Life, definitely take it easy and listen to your body. Health is wealth!

Not2bObvious · 13/04/2020 19:05

I’m really just an all round glutton curvy 😉
Take it slow life, maybe 1900-2100 for a few days. Then drop a bit when you’re back to full health.
Input my food up to dinner and it’s 1400, I’ll probably have another 250 maybe?

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 13/04/2020 19:25

Ahh Not I will join you in the gluttony 😉
I literally could eat my own body weight in food every day!

Happierwithouthim · 13/04/2020 19:48

Life mine !! I got sunburnt together though so our weathers slight better than yours Grin

Dinner has been a wrap pizza & some leftover actifry chips from yesterday

Happierwithouthim · 13/04/2020 19:52

Life don't be too hard on yourself getting back to normal

Water & fibre are the things I'm going to concentrate on for the moment

Not2bObvious · 13/04/2020 19:52

Just over 1700, so saved a 100. Teeth brushed so kitchen closed. Did you get burnt today happier? Lovely and sunny here today but v chilly. Saturday was amazing

Happierwithouthim · 13/04/2020 19:53

Not2bObvious · 13/04/2020 20:33

Back to work (from home that is!) tomorrow. So plan will be up for walkie talkie, then walk before lunch. Short week at least.

lifelongfrugaleer · 13/04/2020 20:36

Bloody freezing here and cloudy.
9500 steps so not great. I'm ok. Just trying to not wallow in regret at bad choices. But I really couldn't face much else.
It will be off by the summer release.

Not2bObvious · 14/04/2020 07:21

Braved the sad step and dropped the 3lb from the takeaway on Saturday. Still up overall. Awake since 5, up at 6 and around 4,200 steps so far. I was baking as well so didn’t quite get as many as I would have hoped. Starting work at 9 so I have some time to squeeze in a few more but tbh I just want to sit on my arse

OP posts:
Wolfcub · 14/04/2020 07:28

Up 1lb. Easter has caught up with me

lifelongfrugaleer · 14/04/2020 08:19

1/2 down.
Bugger all steps so far but going for a walk later.

Happierwithouthim · 14/04/2020 17:49

My scales is saying 165.1 from 162.2 most of last week so I'm holding out for tomorrow in the hope of a drop.

Out for a walk with dog now

lifelongfrugaleer · 14/04/2020 18:34

Nice view.
I'm feeling quite bloated. Only 8k steps today. Greening tired though as well

lifelongfrugaleer · 14/04/2020 18:34

Feeling not greening

Not2bObvious · 14/04/2020 19:19

That looks amazing happier. I hear you on the holding out, my scales is like an abuser, periodically sends me into great fear with scary messages! It’ll all come good, I’m sure you’re not going to your ends and it’s all temporary

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 14/04/2020 20:18

Somewhere around 1600 calories today. Didn't track dinner very well. Not make 10k steps but I'm all good as I know in still not better and something is better than nothing.

Defo a drop brewing there happier

Happierwithouthim · 14/04/2020 20:24

I'm sure the 33k steps I've done since yesterday morn so hopefully they'll have some effect.

Instant pot soup for second meal of day at 7pm, will see about dinner later I'm not fussed yet

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 14/04/2020 22:27

Lovely view happier.
Weight is coming back down, so that is good, hoping to get back down to previous weight in a few days.

lifelongfrugaleer · 15/04/2020 07:00

Down today. Marginally.

Hit calories and fibre yesterday. That's it. Ah well.

LaneBoy · 15/04/2020 07:03

Hiya, signing in if you’ll have me? :o
Finally managing to lose weight - 1.5st down since the first Monday in January. Trying to really focus on it now and would be nice to do that among frugal friends :o

Not2bObvious · 15/04/2020 07:11

You’re very welcome laneboy, that’s a serious loss, well done. You’ll have to share what you did - always interesting to get insight from successful folk.
Drank some wine and ate an Easter egg last night. Not sure how much I went over calories and I haven’t weighed myself yet but I won’t be shocked by a flux. Did an hours walkie talkie so on 6,000 steps. Going back to bed for a bit, have to go shopping for parent at 9am - not looking forward to that. Don’t need anything for ourselves so hoping it’ll be in & out. Unfortunately the parent is set on what they like so I have to go to a specific shop. Not in the the humour for the fear factor about shops

Not2bObvious · 15/04/2020 07:33

As suspected, scale jump. Ffs

Errrm well. I can’t exactly take credit for it all. 😳 Basically I was diagnosed in November with ADHD (inattentive type - I am not one to rush around :o). The medication is helping in many ways and one of those is that I don’t crave sugar and caffeine so much anymore (cravings are common in ADHD because you need a dopamine hit, as you don’t have enough yourself). Coupled with the fact I’m able to be less impulsive I am finding it easier to make good decisions as well so even when I do have cravings I’m not acting on them as much, and am more able to cook decent lunches etc because my head isn’t so much of a mess. So I’m trying, but also now my brain has a better balance I’m also more able to try if that makes sense.

Full disclosure, I also lost 5lb the week I had a/the virus as I couldn’t eat for days! I managed not to put it back on though which surprised me.

I’m finding it harder again at the moment - boredom really doesn’t help does it?! It was easier when I had various things to go to, had to walk down to town a lot etc. I’m not quite managing much exercise yet either as I’m still pretty weak (I have ME and the virus caused a bit of a flare up) but hopefully when I can I’ll speed up the loss a bit!

Easter chocolate not helping either of course 😳
