Sigh, weight this morning was 12s3lb, but then my period started at work, so maybe that is to blame and not all the stodgy food last night?!

Will update food and steps later.

lifelongfrugaleer · 03/02/2020 18:35

Steps tick
Full body workout tick
Calories tick
Fibre tick
Protein X

To many biscuits (again) tick x5

Not2bObvious · 03/02/2020 18:37

All bets are during your period curvy, dunno about you but I get serious belly bloat & bunged up, sorry for tmi.
Over 16,500 steps, v busy running around. I’ve only eaten 1100 cals so far, time for a little something nice 😋

OP posts:
CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 03/02/2020 19:54

Ahh not, as in you can't go to the toilet?

Not2bObvious · 03/02/2020 19:58

Yep, but I’m a sluggish of bowel person at the best of times so nothing new for me!
I’ve eaten 1500 of my 1700 and I’m torn as to whether to eat the last 200. I did a lot of steps today and the worry is I might go loopy tomorrow and eat all the food if I restrict too much. Hmmmm

OP posts:
CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 03/02/2020 20:17

Em yes can't really go properly for the first couple of days, but then kind of get 'period poo'.
I'm so sorry, but don't really know how else to say it! Luckily (I think so anyway), I've been able to talk about this with my friends and my eldest daughter to make it more normal.
I think that as women we get a bad rep and I don't want my girls thinking that there is something wrong with their bodies and I know we are all different and that some women may be completely fine when its totm, but many of my friends and my family are not.
I just think we need to stop all the taboo.

I apologise if I've offended anyone x

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 03/02/2020 22:18

Oh no, hope I haven't killed the thread!

But in case I haven't...
Steps 16246
B- coffee, 2 lotus biscuits and a hazelnut bar.
L- I forgot my lunch at home, but made good choices in co-op, fake duck protein pot, creamy coconut cauliflower curry, water and then another coffee, but with extra sugar.
D- salad of lettuce, toms, cucumber, red pepper, carrot, black and green olives, beetroot and hummus and crackers.
Then had some coconut yogurt that I added blueberries to.

northender · 03/02/2020 23:45

Quick check in. Circuits class tonight & did well with eating today. Went out for a meal with friends tonight & chose chicken breast in a tomato sauce with olives & capers, ate with a big pile of veg, was delish, avoided pizza/pasta.

lifelongfrugaleer · 04/02/2020 06:28

I get poo issues at totm. Much more bunged up.

Not2bObvious · 04/02/2020 08:10

Totally agree curvy, it’s so sad that it’s still a bit taboo, my teen dies of embarrassment when I bring her home sanpro. Keep trying to drum into her it’s nothing to be ashamed of. This attitude meant I had undiagnosed mild endometriosis all my life, if I’d realised some things weren’t “normal” I’d have been much better off.
In the new today in the 159’s....woohoo! What was that again about trying not to care too much about the scales haha

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 04/02/2020 08:19

Woo hoo only 5 lbs to a new stone bracket not Wink

Sts today 4th day in a row, must be due a drop soon Hmm

9 cals over yesterday & had a Cadbury's fruit & bar & a solero exotic, only under on protein & fibre by 8g each dinner was a ready meal in the car, a John west lunch thing, was quite nice. On offer in Dunnes at €2.

Had meatless company sausages in sausage sandwich this morning 16g protein in 2, they were reduced to 87c for the pack, that's why they were purchased. Really good sausage texture though & taste.

Not2bObvious · 04/02/2020 08:47

Actually 5.8 to the next stone but who’s counting happier😉 Only just into the 159’s but what a lift, last time I saw this was one day in September and then before that June! You’re definitely due a drop if you’re seeing sts so many days.
I’m doing a thing where I X the days I stick to cals, and O the days I don’t on my calendar. So far for Feb it’s all X’s, of course the fact it’s 3 days might have something to do with it! Bit of a mini challenge to get mostly X’s for the month

Happierwithouthim · 04/02/2020 09:31

That's not a bad idea not

the sweets on the table at table quiz corrections on Sunday definitely sent my over my cals Grin

lifelongfrugaleer · 04/02/2020 11:13

Well that's my day gone to pot as had breakfast on a&e while DS being observed for a head injury. He's fine. I've a carb based dinner planned as was going to protein other meals. Will most likely end up over calories too.
No steps or fbw either

Happierwithouthim · 04/02/2020 12:11

Could you change up your dinner? Or are you looking forward to it?

That's the two dc injured this week?

Ds had a collison between his face and the floor at a birthday party on Sunday, he's fine bar a few scratches and his teeth hurting.

Not2bObvious · 04/02/2020 14:08

Glad your son is ok life, that must have been worrying. I totally fall apart if anything happens my pair, I go straight to panic. Outside of them I’m pretty good in a crisis (prob only in my opinion!)
If you’d have seen me Friday when himself brought in a tub of celebrations, I’d say I’d have given anyone a run for their money happier - I had been doing the X/O thing since mid last week so a few O’s in their hence me moving the goalposts to Feb

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 04/02/2020 14:36

I told them I'd only help out next year if the sweets were removed from the table Grin

lifelongfrugaleer · 04/02/2020 16:09

In going to come in on calories but that's about it.
Yes both in accidents this week.

ChristmasSeacow · 04/02/2020 18:28

Two shortbread biscuits ‘fell’ into my mouth yesterday and took me off plan. Weighing in tonight, not sure I’ve lost anything this week, if the home scales are anything to go by. I’ll know in about an hour!

I made low fat falafel for lunch today. It was exceedingly garlicky so now I am a bit stinky Blush

Not2bObvious · 04/02/2020 18:46

Keep us updated and best of luck!
Just finished dinner & attempting to hold off munching for a few minutes at least. Around 350 cals left

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 04/02/2020 19:06

Love loads of garlic. I made cake with DS and used up some lemon, blueberry and dried cranberries in cake and short bread. 126 over

Doing steps but it's a grind

Good luck sea

Happierwithouthim · 04/02/2020 20:04

I'm 78 cals over because ds brought me a choc bar to have after my soup for dinner, his little face, I couldn't refuse to eat it.

I'm 10g over on fibre maybe that'll balance it out Grin

Not2bObvious · 04/02/2020 20:09

I’m 18 cals under - don’t know what I could spend it on, half a mandarin maybe😂
Another X on the calendar as long as I get into bed soon.

Hi all just quickly posting to say that the slimming world podcasts are now officially sponsored by them!
I had a look on their Instagram and they were celebrating!
The two women look lovely, but not at all how I pictured them!

Be back later.

Not2bObvious · 04/02/2020 20:19

I actually listened to that podcast yesterday curvy, they’ve been saying for a few weeks they had news. Good for them, they put a lot into it
