@MozzchopsThirty would you be able to post a pic of you at 10st 1? Headless maybe. I'm just intrigued at how you look, as I'm 5ft 7 and positively skinny at 10st 1. I know we're all different, and I'm much heavier than that now, I'm just curious. Feel free to ignore/say no! Smile

MsTSwift · 19/02/2020 23:06

Same. I’ve got to 10 stone and for me visibly thin. 9 stone I can’t imagine- I would look awful!

9st 7lb. I'm currently 10st and it's getting harder as I get older!

Zoey92 · 19/02/2020 23:20

I'm 5ft 6 & my "happy" weight bracket is 10st/10st 6 I've never been in the 9st bracket, I'd have to really push myself gym and diet wise. Which made me realise that my body sits nice at that 10st or just over mark and i fit nicely into a size 10 or 8 depending obv on the shop

crummyusername · 19/02/2020 23:25

I’m 5’6” and currently 10 stone pretty much on the dot, having been more like 10 stone 5-7. I’m certainly not skinny but I would say I’m at risk now of starting to look gaunt (friend asked if I was ok) so I don’t think I’d like to weigh less, though I could definitely do with being more toned.

milkysmum · 19/02/2020 23:44

I'm 5ft 7. Always been around 9 stones for years, weight crept up to 10 1/2 a couple of years ago and I felt very over weight although appreciate I wasn't really over weight but for me felt it! Went on keto diet and got down to 8st 4lb. Crept back up to about 9 st 5lb now though I think. I think I need to get about half a stone off again as feel very bloated around the middle and clothes are all feeling very tight again.

CertieCumboyle · 19/02/2020 23:50

I am 5 foot 2 and 7 stone 8. I want to be 6 stone 11. and would be, if it weren't for wine

mistermagpie · 19/02/2020 23:50

People must be really different shapes, is all I can take from this thread.

I'm 5'8" and am currently 10 stone 4. I had a baby 12 weeks ago and this is quite heavy for me. I'm he really happy between 9-9.5 stone and in no way look 'gaunt' or like I have an eating disorder at that weight. I'm quite athletic so do look fit though.

At 11 stone I start to look a bit chubby.

user246854 · 19/02/2020 23:57

I'm 5"6 and a half and weigh 8stone 4, well did last time doctor weighed me (don't own scales) I have weighed the same for about as long as I can remember

zeddybrek · 20/02/2020 00:10

I'm 5"7 and also weigh 11st 7lbs!

Ideal, healthy and sustainable weight is 11st or slightly less for me.

I have never gone below 10st and anything below 10st 4lbs is unhealthy for me.

PhoneLock · 20/02/2020 07:13

I'm the same. I'm close to the bottom end of the healthy BMI range for my height and nobody has commented on my appearance other than to say how good I look/lucky I am etc. I've never felt better.

Gothamgirl1970 · 20/02/2020 07:19

9.10

UnexpectedItemInTheShaggingAre · 20/02/2020 07:25

I’m 5”6 and ideally I like to come in at between 8st10 and 9st6 at this weight I’m a size 8-10 occasionally 12.

Bringringbring · 20/02/2020 08:53

@user246854

Trying to weight and your weight is when I felt and looked my best

Can you tell me about your diet and exercise?

Thanks

Babyg1995 · 20/02/2020 08:58

I look my best at 10 stone I have a bum and boobs at that weight anything lower I lose my shape which I really dont like plus I like my wine and pasta too much to give it up Grin

PhoneLock · 20/02/2020 09:43

@Bringringbring

If it helps, I'm the same height as user246854 although slightly lighter. Exercise is usually three circuit and one heavy weight sessions per week. As for diet, I'm an omnivore. Food is all prepared from scratch and I don't generally eat snacks. I do like a few crisps with a drink at the weekend though. Takeaways are rare as we live in the sticks.

Cary2012 · 20/02/2020 10:12

We're all so different, aren't we?
I am 5'8" and weigh 10 stone. Size 10. Don't want to weigh any less because I'd look a bit scrawny (am an older laydee!)
Weighed under 9 stone in my twenties and thirties and was a size 10 then also, but this was when sizes were much smaller.
Weighed nearly 14 stone until last May, when I started to diet. Was a size 18 at my heaviest.
Fascinating thread.

Mamabear12 · 20/02/2020 10:21

I’m close to 5’8 and weight 10.2 stone and my ideal is 9.2 stone. I had a baby two months ago, so working on what is my pre pregnancy weight. This is my third child and hoping the weight comes off like it did with the other two.

I have not started exercising other then walking. And haven’t really been trying much w diet either. But I think it’s time to start.

mistermagpie · 20/02/2020 11:15

Mama we're about the same, my ideal is around 9.2. I've also just had baby number three but the weight came off after the other two so I know I can do it again.

user246854 · 20/02/2020 12:20

Bringringbring I'm just extremely luckily that my natural build is small boned, I don't really have a waist as such, long limb.

My diet is rubbish I don't eat veg, salad or fruit and I don't exercise as such though my job is a sens 1to1 so always-on the move

When pregnant I don't get very big just belly and found after all four of my pregnancies the weight just came off on its own within a few month

I'm now 40 so expect things will start to catch up with me soon

onemouseplace · 20/02/2020 12:23

5 ft 7 here and currently 14 st.

I've had 9st 7 as my ideal weight all my adult life. I'd give anything to be 10st 13 again now which I sat at for years and thought I was enormous then.

Sparrowlegs248 · 20/02/2020 16:17

@onemouseplace I'm much the same. I first joined weight watchers when I was 11st 3. I was horrified at going over (or anywhere near) 11st. Looking back, I was really still slim at that weight.

Mintjulia · 20/02/2020 16:20

I’m 10st2 and would like to be 9st10. I’m 5’7”

It gets easier as the weather gets warmer Smile

NotJust3SmallWords · 20/02/2020 16:30

I'm currently 16 stone. I'd like to get to 14 stone in the short term as that was my weight when I got married last year and I think I looked good then. My clothes are that little bit tighter at the moment!

As a longer term goal 12 stone would be good.
