Apologies for the terrible title but I wanted to encapsulate the boss and how supportive everyone is.

the wine gums are calling my name from the pantry. dh requested pizza for supper. since neither of us feel like going to get additional bits (i've not driven since my fall) asparagus will be used instead of mushrooms, red for green pepper, and ham for salami...
meanwhile :) the bikes have been washed, chain lubed, and the batteries charging. i'm hoping for a little ride before nightfall!

Foreverlexicon · 25/05/2020 12:49

Managed to stick to it yesterday and today but have to admit, I’m struggling. It’s the week before I’m due on and do tend to find I have a few days where I just want to eat everything in sight.

Current mantra is ‘just get it done’ and I’m repeating that to myself over and over. Just a quiet day for me today; had a nap after work, going to enjoy the sunshine and go for a short ride on the horse later on.

MrsJonesAndMe · 25/05/2020 13:22

Hope you got out on your bike @fallfallfall and you on the horse @foreverlexicon

Not much action here. Eating lots and went shopping, now watching a movie with the kids

Foreverlexicon · 26/05/2020 09:15

Yesterday went well enough.
Went about 150 cal over as woke up starving in the night so had to have a snack but meh.

Ran 6.5km this morning, going to do some gardening and ride the horse later. Hopped on the scales and I’ve lost 4lb of the regain. Hoping I can somehow lose 3.5lb in the next week so I’ve made at least a little progress since I last saw the gf.

MrsJonesAndMe · 26/05/2020 14:16

Well done @Foreverlexicon

How are you @SunshineCake?

I've gained another 0.5kg or 1lb, so trying to reign it in today. Lots of water, aiming to eat in 8hrs and have my 5 a day.

Been for a walk, but it was rather slow with a toddler in tow. Will do yoga and possibly a quick HIIT video.

Galvantula · 26/05/2020 17:03

Still maintaining here. Out for a quick cycle with the family after work.

Also on "hungry week here though" 🤦

Galvantula · 26/05/2020 17:04

Oh pretend those inverted commas were in the right place for "hungry week" 😂

Galvantula · 26/05/2020 17:04

No wait i did quotation marks. I give up.

MrsJonesAndMe · 26/05/2020 17:48

LOL Looks like it's also brain fog week at the same time.

I've managed to reign it in, now I just need to not let anything other than water pass my lips for the rest of the day.

SunshineCake · 26/05/2020 19:45

Hi everyone

Wasn't MIA really just really busy.

Walked the dog with ds2 so only out an hour then all day in the kitchen. Made bacon sandwiches for everyone else and I had salad, olives and some other bits I can't remember. For dinner I made us chilli and Sri Lanka coconut roti. Very nice. Then I walked the dog again. Should go on the bike as I didn't run today but I think I've done enough. Step count is currently 12474.

Weight still the same but inches off tummy and thigh.

Tired but pleasantly so. Worrying about dd as she is now finding it hard being in and I'm worried she's planning on still going out with her friend having got her mum to say she will pick her up. We've said no but she's pretty stubborn. I've told dh he has to keep an eye while I'm walking the dog to make sure she doesn't go anywhere Sad.

MrsJonesAndMe · 26/05/2020 20:22

Oh no, that's a worry @sunshinecake. DD has met a few friends (separately) for a sit down/picnic or a walk/cycle while keeping a distance.

Sounds like you've done more than enough for one day!

Hi everyone. I’ve set my watch for 320 calories of movement, and 30 minutes of exercise. I’m logging best I can.
I’ve seen 157.7 but equally 159.
I’ve been able to bike daily.
Keep up the good work!

MrsJonesAndMe · 27/05/2020 06:43

OOOh, tell me more @SunshineCake

Hope you had a great day @fallfallfall

Foreverlexicon · 27/05/2020 08:57

That dinner sounds delicious @SunshineCake

Good day for me yesterday. Came in at 150 or so under goal.

I had;
B - banana, peanut butter and oat smoothie
L - cobb salad
D - satay chicken, rice and green beans
S - mango and some chocolate
E - ran 6.5k and rode the horse

Felt a bit down again yesterday and was tempted to eat more chocolate as I had spare calories but using up my calories despite not being hungry was my downfall last time I counted as I stopped listening to my body so I resisted and went to bed.

