Well done wolf

lifelongfrugaleer · 31/03/2020 11:25

Stepping while in the pharmacy queue

Not2bObvious · 31/03/2020 11:34

Nice one wolf, down 1lb so my weekend poundage gone too.
Up at 7.30 stepping, that & a walk around the block has me nearly at 10,000 - only 5,000 to go

Spamalot reported. Again!

Not2bObvious · 31/03/2020 18:47

Just over 14,500 so a little jog on the spot should get me easily to target. Just under 300 cals left cause of a busy day, hmmm what to spend them on 🤔

lifelongfrugaleer · 31/03/2020 20:05

9300 here. Was doing really well until tea time. Feel like bleurgh though and ttom double joy.
Did some weights today too though

Not2bObvious · 31/03/2020 21:19

I was very close to not getting those last few steps, and I know it wouldn’t be the end of the world but it feels important to follow through so I got out of bed & got it done. In bed hiding from big child, sick of being attacked/harangued and argued with about food. So in escaping her, I’ve left myself with 300 cals. Bit hungry though😫

Down 1.4 today, I know it doesn’t keep up like this but it’s a bit of a lift. Up at 7 stepping and doing my hand weights & squats. Just over 6,000 steps, decent start on the day.
How’s everyone else getting on?

lifelongfrugaleer · 02/04/2020 06:39

I'm not feeling well at all so eating to my appetite. Only managed 5k steps yesterday too

Wolfcub · 02/04/2020 08:14

Life, hope you start to feel better soon. Sts again which is a miracle as I hit the chocolate last night.

Pilates, squats and lunges yesterday. I'm going to try and do the squats challenge

Not2bObvious · 02/04/2020 08:28

Feel better soon life, listen to your body

Down .2 today, tried squats this morning but my back is rebelling so I’ll have to be super careful. Can’t afford a slip

Sorry to hear life is unwell not's older child is being a pain
wolf had chocolate I don't have any in luckily Grin

At 40k steps so far this week and haven't gone for walk with dc or by myself yet today.
Dc are with their dad from mid afternoon tomo until Sunday 6pm, that's when lockdown is going to get extremely hard

Not2bObvious · 03/04/2020 08:28

Nice to hear from you happier, sorry you’ll miss the kids while they’re away. Mine are up & down, not surprising considering the way things are. Both sad that holiday was cancelled but understand (to a degree) why. That’s fair enough, they don’t have to always see the reasons and accept. Trying to do things up cheer them up, few treats, bit of baking, movie nights etc.
Scales showing the .2 down is back up but since I started the week at 164.8, and I’m now 162.4, that’s good going. Just in time to f**k it up over the weekend - haha

Hi all, just going to catch up from here.

I was really poorly, body aching all over, high temp and coughing, which is still happening! Also had confusion and felt very light headed.
A bit better today, first day since Monday that I haven't had a temp.

Sorry to hear you are unwell life, get well soon.
Happier, that will be tough without the kids, could you do some reading or batch cooking. Or just watch a funny series on TV?
Wolf well done on the loss and then maintaining.
Not, poor kids, hope they will cheer up soon. Well done on your loss too.
Flowers for you all x

Happierwithouthim · 03/04/2020 14:43

Well they're not going, apparently he's got blood poisoning from bite on his arm and has to go to hospital, but could still work today Hmm

Curvy can't batch cook as nowhere to store it freezer is tiny Sad

Just bought more flour for all our baking. Dc had pancakes twice yesterday. I've been wanting to bake brown bread so bought wholemeal flour today.

Scales is up & down

Sorry to hear you're unwell curvy

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 03/04/2020 14:54

Ahh, yes sorry happier, I remember you said you had a tiny freezer. Could you double cook mince/fish/lentil/other meat today and make it into another meal tomorrow. I usually cook the mince (vegan one for me), have shepherd's pie, then use the other bit for spag bol or tacos the next day. Do you have room in your fridge for that?
Do you have popcorn kennels? The kids could make popcorn on the stove?

Not2bObvious · 03/04/2020 15:13

So sorry you’re unwell curvy, that sounds very nasty altogether.
Maybe it’s a silver lining happier, if he’s able to work, he’s mixing with the outside world, at least you know exactly who your kids have been in contact with. That probably sounds dramatic but with this lockdown in place, maybe it’s for the best? On the bread baking, I believe from some keen bakers that you shouldn’t just use wholemeal, mix some white in too otherwise it can be dreadfully heavy and nearly inedible but not sure of the ratio apart from more white than you’d think. I made white soda bread last week, pretty decent!

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 03/04/2020 15:52

Thanks Not, I'm hoping to be better soon. I'm just glad I did some batch cooking at the weekend, it has made things easier this week, all I had to do was get stuff out of the freezer.

Not2bObvious · 03/04/2020 16:18

You were your future friend for sure, I’m having one of my frozen Indian meals tonight. Often try do extra to freeze for another day.
That sucks about the small freezer happier, I have small chest freezer as well as my normal one. I’d be lost without it

OP posts:
CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 03/04/2020 22:32

Not was your Indian good? Do you do it spicy? I can't handle lots of heat, but would like to build up my tolerance to it, but just can't seem to, I'm definitely a lightweight, haha!

Not2bObvious · 04/04/2020 08:40

I do like it spicy, and I like heat too. But I’m probably a wuss really! It was nice enough, very tender beef after being slow cooked, and I think the freezing does something to the depth of flavour too. Probably my imagination!
Up by .6, but average coming down nicely overall. Been up since 5.30 baking/cooking etc. Two dinners cooked for another day, a soda loaf and cakes made too. Even cooked my breakfast makings😬 Bit wrecked now though, got just under 4,500 steps. Only managed 10,000 as my back is bothering me but I feel a bit more able today.
You feeling any better curvy? And life, you ok?

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 04/04/2020 09:48

Wrung out dish cloth here. For the first time in 2 years I didn't weigh in this morning. Not as much joint ache today though. DH is on about going for a long walk and the thought makes me wanna lie on the sofa.
Which isn't me at all as I love outdoors and walking. .

Check out your productivity not

Not2bObvious · 04/04/2020 10:07

It sounds like you’re really run down life, you poor thing. I hope you feel better soonFlowers
I’m obsessed with not wasting anything at the minute, and since I couldn’t sleep with my back, said f’it may as well make the most of it. It can all go dramatically downhill from here of course.

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 04/04/2020 10:52

I think I am. Have upped the vitamins as well. Just gotta rest and get better. Which is easier said than done. But I've got in shape before and will again after this.
