Yes, reverse says do 10k steps to build muscle. It's fine.

Great going happier

lifelongfrugaleer · 12/03/2020 21:22

500 over today but having a hungry day.

Not2bObvious · 12/03/2020 21:48

Over a bit too, first day this week. Teen is losing her sh*t for a changeHmm Do not know why I think me overeating will help cause clearly it doesn’t but there you go, can lead someone to water but can’t make them drink. Pain in my face. Schools shut here for 2 weeks, meant to be away the week after but who knows might have to cancel with all that’s going on.

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 13/03/2020 06:12

How you gonna copies with the school closure?

I think no one will be away at Easter.

Up today.

Not2bObvious · 13/03/2020 07:31

We’ll manage, at least mine aren’t babies. My heart goes out to people with small children & don’t have family that can help. The stress of it. Queues in shops yesterday were unreal.
Just checked I can cancel my hotel up to 7 days before, no cost & 50% cost for a no show. Need to check flights. Scary world.

Happierwithouthim · 13/03/2020 08:10

Up 1.8lbs this morning Shock it's a very topsy turvy week at the scales for me Grin

Event we're going to is cancelled, we could've cancelled hotel for free last night but decided to go and keep our distance from others

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 13/03/2020 11:12

Thanks north.

You guys all so wonderful, it means a lot to me so thank you all xx.

I have a day off today, so had a cooked breakfast of vegan sausages, scrambled tofu, mushrooms and tomatoes, was very filling, has set me up for a day of shopping!
Already 10,000 steps, not too shabby!

Not2bObvious · 13/03/2020 17:05

Wow 10,000 steps at 11am, that’s excellent. I’ve been marching on the spot for ages, 500 to go to hit my min 10,000
So worked this morning in my office, but home this afternoon and avoiding going out - hence the stepping. Irony is it’s a lovely afternoon. Ahh well, I’ll get off for a good walk tomorrow

Over calories. Steps and fbw done

Wolfcub · 14/03/2020 08:06

2lb off. Not sure how. Possibly in snot Envy(not envy)

northender · 14/03/2020 08:16

I decided to skip the scales this week. On the negative side, pil are here and so we've had more meals out & wine in the evening which I wouldn't usually do in the week. On the plus side, I haven't let things spiral and have kept to a good eating routine (even if eating too much pastry, chips etc!) and have maintained my exercise level. A year, or even a few months ago that would not have been the case.
Having lunch at a cafe today, but have looked at the menu and there are good choices to be had. Doing curry for tonight which will be okay.

northender · 14/03/2020 08:17

Positive side effect of feeling lousy wolf!

Not2bObvious · 14/03/2020 08:26

Got a bit over 11,000 yesterday, and only a little over calories which was good as had a friend over for dinner. Early enough to bed & not too much vino. Biggest win yesterday was I managed to last from lunch to dinner with no snacking.
Congrats on the 2lb wolf - don’t want to address the snot thought😂

Still tired with sinus infection here & can't walk dog thanks to her spaying during the week & I haven't walked without her Blush

Monkfish curry last night, heaped with veggies

Away for hotel break tonight with friend, she's also an ex unislim leader so we won't binge Grin

It's a miserable day

Happierwithouthim · 14/03/2020 15:50

Sts today -0.1 for the week

lifelongfrugaleer · 15/03/2020 07:05

Massive salt spike from Chinese food and chocolate. Was lovely.

Going to the gym today. Will walk to the village to drop some stuff too the scout hut.

Not2bObvious · 15/03/2020 09:23

Love chinese, but I see it on the scales for days.
Just back from a long walk, over 12,000. Bloody starving, had my Linda sausage & slice of toast but have now grazed another 200 cals. Should have just made another slice of toast with an egg. Can’t get the heat into me

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 15/03/2020 12:02

Hi all.

Met my friend for coffee yesterday and did 12,273 steps.
Food yesterday
B - Soya yogurt with strawberries, apple and a satsuma with brazil and almonds sprinkled on top.
L - Vegan cheese and ham toastie and some red onion, a banana and a pear.
D- Oven chips, Linda McCarthy red onion sausages and beans.
S - 2 lotus biscuits an apple and some mango.

Did a bit of exercise this morning, will be going out in a bit to wanstead park/epping forest with the youngest for a kick about and hopefully the bluebells will be out!

Hope you all have a lovely Sunday.

Not2bObvious · 15/03/2020 19:19

Just ordered a chinese - no scales, no scare! Big eating day, however lots of cals banked at the start of the week or that’s my thinking. Day 3 of social distancing & long way to go I reckon

OP posts:
CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 15/03/2020 20:16

Not hope you enjoyed your chinese?
Steps today 13813
Food
B - Mushrooms, tomatoes and red onion on toast, coffeex2.
L - Soya yogurt with strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, satsuma and an apple. A banana and nuts and seeds. Water.
D - Sweet potato jackets, vegan cheese and a huge salad, got leftovers for work tomorrow.

Not2bObvious · 16/03/2020 05:58

I did thanks curvy, although after putting everything in mfp, it was a scary amount of cals. Pushed my average daily cals up to 2,000 a day, so scales or no scales I doubt I’d see any loss from last week. Must pull out my special jeans, they’ve not an ounce of stretch and are good for gauging weight around my middle. Better nip this piggy ness in the bud or I’ll roll out of this situation.
Supposed to be off work today but considering the way things are here, I’ll do some wfh if required. Hope to go back asleep though for a bit

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 16/03/2020 06:37

I've lost my way a little and I'm not sure what to do.

I totally lose it on a weekend which I need to address. The scales are 2-3lb up on my lowest. I'm ok how I am more off is always nice but not needed.
Going to attempt to eradicate the binge at weekends. And stick to 1800 this week and decide.

Not2bObvious · 16/03/2020 07:14

I’ve come to the conclusion that even in my most dedicated periods, I over eat at weekends sometimes to the point of near binge. I class an overeat as up to 2,500, a near binge is up to 3,500
After that I reckon I’m in binge category. Maybe my limits are too generous?
Anyway it didn’t seem to matter what I had or didn’t have during the week, I always overdo it at least one day on the weekend. So I’m trying to bank a bit to allow for that as I go along. Pretty much like “normal”, eat to survive during the week, splurge a bit on weekends.
And as we say every Monday, scales flux is bloat and water/back to normal food will see it off by Wednesday.

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 16/03/2020 07:31

Pizza bloat here this morning up 2lbs, I'm not inputting it into mfp.

I enjoyed it and didn't go crazy at the weekend, no dessert, no pastries from buffet breakfast. No rubbish snacking last night. I didn't drink enough water because of driving. 750ml was consumed over Sat/Sun so way off.

Symprove has my digestive system all over the place too Grin

lifelongfrugaleer · 16/03/2020 18:47

Damnit due to a cluster fuck I didn't get to the gym today. Now not going to get until God knows when.
Need to dig out DH weight and brush the spiders off. Will do lots of steps on the spot and made up weights for the next few weeks
