Woo 20k no wonder you napped Grin

lifelongfrugaleer · 08/04/2020 07:24

I managed the heady heights of 7k steps yesterday. Best for 10 days.

I will be back properly when I feel better. Still reading though

Not2bObvious · 08/04/2020 07:26

Stupid nap ruined my sleep though, awake since 4.30am. But that’s probably more my back acting up and I seem to have randomly got totm in the middle of my pill cycle. Strange but it could my endometriosis acting up? I don’t know, trying not to be worried. Did an hours walkie talkie, now contemplating weekly shop. Have to get elderly parents stuff too, so that’s shopping & chemist. Technically working but not a lot to do so that won’t take up a lot of time

That’s good life when you’re not feeling well. Hope you feel better as the week goes on.
Forgot to say, down .4 - so my average is still up .5 with 4 weigh ins to go. Promised kids a takeaway tonight but not sure if there’s anywhere to get a takeaway from

Half a pound off. Life, Happier, Not well done on the steps, Life keep looking after yourself. Good to see you Curvy. I've become a bit of an infrequent visitor over here I need to get my act together. Doing the squat challenge every day and Pilates twice a week while at home plus 1 hour walks between two and four times a week

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 08/04/2020 15:58

Wolf well done on the activities!
I need to get back to it.

On YouTube there is a thing called groove and that got me and dd moving yesterday, you dance in all the space you have, I can see us doing it lots.
Loads of videos on YouTube so no need to sign up.

Down .2 - now only .1 above last weeks average of 163. Got just over 14,500 yesterday and didn’t get up for the 6am walkie talkie today - too tired. 57 steps so far today haha
Need to plan my weekend food after my big shop

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 09/04/2020 09:24

Me too not.
In going to eat all my Easter chocolate by Sunday. Monday will be restart day as feeling better each day so hopefully by then will be fit again.

Not2bObvious · 09/04/2020 09:42

Glad you’re starting to feel better life
Have you much Easter chocolate? I probably went way over for the kids but wanted them to have something nice what with losing their holiday & the madness of this situation. Probably said already I’ve set aside one small egg for me, the challenge will be to stick to it. Bigger one wants to bake an Easter cake & I’ll have to sample that. Last one was around 300 cals a slice, this one will defo be worse judging by the planning. It’s all about weight management this weekend. Would love a small lose (would love a big one more haha!)

DD wants to make a rainbow cake as party of her food tech.
I have a bar and half of Aldi chocolate at 190 Cal per portion. 5 portions in a bar. I can easily polish a bar off

Not2bObvious · 09/04/2020 10:34

I love the Aldi chocolate with the almonds in, its not safe around me.
Very hungry this morning, trying to fight the urge to eat with a coffee and hope to get walking soon so I can drag myself out until 1pm to eat. Can’t afford snacks if I want to stick to my calories today

lifelongfrugaleer · 09/04/2020 10:43

That's the one not. Also the just milk one....mmmmmmm

Not2bObvious · 09/04/2020 10:51

Ooh I love that one, the chocolate is just so rich & more’ish
Really have to drag myself off this bed, so lazy!

Hi everyone, please can I join? Over the past two years I’ve gained 10kg and my clothes are starting to feel a bit tight. My plan is to slowly go back to my original weight or at the very least stop gaining!

Not2bObvious · 10/04/2020 09:29

Of course you can rosie, it’s easy for it to creep considering we only need to eat an extra 100 cals a day over what we need to gain around a pound/.5 kg a month.
I’m back up to 163, so my average is still .1 over last week with 2 weigh ins to go and a weekend of nice food planned. My pattern does seem to follow, week 1 on plan ok loss, week 2 on plan mostly minor gain or maintain. Then week 3 I go mad haha!
Up early doing a walkie talkie, nearly got my 10,000

Guys I'm so glad I didn't read this thread this morning with all the talk of Aldi chocolate. I spent 10 mins in Dunnes queue this morning, calculated that I'd be queuing for possibly one hour or maybe longer and put back my trolley and went to aldi, no queue there but there was a small one of about 15 people when I came out. I didn't buy any Aldi chocolate. Also love those bars Grin
Haven't shopped in Aldi for quite a while so spent a lot, mostly healthy.

We've been baking a lot, and I didn't go for a decent walk since Tues. still at 50k steps so far.
It's raining here now but I'm feeling guilty that the dog hasn't been out at all today, will see after a while.

Weigh in down 0.2lbs, I'll possibly see half lb loss this week.

Happierwithouthim · 10/04/2020 17:36

Welcome Rosie

Rosie38 · 10/04/2020 19:19

Thanks for the welcomes. Well done on your early morning walk Not!

I’m really struggling to get my steps at minute, all the footpaths near me are really busy. I went for a bike ride this morning instead of a walk so I’m only on 3,000 steps.

Happier what have you been baking? I love baking, I’m making mini egg cookie bars tomorrow.

lifelongfrugaleer · 10/04/2020 19:48

Welcome Rosie.

In going to get back on track Sunday or Monday. Going for kill or cure...

Happierwithouthim · 10/04/2020 20:01

Rosie this is wed/thurs efforts - end of fridge soup, brown scones, spinach pancakes, cookies, upside down peach cake.

Just popping on to say hi and welcome Rosie.

Went shopping today, got mostly everything I needed.
Most people were observing the social distancing rules.
'Saw' my friend when I was out too, we had a conversation across the road, it was so lovely to see her, but incredibly sad that I couldn't give her a hug. But we all need to observe the rules.

Not2bObvious · 11/04/2020 07:32

I saw a neighbour the other day & ended up chatting at a 10 foot distance for around 30 minutes. I miss the outside world 😔
We’re on another 3 weeks of the same here, maybe I should start a 3 week plan. Scales up .8 today so now my gain is likely to be in the .2-.4 range if tomorrow’s weight is in the same 163-164’ish. Could be worse.
No early morning walk, at 80,000 steps so far for the week so taking a rest

Rosie38 · 11/04/2020 07:39

They look great Happier, they’re a lot healthier than something I’d come up with.

I ended yesterday 110 calories under target. I’m using MFP to track, I’ve set my target to maintain because I know if I set it to lose my calories will be too low and I’ll give in.

Off for a walk now, I hope there aren’t too many people out yet.
