Hey.

Is anyone doing Exante? I’m starting tomorrow šŸ¤žšŸ»

Me. I'm at my target now, but I'm aiming at doing 5:2 now so have ordered some more for my fasting days.

ItWasTheBestOfTimes · 11/06/2020 20:52

I’ve been doing Exante for coming up to 3 weeks now, finding it surprisingly easy so far. Weekends are the worst when DP is home, I’m not hungry but still crave normal food iyswim.

Look to, if you don’t mind sharing I’d be interested to know how much you lost and in what time period. Thanks

No problem. I was 12st 6lbs and am now 10st 6lbs. I started on the 27th February, and after an initial big loss of 7lbs in the first week it's averaged out at a pound or 2 a week. I won't lie, there have been some weeks where I've plateaued including one run of 10 days, but then it's started to drop again.
And mainly I've had 2 products a day + a proper dinner, albeit a smaller version of what I used to have.
I've also been using The Fast 800 Recipe Book for recipe ideas.

ItWasTheBestOfTimes · 12/06/2020 09:43

Wow that’s great, I’m doing total meal replacement and had around 3 stone to lose after DC2 so hopefully I get most of it off in the 12 weeks.

Bubblemonkey · 12/06/2020 11:20

Mr Hermes needs to hurry up 😫

Have you got your order now Bubblemonkey?

Bubblemonkey · 12/06/2020 17:14

Nope. Stupidly didn’t buy any food either so I’m painfully hungry now. Had a slimfast this morning & that’s it since dinner last night.

Hello, really pleased to see this thread! I’m on day #4 of total solution. Trying to stick to 3 packs p/day but allowing myself a semi-skimmed milk in tea and coffee + Diet Pepsi in moments of desperation. And I had an Orange today and on day #2. Basically aiming for 600-800 Cals p/day.

Day 2 was hard, yesterday I felt weirdly euphoric, today has been hard again... glad to know there are others in the same boat!

Bubblemonkey · 13/06/2020 20:27

How did you do today @AnastasiaKrupnick? I’m hungry now but it’s not too bad for my first day.

OP posts:
AnastasiaKrupnick · 13/06/2020 21:25

Hi @bubblemonkey glad to hear your packs arrived! Well done on getting through your first day, the first few are definitely the hardest. But hopefully it makes it easier to know it does get better!

I totally caved last night because DH was having an Indian. I had a small dessert spoon of his chicken dish and some mango chutney... it was yum! Thought it would be hard to leave it at that, but I found I was satisfied. Was fine going back to normal today too. Also got my period so that’s probably why I was feeling weak, it’s only amazing that I didn’t crack into the chocolate digestives.

Today I had the packs + a carrot and 4 olives. Tummy is rumbling now but I’ll just drink some more water. How are you holding out?

feellikezerobucks · 15/06/2020 11:19

I'm starting day one today šŸ¤žšŸ» I'm hungry and was hoping to have my first shake at 10 but work calls are on going so still not had it yet....

Planning on just having Exante products, should I be having 3 or 4 a day? When I did it before it was 3 but now I've read it's 4??

How is everyone getting on?
I have 3 stone to lose and would like to shift most over the summer šŸ¤žšŸ»

Skyfatlass · 15/06/2020 11:39

I’m starting today too! Finding it fine but it’s the evenings where I always struggle.
I’m doing 3 packs a day and have around 4 stone to loose - I’d be happy with 3 stone loss and would love a 5 stone loss but don’t think that’s realistic so aiming for 4!
How’s everyone a little further on finding it?

Bubblemonkey · 15/06/2020 16:32

I’m in a foul mood & I want actual food šŸ˜–šŸ˜«

Today is my day 7 so I’m excited to weigh tomorrow. Definitely feel like my clothes are already looser. Also wanting to lose about 3 stone.

I have got 3 of the bars left from my 2-week pack. Can’t wait till they’re all gone because they’re absolutely rotten! Has been easier than I expected overall though.

AnastasiaKrupnick · 16/06/2020 08:06

Just weighed myself and I’ve lost 5lb in first week! More than the weight, I’m already noticing changes to my shape, especially round the middle. Just put on a dress I haven’t worn in ages because it was a bit too tight.

I’m having 3 packs a day + a few veg

feellikezerobucks · 16/06/2020 08:19

@AnastasiaKrupnick well done! How have you found it??

AnastasiaKrupnick · 16/06/2020 09:58

Thanks @feellikezerobucks It’s actually been OK. Thought there might have been questions from DCs about why I wasn’t eating with everyone else. Weirdly, because we’re all together all the time they don’t seem to have clocked it so much somehow. I quite like not having to think about what I’m eating — the packs can still be depressing (the lemon bar is utterly filthy disgusting) But I start to feel hungry very gradually, rather than being hit by a sudden feeling of starvation, and I have so much energy! Honestly, that’s the most noticeable thing. I feel amazing.

Skyfatlass · 16/06/2020 11:29

Well done on the loss AnastasiaKrupnick that’s great!
How did you get on last night Bubblemonkey? I didn’t cheat last night but I had an awful nights sleep as I felt so hungry, but I feel better this morning so hopefully it will get better everyday.

AnastasiaKrupnick · 16/06/2020 17:18

Well done for not cheating @Skyfatlass, it’s hard! I’m felling hungry, cold and fed up. How are you @Bubblemonkey? Any more experienced hands have any advice about managing the tougher times?

Bubblemonkey · 16/06/2020 18:18

I’m a dirty quitter 🤭 sort of doing something between the 800 & 1200 plan.

OP posts:
MaggieTheFrog · 16/06/2020 18:33

I've started and I'm doing the 2 or 3 products with a 400 cal low carb (less then 10g) evening meal.
I'm really struggling with headaches, foggy headed and irritability. Please tell me it gets easier Sad

Skyfatlass · 17/06/2020 07:46

MaggieTheFrog I think the first 3-6 days of any diet are the worst, what day are you on? Should hopefully get better soon!
You’re not a quitter Bubblemonkey! You’ll still loose weight with that plan. You’ve got to do what works for you Smile
Another awful nights sleep for me, I wasn’t as hungry but just couldn’t fall asleep, I hope I sleep tonight or I might have to drop to two packs and a meal soon 😓

MaggieTheFrog · 17/06/2020 12:59

Thank you this is day 3. I know I need to keep at it, just feel everything is amplified all being at home together too.
Have upped my water and have broken one of the snack bars into little pieces to help with the hunger between meals

Skyfatlass · 18/06/2020 06:59

How did yesterday go for everyone? I made it but it was tough. I think I need to drink more water too MaggieTheFrog, did you find that helped?
Slept a little more last night but still need to catch up so I’m going to
try and go to bed super early tonight, on the plus side that should help me avoid the evening munchies.

ItWasTheBestOfTimes · 18/06/2020 09:23

I’m still on plan, almost 4 weeks now. It gets easier as you go on imo. Drinking lots helps. I’ve learned on this diet that feeling thirsty is very similar to feeling hungry, and that I probably mistook thirst for hunger pre diet as I didn’t drink much water.
