I now you've 'gone' pinions but thanks again!

Off to dd's swimming lesson in minute and will be finding out what time opening swimming is. Would use the gym too but it's mighty expensive and i couldn't warrant a membership fee each month.

Just done my online shop. I'm sure it has to be cheaper when on a diet coz there's no choccie/crisps etc

Just checking in quickly before i go to work for the evening
I had soup for lunch without bread and it was actually very nice! was !
Also had a plum and satsuma so doing very well, however have prepared shepherds pie for dp's dinner so have set aside a small portion for myself but will top it up with loadsa veggies!

Eddas · 03/10/2007 15:27

told you i was about soup with no bread, but it's just what you get used to. I am trying to retrain myself. No soup today as forgot to buy it this morning, so just had some chicken and a banana. Drinking some water now and having spag bol tonight, with wholwheat spag. trying to cut the portions down atm rather than cut out everything. I'm not really eating bread and potatoes(last night had some roasties though but i'm still going to have some pasta and rice.

Morning

Feeling more positive about this weightloss malarky today. Have looked into the swimming timetable and it looks like i'm looking at monday and wednesday so I will go on monday then will try to go wednesday too but even if it's once a week that's better than I do now! Actually, I might have a look at another local swimming baths in a min to see if their timetable is more flexible

Had f&f for brekkie, will go buy some soup after i've dropped dd at preschool as my tesco delivery isn't until between 4-6 so too late for lunch! Having sausages tonight, will just have veg with mine and do dh&dd some mash(I don't like mash)

Must be off, got to get the troops ready

just been and bought some more soup. amazing that some of the 'healthy' soups are relatively high in fat content. I looked like a right >@{?> but I was reading the backs of all the cans and choose loads Mainly veg based since they are lower in fat (der, didn't think, but obviously they would be) oh and my favourite from my childhood, oxtail, is quite low so have bought that, yum, haven't had it in years

I think I am in danger of becoming a diet bore hopefully a slim one in a few months/years time

How's everyone else doing? Haven't heard from some of you in a while, hope you are all ok

Hey Eddas, I'm still here!
I've had cereal for breakfast and also plan to have soup for lunch... no excuse now i know i can eat it without the bread!
Told dp i was going to start buying wholewheat pasta and he said he likes it so one less thing to worry about! thought i was going to have to start cooking seperate meals!!

Eddas · 04/10/2007 11:12

Glad you're still about

The pasta tastes exactly the same, so does the rice. Do what I do, don't tell him til he's eaten it,lol!

Off to have some fruti and water See told you I was a diet bore

hi everyone, had some wotsits a minute ago oh well better than the chocci that I REALLY want right now might have some I know I shouldn't and probably won't but in the mood for a little treat. Maybe I should go and get a weight watchers dessert thingy, at least it won't be so bad

On a less choccie note, I have only had f&f, soup and the wotsits today, so all in all not bad.

Oooo actually, I may just make myself a hot chocolate(low cal of course) that might get the craving to go

I HAVE TOO MUCH TIME TO THINK, arghhhhhhhhhhhh

OP posts:
eandh · 05/10/2007 19:49

evening had a coule of 'ok' days doing really well no snacking and eating breakfast and lunch but dinner seems tobe so boring so have been scouring books/web for new ideas but a confident I will have lost a little bit this week ( resisited all the chocolate that was at work and ate my bowl of grapes )

doublethelovedoublethekisses · 06/10/2007 09:01

Ok, so yesterday started really well, I had cereal before I went to work and mid morning I had a banana then I was really busy at work so just grabbed a chicken salad sandwich All sounds fine until......................................
dtldtk falls off the wagon spectacularly!!
Dp not feeling well and wanted cake and of course I jus had to join him, so we decided to go the wholehog and get a takeaway aswell... If you're gonna do it might as well do it properly!!
How you all doing?

