I'm 13 stone and wood like to weigh 11!

FluffMagnet · 14/02/2020 18:57

Crikey! I'm not quite 5'8 but anything much below 11st and I look like I am verging on eating disorder territory. I was 11st exactly on the day of my wedding, and I would like to get back to somewhere between 11-11st 6lb. Thing is, one of my best friends, same height as me, is usually a good stone and a half lighter than me in the same clothes size. I swear she has completely hollow bones, and I have lead weights secreted somewhere about my person! Anyway, regardless, im a good 2st overweight at present and wishful thinking isn't making me any slimmer!

dustibooks · 14/02/2020 19:03

I'm 5'7" and currently just under 14st. My goal weight is about what you weigh, OP!

OneRingToRuleThemAll · 14/02/2020 19:16

I'm 5'7'' and have lost a stone. Currently weigh 12st 6. Still big for my frame. Would like to be 10.5 - 11 stone. That is a comfy size 10/12.

wapbapboo · 14/02/2020 21:19

I used to be 5ft 7 but it appears I am shrinking/have terrible posture as last time I had my height checked I was 5ft 5.

I look trim at 9st7 and this is always a comfortable weight that I feel good at.

There is always the temptation to lose a few more pounds e.g. 9st3 as some of the pounds are just sat on my hips.

However I have to be careful as due to my body shape - I have a long neck, broud shoulders and a smaller waist - and the fact that I very much lose weight off my face I can start to look gaunt.

So 9st5 would be a good medium, for me anyway. At the moment I am 10st5 which is also okay. I just can't fit into some of my clothes Sad.

Anything within the healthy BMI is a good weight though really.

wapbapboo · 14/02/2020 21:21

5ft5.5 I mean. That half an inch is important Grin

wapbapboo · 14/02/2020 21:22

broad shoulders

thenightsky · 14/02/2020 21:29

9 stone 9lb

ddraigygoch · 14/02/2020 21:31

10st.

mermaidbutmytailfelloff · 14/02/2020 21:39

I am 5'7" and in my early 30's was 9 stone 10. size 8 was big on me. Now i am (considerably) older I am 11 stones and think 10 and a half would be perfect, I will be around size 10/12.

FickleTickle · 14/02/2020 21:39

I'm 5ft7" and currently 137lbs. My most comfortable was at 130lbs a year ago. I can't currently muster the enthusiasm to lose those last 7 lbs but hopefully by summer they'll find somewhere else to hang out.

I aim for 126lbs but realistically haven't been there for 22 years or so. I am 48, so it's certainly not getting easier but nor is it getting any more urgent

FickleTickle · 14/02/2020 21:42

Oh interesting about size. I am a 12 normally because I have big boobs. At 133lbs the boobs are a 10. I have never ever been an 8 even though I was much thinner/lighter pre marriage and babies.

JonnyPocketRocket · 14/02/2020 21:43

I'm 5'6" and currently 9.5 stone. My ideal weight is 8.5stone but I haven't been there for about 10 years so I'm not holding out hope!

Toddlerteaplease · 14/02/2020 21:43

I'm 14st. Would like to be 12 stone.

grafittiartist · 14/02/2020 21:44

5, 7.
I'm heavy at moment at 13. 9.
Feel just right at 12.5. Rarely get under that.

Toddlerteaplease · 14/02/2020 21:44

I used to be 9st and it was a very unhealthy place to be. And I looked terrible.

wineandsunshine · 14/02/2020 21:46

I'm 5'7 and 10.3 stone...size 12. I would like to get down to just under 10 stone maybe my double chin will disappear Grin

TiptopJ · 14/02/2020 21:48

Im 5"6. At my very lightest I was 8st 4 but looking back at photos I looked I'll and had definite lollipop head. I suit anywhere between 9st 4 and 10. I'm pear shaped so any bigger and it goes on my hips and bum and emphasises my small boobs. I think the ideal weight is less about what the scales say and all about how the weight is proportioned on you.

Comps83 · 14/02/2020 21:55

I'm 5ft7 and was 9.5st for years without having to try so I want to get back to that

bumblingalonghappily · 14/02/2020 22:48

120 pounds ideally. Currently 130 having given birth quite recently and feeling all squishy. Trying my hardest to lose it in a healthy way though.

Vaper1 · 14/02/2020 22:55

9 stone without trying when I married, thirty odd year, two kids and menopause later now nearly 11. Must give up the chocolate. Still fit a size 12, but I think they are made bigger these days!

WhoEatsPopTarts · 14/02/2020 22:58

10 stone, currently 11st4lbs was 13.4 in July.

TippledPink · 14/02/2020 23:05

5ft7, currently 11st 4 having lost 12 pounds, trying to get to 10 stone. Have been 9st 10 a couple of years ago but not achievable if I want to have some enjoyment in life! I am 10/12 whether I am 10st or 12st but clothes are a bit tighter the heavier end!

thenewaveragebear1983 · 15/02/2020 07:28

I'm 5'7 and currently weigh 10.8, I'd like to be 9.13. I'm quite muscular as I run a lot and am a size 8-10 despite being the very upper end of 'normal' bmi. I occasionally tip into overweight bmi if I stop dieting for a week.

Reading a different thread this week (Highest/lowest adult weights you've been) it shows a huge difference between healthy weights for different heights (eg women weighing under 9 stone at 5'7 - I would literally be a skeleton at that weight)

Zebracat · 15/02/2020 10:55

Currently 15 stone 13. Target is 13, although I may adjust down as I get closer. I expect to be a 12-14 from an 18. I have size 42 feet and massive hands, so I know MN won’t believe me but I’m large framed and weigh heavy.
