer · 12/07/2020 11:15

Yes im a cake feind for certain cakes. I will just have a sliver.

Bugger all motivation to move my ass today as well

Not2bObvious · 12/07/2020 11:19

I managed to get 5000 steps before breakfast watching a walkie talkie, I’ll walk to the restaurant & drive back so that’ll get me another 4-5000. Then I’ll have to get the last 5,000 later today. Ouf, it’ll be a grind but if I want to enjoy my pizza without guilt it’s necessary

I love a cake.

lifelongfrugaleer · 12/07/2020 16:57

I'm on 3400 steps so going for a walk now. 1700 calories guesting today. Was skiing fine until the millions short bread which has given me the sugar overload jitters

Not2bObvious · 12/07/2020 17:23

I’ve over 17,000 steps but I feel incredibly bloated after carb overload & I did have a couple of vinos😊 Drank 2 pints of water since I got home & could easily drink another 2, I’m that thirsty. Off to check mfp

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 12/07/2020 19:20

I'm now 300 over and a bit peckish. Today will be a maintenance day. Up to 13400 steps now though after a long walk

WreckTangled · 12/07/2020 19:25

Out for lunch today so no idea of carbs had a chicken burger with a macaroni cheese fritter and chips. I left the bun and coleslaw and I had a blueberry muffin but that's all today so should be too bad.

Not2bObvious · 12/07/2020 19:31

I’m over as well but I don’t feel anxious about it - in fact I might eat a bit more as I’m still feeling pangs. But I will wait 20 mins to be sure

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 12/07/2020 21:17

614 over but that's ok. I will attempt to reduce by 100 per day to pull my average back but hey ho if I don't. Also expected a salt spike tomorrow. Its ok too

Not2bObvious · 12/07/2020 21:50

I would leave it as it is life - remember you said you found it tough at points last week on 1600, 1500 might lead to minor binge? Your loss this week was really big considering your low weight, your deficit must have been over 1,000 a day. That’s a lot, no wonder you were hungry especially if today was beige food.
I’m 529 over (didn’t eat any more in the end) and my calories start fresh tomorrow. I’m planning my food like a divil!

WreckTangled · 13/07/2020 07:08

Good morning! A new week and a new mindset. Plus the sun is shining and my jeans are tight so what me motivation do I need?!

lifelongfrugaleer · 13/07/2020 07:09

You are right not.
As prediction up 1 today. God can't wait for my leave next week.

Not2bObvious · 13/07/2020 09:27

Pure carb bloat nothing more life, you’re doing brilliant.
Down to 159.6, possibly aided by the fact I flushed the carbs out of me by drinking 4 pints of weak squash & 3 black teas, I was unbelievably thirsty. Was convinced I’d see a gain but my just glimpsed 159.6 came back for a visit😬 Haven’t seen that since the 19th June. Lots to do today, work/child ferrying/food shopping & prepping.
Nice to hear you’re feeling geared to go wreck

All quiet here today, busy day I guess. On 1400, just over on protein & fibre. Not sure if I’ll bank the remaining 268 or have something, I’ll have a cuppa & reassess then. Had 2 x skinny whip bars from Iceland, in only 99 cals each and nigh on 4gr of fibre. Pure shite but a nice chocolate hit, even if I did need 2

OP posts:
WreckTangled · 13/07/2020 18:55

I'm on 895 and feeling good so far.

lifelongfrugaleer · 13/07/2020 20:58

Food on track couple g short on protein. Grinding out last 2k steps. Fbw done.

Some fab calorie counting going on

WreckTangled · 14/07/2020 07:13

Morning. Haven't weighed again. Didn't eat anything else yesterday.

I bought a new dress on Sunday and it looks awful with all my lumpy bits so it's my inspiration. Will be winter by the time I can wear it Grin

lifelongfrugaleer · 14/07/2020 07:15

1/4 down so un doing the weekend slowly. I feel like ive lost cm though

Not2bObvious · 14/07/2020 07:21

Weighed today, up .2 - but still (just) under 160. Despite the increased focus on fibre, it’s not yet helping with movements but I’m working on increasing my water so hopefully with time & consistency it’ll start working. Saved just over 200 cals yesterday. Feeling really tired this morning so have postponed my walk until later.
Few days like yesterday wreck and you’ll smooth out the lumps😉
Are your clothes starting to feel looser life? My jeans felt a bit loose yesterday but could be they need a wash😂
Going to have 60gr of that insanely expensive Kellogg’s probiotic, I really like it but 45gr is too sad

lifelongfrugaleer · 14/07/2020 11:04

I wear gym kit 90% of the time tbh not so no.

WreckTangled · 14/07/2020 11:14

I also only wear gym clothes when I'm not in the office. So comfy Grin

ememem84 · 14/07/2020 11:20

Currently wearing gym clothes as am planning a run later on. Man they’re comfy.

Not2bObvious · 14/07/2020 12:16

I’m in a different pair of jeans today, yep the other pair must have been stretched out!
Busy morning, Linda sausages, beans & toast for lunch, looking forward to it.

1.4 down this week. Really didn’t manage MFP though, stressed me out so much about numbers for home cooked stuff 🤦‍♀️

I’ve decided to try 16:8 mainly to stop me snacking in the evening and then craving a sugary breakfast and snacking more till lunch - feel quite relaxed about it and not like I’m needing to eat loads in my 8hr window so hopefully it will be a more fitting approach.
