Hello, I have binged my way through lockdown, I was already a couple of stone overweight.

I am so fed up with myself and am beyond miserable.

Have decided that today is the day I start slim fast!

Anyone wasn't to join me? Would love some company and motivation.

Just bought my shake and bars today. Basically the fatest I have been ever. Officially obese now so am desperate for this to work.

I’ve completely fluffed if this week.

Starting again Monday. It turns out I’ve gained 13lbs during lockdown so I’ve decided I need to treat it as an emergency.

Anon20201 · 06/06/2020 09:14

Weighed myself 11:13. I have broken the diet a few times this week so not sure why I was expecting to see a drop! @ArriettyJones I’ll join you Monday.

It’s so difficult as I eat my emotions whether happy or sad. I downloaded Paul McKenna book n app but to be honest made no difference.

Hope everyone’s doing well! Just did a weigh in- I’m now 13.1, so I have lost 5lb in a week, yay! Still 24lbs to go though😅

I’m doing a mix of slimfast because it’s left me feeling hungry and given me loadsss of windBlush along with calorie counting.

I’m going out for a jog now with DP. How’s everyone else doing?

ArriettyJones · 07/06/2020 10:40

@Anon20201 do you find it easier once you get going? I kick myself because I find it easier overall to do these extreme regimes for set periods of time, but I always have at least one false start trying to get in the swing of it.

How is Monday going, everyone? For those who've weighed, I hope it was good news! I haven't shifted, despite 5 runs in 8 days, plenty of other exercise and pretty much sticking to the calories. Grump.

Plan is to carry on as I am for another week, doing the exercise, drinking the water - so much water - and keeping within calorie limits. Then I'll measure as well as weigh and see if there's any change there.

I am making better choices though, so that's a win even if there's no measurable outcome. Silver lining, right?

i've started a "starting this week" for June 2020 if anyone fancies joining

ADayAlwaysHasToEnd · 08/06/2020 19:44

Can I join. I started today, and I weighed 76.4 kg my goal weight is 60kg which I was until 2 years ago when I started emotionally eating. So right now I'm very motivated
