hiya everyone,

doublethelove, sounds like good meals so far. My af has just gone but IKWYM about needing willpower then!

I am still on track. Was just about to say that i'm off out for curry tonight but the preschool have just rung and dd isn't very well. So will have to put that on hold. Poor little thing, she seemed ok this morning. Not good yesterday evening but her normal perky self when she woke so I sent her in. Bless her

Right must be off to pick her up, 'see' you all later

Glad to hear you're still on track. hope dd ok

Sunshine78 · 21/09/2007 11:47

morning all. The chocolate is still safely in the cupboard messing about on the computer took my mind of it! Having a hectic day toay as both kids have swimming lessons and I'm having a pmpered chef party tonight which is going to be fab but full of bad things! For dessert we are having waffle berry pudding which involves white chocolate - yummy but not good for the waist line! Never mind though it is Friday night and I've been good all week. Hope the rest of you are keeping clear of temptation!

LadyOfWaffle · 21/09/2007 14:03

Afternoon! All IO have eaten so far is a tuna sandwich (but I snuck mayo in ) so not tooooo bad. How are we keeping track of our weights? Will we have a weigh in day? And a chart/list?

Eddas · 21/09/2007 14:16

Hiya,

Ladyofwaffle, i've written down the start weights, going to do a list of people's losses each week. Monday'll be weigh in day for me, think other's are planning on doing it then too?

DD seems ok, just a bit down IYSWIM, it's only a cold/cough but the broken sleep makes them tired doesn't it.

DS is now in a bit of pain. DD rolled him back onto his back whilst we weren't looking(although she's been told so many times not too) and he now cries when he tries to move his left arm Not sure if I should take him anywhere to have it looked at? It seems like it's just bruised, a bit like when you snap your finger back the wrong way He's having a little sleep so will wait and see what he's like when he wakes up.

Been ok so far today, had fruit and fibre and two boiled eggs and brown bread. Off to have some friut as still hungry.

Not sure what to have for my dinner as I was planning on going out with dh and our friends for a curry but with dd being ill i cancelled MIL to stay home. Now I have to make my food ah well

I had beans on toast for lunch and no snacking in between today so much better. Eddas..how's ds? does he seem better after nap? I know how you feel, my 2 are always pushing each other about... how old is ds btw?
i'll be weighing mon as well-fingers crossed for some weight loss!

Eddas · 21/09/2007 17:03

ds is 5 months, dd is 3years3months. Had to take him to A&E as he just wasn't moving his arm A doctor looked at him, did all the checks etc and went of to find her senior doctor. Tey agreed he'd need an xray as he cried everytime you touched/bent his elbow. BUT after the 2nd doctor had pulled his arm about a bit it must've set something free and he started to move it again. The xray man didn't want to do it as the arm looked ok so took us back to the doctor who agreed it must've sorted itself from the pulling about the doctor did. So all is well.

DD now seems ok too but I'm stuck in now as we cancelled MIL, ho hum always another night for a curry.

oh the poor thing , at least all is well now... it's awful when they can't tell you if something hurts isn't it?

sugar34plum · 22/09/2007 07:37

bless him glad they both are ok. xx

Eddas · 22/09/2007 07:47

Morning everyone, VERY tired today, DD&DS now have coughs/colds so woke me up through the night(taking it in turns naturally!) Then DH falls in(been on the beer) and does his best to keep me awake too

I'm so determined with my diet this time I really hope I can keep up my enthusiasm and lose this weight.

I'm sure there's little, if any, lose so far since it's only been 4 days but I do feel better, I didn't realised how bloated I normally feel. My diet was REALLY bad so it's no suprise I guess.

I was really hungry at about 9 last night but instead of raiding the crisps I had a glass of water worked though, the hunger went. I don't drink enough normally, although drinking enough alchohol is never a problem

Hope everyone is still with me

I totally fell off the wagon yesterday

It was such a nightmare at the hospital.

First Harry was crawling around and liflet his arms up so went face first into the hard floor and slpit his lips open badly so the dr had to come and look at him as he was drenched in blood.