I have a jumping lesson on the horse today which will be good; first one since lockdown and meeting a friend for a walk later. Also plan to do a Jillion Michaels DVD. I’m starting to notice some very vague tone in my stomach when I tense it which is quite exciting!

SunshineCake · 27/05/2020 11:09

OOOh, tell me more *@SunshineCake*

Hope you had a great day @fallfallfall

It is the quoting facility that normally only MNHQ have.

I've been for my the three run today and was out for two hours in total with my dog. Cheeky madam still sulked about having to go home after all that time !

Well done on the resisting *@Foreverlexicon!

So far another good day here too and I should because the scales were not kind on Weigh in Wednesday!
69.3kg means I'm heavier than I've been in a while. Have tried not to go over the 12kg that I lost...and now I have. Got as low as 13kg, so lets see what i can do.

Well done you two!

SunshineCake · 27/05/2020 14:14

I'm 79.8 kilos Sad. Up 3kilos since March.

OP posts:
MrsJonesAndMe · 27/05/2020 15:23

You'll get there. I think the key will probably be to eat something like a Low Fodmap diet and just cut out anything that may react. Have you considered it?

SunshineCake · 27/05/2020 16:54

I haven't had chance to look up FODMAP eating yet but I am trying as much as possible to avoid the stuff I am intolerant I but it isn't easy. We are trying not to go out and there is still plenty in, just some of it I can't have but could do with using.

OP posts:
MrsJonesAndMe · 27/05/2020 20:52

Yes, it's tricky times and without the routines, my eating has gone way off course. I had 2 lots of bread today....so tomorrow lunch is a jacket potato and tea is chilli and rice, so no bread should pass my lips.

I'm hungry, but I've brushed my teeth and had a glass or water, so may just go to bed soon Blush

SunshineCake · 27/05/2020 21:25

I've already been in bed nearly ten minutes and ate four or five squares of milk chocolate since I was upstairs. Not sorry. Just so tired as been awake since before six.

RubySlippers77 · 27/05/2020 23:35

@SunshineCake I feel your pain with being so tired... the builders yard near us decided to start work at 5am yesterday Angry by 2pm I was so tired that I had to lie on the sofa for a snooze and tell the DC to 'look after me'!

I've started C25K and done three runs, but had to take DS1 with me on the second (which was ok) and both DC with me for the third... aaarrrggghhh. I don't see any way round it though as I can't go out before DP goes to work - he leaves at 6pm - and I don't want to go at 8pm once the DC are in bed, I have too much to do in the evenings as it is.

Hope everyone is well, I'll try to catch up more later but it's very late again by the time I've finished everything and I am very tired Sad

TorysSuckRevokeArticle50 · 27/05/2020 23:44

Hello ladies, hope everyone is coping well with these 'unprecedented times' as everyone seems to like to say at the moment.

I have been staying alert - to the location of sweets, chocolates and cakes at all times

Had a veeerrrrrrry long 7 hour conference call today! Yay!

I have discovered that adding condensed milk to iced latte makes it so delicious it's basically irresistible and it's called a Spanish latte which makes me feel like I'm on holiday when I sip it on my deck chair in the back garden 😁

Weight is.........fat, but despite that I'm feeling quite content. Sun is shining, my fruit and veg are all growing lovely, I dug up a bag of potatoes today for dinner and have been picking a bowl of strawberries a day for the last few days which is very fulfilling. Little yellow flowers are springing up on my tomato plants and a few little pods on the garden and sugar snap peas, so looking forward to watching them grow.

Foreverlexicon · 28/05/2020 05:57

That sounds idyllic @TorysSuckRevokeArticle50 I find the idea of homegrown food so wholesome but sadly anything I touch dies.

Yesterday was a success.
B - rice cakes with peanut butter and banana
L - pineapple
D - mushroom risotto, garlic bread and roast broccoli
S - double caramel magnum, chocolate
E - 40 min Jillian Michaels DVD, jumping lesson on the horse and walk with a friend

Didn’t really have lunch as I had breakfast late and was busy over lunchtime. Came in at 1450 calories so under again which is fine by me.

Two people also commented on weight loss yesterday which was uplifting!
Today I’m going for a long run, riding and cleaning the house.
