Wow wreck I could never do that!
I have a digital course of Pilates for a particular condition so going to try that I think. My core strength is rubbish so I really struggled with a regular class at my gym (prefer yoga)

lifelongfrugaleer · 08/07/2020 20:23

Well done wreck.
Some good results here. The July reset seems to be working. All goals hit here for day 5.
Some side effects of healthier eating though means I'm sat on my own. Luckily I blamed the horses at the stables Grin

Not2bObvious · 08/07/2020 21:04

Haha life, I’ve no one to blame but myself! Really hope the extra fibre has a positive effect soon.

I've got some advice from the nutrition group about fodmap foods that irritate the gut and give ibs symptoms. There are lots of foods on there I like and eat.

Sts today.

Not2bObvious · 09/07/2020 08:07

Did a before walk weigh in, about a pound up on last Thursday but had some clothes on and haven’t had any movement in 48 hours despite upping the fibre (should be a decent mix of soluble/insoluble) Definitely need to improve my water intake though.
Just over 10,000 - trying to juggle my food diary to hit the main points for the least calories

Was 59 over yesterday but I didn’t actually eat all the dinner that I recorded so possibly ok. I was so tired or I would’ve done some more cycling - prioritized sleep instead :o

LaneBoy · 09/07/2020 08:34

I need to drink more water too not - managed 1L yesterday and I think I only got that much because I wanted to record it on MFP :o the silly thing is I do really like water and don’t really drink much else at home, I just forget. But due to a condition I have I should really be drinking more like 3L (along with increased salt intake which I find really hard).

Hopefully I can do more exercise today. Is the MFP step counter any good? Or should I get a different app to use when I leave the house (not very often at the moment 😳)

Not2bObvious · 09/07/2020 08:41

Most smartphones have a step counter, apple & Samsung for sure. I don’t think mfp counts steps but I could be completely wrong. I do have it linked to my Fitbit app but have to keep deleting the steps as it’s messing up my macros.
I’ve done over 10,000 and I’ve not stepped outside the door - jogged around my kitchen.

Sts this morning.
More water might make you less tired too.
Yes just down load a step counter app. Might not be totally accurate but is a start.

I'm on 6k so far but chained to desk now until lunchtime.

LaneBoy · 09/07/2020 09:22

It gave me the option of counting steps and now it does - maybe it uses the iPhone data. Problem is I leave the phone on any available surface most of the time :o I will get some kind of Fitbit one day, but can’t justify the cost ATM really

Happierwithouthim · 09/07/2020 10:03

That's just the crunchy bran not
Life I'm also lucky I'm sitting in my own part of office as the whiff isn't pleasant hopefully it'll start to settle down today!!!

lifelongfrugaleer · 09/07/2020 12:12

Happier Grin it's horrible isn't it. The things we do

ememem84 · 09/07/2020 12:39

3200 steps so far today. Dh dropped me in and took kids to nursery so I didn’t get my usual 2000 steps walking from nursery to office. Annoying! But glad of the lift!

Am sat at desk eating a butternut squash and bean salad. Gym later.

Not2bObvious · 09/07/2020 13:08

Is it sad that I’m excited about my protein powder delivery due this afternoon😂 Just finished a salad for lunch & have vision of myself slurping a delicious creamy shake shortly. The reality will probably be a severely tested gag reflex!

Tried the vanilla flavour with about 2/3 of a measure with 150ml semi skim milk & 60gr of raspberry, a little water & ice. Blended up, very nice! 4 other flavours left to try.
On a hunt for new cereal, found a fancy Kellogg’s probiotic oat/all bran clusters with almonds & pumpkin seed. 45gr gives 9.5 fibre and 6.8 I think of protein for 186 cals? Add 0% Greek yog, it’ll be good for macros.
Over 17,000 steps and around 80 cals left. First day I’ve felt I could go over

lifelongfrugaleer · 09/07/2020 20:56

The Kellogg's probiotics is nice. I've tried both with yoga, frozen raspberry linseed and Chi's seeds

lifelongfrugaleer · 09/07/2020 20:58

I'm stepping on the spot have 85 left. I'm hungry today. Tried unsweetened almond milk in my tea. Was nice enough

lifelongfrugaleer · 10/07/2020 07:06

Down today. My average is currently -1. 5. Let's not blow it today eh

WreckTangled · 10/07/2020 07:07

My weight isn't budging. I've been on 1200 all week so far. Annoying. I'm taking the dc to McDonald's for breakfast today I probably won't be able to resist but have put it into MFP already and will forego lunch.

ememem84 · 10/07/2020 07:44

Weight down again. Yay. 75.3kg. Not much but it’s going the right way.

Cannot believe that 3/4 weeks ago it was up at 78kg. Even though I was bloated etc I still believe scales were wrong then.

Funny how I’m not convinced they’re wrong when the number is getting lower....!

Not2bObvious · 10/07/2020 08:01

That’s around 6lb em, it’d take the loss of a limb for me to lose 6lb in 3-4 weeks, well done!
That’s a nice start to the weekend life, it’ll encourage you to stick with it I reckon - you’re totally on it ⭐️
I was 161.8 last Friday (cue tantrum) 162.4 Saturday, 162.8 Sunday, 163 Monday. Today I’m 160.2 after 4 days of hitting protein/fibre/steps and keeping to 1668 or under.
No shame in a maintain wreck, it’ll drop give it time. Enjoy you McDonald’s, still haven’t had one this year I think apart from a drive through coffee months ago

My weight just keeps going up and up. Depressing

Not2bObvious · 10/07/2020 08:57

Btw - that Kellogg’s probiotic cereal, serving size 45gr. Put it this way, it only took 70ml of milk to cover it. I moved it from a normal cereal bowl to an Ikea kids bowl to try make it look more substantial. I think an egg cup might be more appropriate! Nearly €4 a box

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 10/07/2020 09:00

Sorry you’re feeling down wolf, I know that feeling of watching the scales creep up. Can you pinpoint why? I know mine is down to drinking & eating too much at weekends, no amount of walking & Monday-Wednesday on track could out smart my wine/crisps/chocolate habit. I do track but I’m sure I underestimated that as well

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 10/07/2020 11:43

Can we help wolf?