Eddas · 06/10/2007 09:41

well yesterday i ate some chocolate, note much so don't feel too bad, but had some

Am currently eating some toast and jam as i fancy a treat for being good but I will be good for the rest of the day

Got loads of painting to do today so I should burn off the jam anyway

Hi all,
I've been fairly good today, Skipped brekkie cos I was very busy and had ham salad sandwich for lunch and roast chicken for dinner ( dry roasted the potatoes and plenty of veg!)
Just to let you know that I won't be weighing tomorrow cos we're off to Yarmouth for the week on holiday so I won't be about ( probably just as well after the week I've had )
Hopefully I'll keep it up whilst I'm away!!
Speak to you all when I get back and sending you lots of encouragement for the week ahead!!

Eddas · 07/10/2007 20:07

have a great holiday dtldtk

Been really bad today, ah well, will pick it up again tomorrow. I'm not going to weigh either as i'm going to leave it a few weeks. But I will be carrying on the diet. I have to, there's so much soup in the cupboard

OP posts:
eandh · 07/10/2007 21:00

I have just weighed and lost anothe 1.5lb so 5.5lb in 2 weeks and had severe pmt this week and only had one small bit of chocolate (although have just had bit of chinese for tea but in my defence spent all afternoon painting te new playroom!)

Eddas · 07/10/2007 21:43

well done eah, brilliant!

i have weighed myself, but shouldn't have, think it's a loss of 6-8lbs in total now, scales are a little hard to read, but which ever that is half a stone ish so yay

how's the green eah? bet is not as bright as my pink I painted my dining room pink yesterday! VERY bright but I really like it!

OP posts:
eandh · 08/10/2007 06:19

well done thats great !!!!!!!!!

its lovely am so pleased with it and am picking that furniture up tonight so should be sorted by tomorrow, well I need new curtains but unless they are cheap they'll have to wait till payday(do you fancy coming round thursday afternoon?)

Eddas · 08/10/2007 08:08

well I weighed myself this morning and I am now 12st2, so that's 4lbs this week and 8lbs in total

WOO HOO

I must be good this week, and will go swimming, maybe tonight but if not on wednesday

I can't wait til my first weigh in that says 11 stone something!

So how's everyone else going?

EAH have texted you but yes to thursday!

The loss has definately spurred me on, was so disappointed last week. But I will carry on as I'd love to lose a stone by end of november(my birthday) also have to go back to work end november so would be nice to fit into some of my work clothes

OP posts:
eandh · 08/10/2007 08:11

yey well done!! Did proper weigh in this morning and mine is 2lb this week so 6lb in total yey at this rate I'll be able to have nice clothes for christmas day and want to be in the photos

Pinions · 08/10/2007 15:29

on weight loss Eddas.

Eddas · 10/10/2007 17:24

i fear i may being talking to myself, but will carry on regardless and hope you are all there

Have had some chocolate today but it was lovely and I don't care. Been sticking to the diet mainly with a few hiccups. I'm not going to be silly and wish I could have something, that drives me nuts. Better to have it in small doses but only when I really want to rather than everyday. Normally I have chocolate about 4 times a day so i'm doing really well for me!

My trousers are all feeling loose now. DH said they looked stupid last night. I'd taken the belt off and they were hanging seriously low. Might try on some smaller ones later, but I just know they'll still be too tight and that'll be depressing!

OP posts:
eandh · 11/10/2007 08:05

I am still here - been good this week went out for lunch with the dd's and dh yesterday as it was dh birthday and I did have a burger but only ate half the chips and resisted pudding, am going out sat night with friends for dh birthday but if I am very good for rest of week I'll be able to enjoy a nice meal

See you in a bit eddas

Eddas · 13/10/2007 09:07

Well, I was VERY bad yesterday but will aim to be better today. I really do want to lose this weight, but I stupidly bought some chocolate so ended up eating it. And some crisps

Oh well today is a new day.

Off to weight myself and see how much damage I have doen this week

OP posts:
Eddas · 13/10/2007 09:11