The the Dr took 5 attempts at jacks bllod tests and only actually got enough blood for 3 of the 10 tests he needed, the poor bugger screamed and sobbed for ages.

I had a couple of squares of choccy in the park on the way home. Then DP brought a KFC for dinner although i only had sweet chilli chicken and beans i didn't have chips or anything else.

But i am determined to do this so this morning i am having a grapefruit

doublethelovedoublethekisses · 22/09/2007 08:42

Morning! I didn't have a fantastic dinner last night (spaghetti/meatballs) but only yoghurt after and still managing to keep off the snacks. really struggling though, af really bad and just wanna eat everything in sight! not going to though cos i know it won't actually make me feel any better! any suggestions for a low fat pudding? I'm used to having one but don't really like yoghurts i only eat them if i have to!!

Charlee · 22/09/2007 09:17

What about a fruit salad?

or sorbet?

sugar34plum · 22/09/2007 09:23

Hi all. We had a takeaway last night but i had chicken kebab eat only the chicken and the salad. Chicken is grilled so thats ok isnt it?

didnt do food shopping yesterday so nothing healthy to eat this morning. so i have had 3 maryland cookies with my morning mocha but i did then do and 1 1/2 hours of ironing. does that balance it out??

have to say i feel better just knowing im trying to eat better.

sounds lik eeveryone else is doing great too!

Well done

sugar34plum · 22/09/2007 09:23

charlee is lo ok?

doublethelovedoublethekisses · 22/09/2007 09:42

good thinking charlee! will give them a go. sugar i do that when i'm watching my weight... it is only a chicken salad after all!

Charlee · 22/09/2007 09:59

Yes both kiddies are fine, Jack is full of needle holes and Harry has a big fat lip but apart from that they are ok!

Eddas · 22/09/2007 10:00

charlee, sounds like you deserved a treat to me hope your 2 are doing ok today.

double, my dh has a smoothie ice lolly or one of those skinny cow ones for his pudding. Not too much fat in them. I'm lucky as we never had puddings at home(well we did on rare ocassions) so not use to them and don;t miss them. I did get into the habit of having chocolate with a cuppa once dd was in bed. Not having that atm, just the cuppa or some water.

Sugar, we have chicken kebabs sometimes and consider then ok as they are just grilled meat and salad, mind you mines' normally covered in galic mayo, yum

OP posts:
doublethelovedoublethekisses · 22/09/2007 10:10

hmmm, have seen those skinny cow things, might give them a go as well. I wasn't brought up on dessert either but dp was and i just got into a really bad habit of joining him!
Charlee, good to hear both bubas ok x

SleeplessInTheStaceym11House · 22/09/2007 12:27

doublethelove, skinny cow ice cream is delicios!!!

doublethelovedoublethekisses · 22/09/2007 13:30

that's good to hear!... have just ordered them with my shopping online along with sorbet, bananas, grapefruit, and loads more healthy type stuff!! am very determined ths time around

Eddas · 22/09/2007 14:11

well done DTLDTK!! The skinny cow lollies are yum, chocolate one is my fav, obviously trying to give them a miss too atm.

I think i'll have a couple of vodka and cokes(diet ) to celebrate my 5 whole days on a diet

Think i'm going to do online shopping from now on, have done in twice without hassle and when I go back to work it'll be one job less to do, although not back until dec!

OP posts:
doublethelovedoublethekisses · 22/09/2007 14:41

online shopping so much easier! It's also what i do for work (i run that section in a supermarket) that's how i got started.
I agree you should celebrate your success so far... my celebration is a kebeb tonight- chicken of course (thanks for the idea sugar!)

sugar34plum · 22/09/2007 17:44

dldk enjoy the kebab i did had a tia maria and zero coke to go with!

eddas no way to the garlic mayo dh had some last night and when he turned over this morning and breathed on me it was like having a chemical peel his breath was a bio hazard warning!!!
mind you it is very strong garlic.

Been v good today drinking lots of flavoured water and when i want to snack i grab some polo's.

Hours more of ironing (ebay) so more calories burned.

dh wants profiteroles for puds tonight. Not sure i can resist them but will try.
