Kitchen closed, second day under 1500, ice increased my cals to 1800 since I came back from my holidays. Which is 12 x my interim goal weight of 150

Thanks. Yes lots of stress leading to to interview and after.
Just scoffed a whole bag of caramel buttons 780 calories and finished off the pop out crisps. Xx calories.

I don't care.

Not2bObvious · 10/03/2020 22:06

Yummy, celebratory buttons - no calories! The stress and adrenaline will burn them off

So hi!
Hope you are all keeping well?
I've had a couple of busy weeks, dd2 had another different seizure, I found her upstairs asleep on the floor, I just thought she fell out of bed, but when I tried helping her up she was unresponsive so that is when I realised she probably had a seizure. She had wet herself so that was another clue and when I helped/ half dragged her to the bathroom she vomited, was making deliberate movements, the same thing over and over, and didn't remember anything, she was ok afterwards, but exhausted. We have a MRI booked for next month and they want to do a sleep EEG, but still waiting to hear about that.
Her medication has been increased too.

So didn't really sleep for a few nights.

SW is going ok, all the people are lovely, I didn't lose any weight the first week, (but did maintain), but it was totm, so that is probably why. Went tonight and I've lost 2.5lbs this week, and I'm happy with that.

I have weighed myself at home too but because I would do it in the morning and be naked I was getting rather cross with myself when the scales said something different at night (I know, stupid! Of course I knew they would be different!), so I didn't weigh for a few days and was shocked that I had lost that amount tonight.

Not2bObvious · 11/03/2020 04:37

Oh my curvy, your poor little girl, poor you - how terrifying. No wonder you haven’t been sleeping, you must be living on your nerves. I hope the increased meds help herFlowers

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 11/03/2020 06:16

Aww thanks not, yes the meds seem to be helping, she hasn't had another one.
Just have to hopeful that it will stay that way.

lifelongfrugaleer · 11/03/2020 06:23

Oh my gosh curvy. Big hugs to you and your DD.
Check your out all that and still 2.5 down.
Amazeballs. ..

Sts today. Therre will be a scone in my life today so will adjust accordingly

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 11/03/2020 06:27

Thanks life, she is doing ok, it's the not knowing really, that is playing on my mind.

lifelongfrugaleer · 11/03/2020 06:35

I can't even begin to imagine. We are here for you curvy. X
Don't Dr Google

Happierwithouthim · 11/03/2020 06:52

Will catch up when I get to work drop of 0.9lbs this morning or 3.4lbs if I was to count yesterday's flux which I didn't record as it was just bloat.

Happierwithouthim · 11/03/2020 09:08

Went over by 53 cals yesterday, had the most fabulous chicken satay for dinner, just delicious. And best of all I knew it was low in cals. Subbie at work has just given me a lovely monkfish tail so going to have that tomorrow evening I think.

not it's a probiotic. I follow superstylesabby on instagram and she swears that it has had a huge effect on her mental health. I promised myself when house sold I'd get it, it's €100 a month, but buy 2 months get one free. there was 20% off a couple of weeks ago so I bought one month for €80, I'll see how I go, you have to buy the 3 months within 12 weeks to get the last month free. It's sold by meaghers pharmacy who also supply revive active which has been life changing for me so I figured I'd give this a shot too. I know I've taken it though in the morning, like my tummy feels different.

Just worked out my cals using your titbit there & it was 1596, I'm on 1600 Grin

curvy that's so worrying about your dd plus when you're on your own there's no one to share the load either. Hopefully the increased meds will help and that investigation will figure out why she's having more frequent seizures. Well done on the weight loss too with all that going on.

Scrambled egg on toast with avocado for breakfast
Protein yogurt with kiwi skin on at 10am
Chicken Satay with Pilau Rice and an orange for lunch

Haven't thought about dinner yet. I might make carbonara because I don't want to over do rice, had it for lunch & dinner yesterday and again for lunch today.

Not2bObvious · 11/03/2020 11:00

I must measure my waist today, don’t know where I am with no scales. Nice loss happier, yum for monkfish. I’m having a real kids dinner, sausage & chips - albeit Linda sausages. Very low on steps today, it’ll be a grind to even get 10,000 - working in 2 places today so lots of driving, got to do food shop. And my house is a cesspit, I need to deep clean after work tomorrow

I finally ordered my fitbit charger, it'll be another week before I have it. Hate not knowing what steps I'm doing

lifelongfrugaleer · 11/03/2020 11:53

Titbit Grin

Happierwithouthim · 11/03/2020 12:53

I typed in tidbit and thought I was wrong Hmm

Not2bObvious · 11/03/2020 15:04

Apparently both are fine 😬

lifelongfrugaleer · 11/03/2020 17:42

Both are great. My purile/juvenile humour.

Not2bObvious · 11/03/2020 20:45

Managed to get my 10,000 minimum, some days it’s easy peasy, other days it’s a grind. Bit hungry tonight, I think I’ve about 200 left and in 2 minds whether I bank them or binge them. I think I’ll try ignore the pangs, it’s mental hunger not physical

OP posts:
CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 11/03/2020 21:31

Thanks Happier, yeah I think it is more stressful without another adult to share the load. I just have to remind myself that I can do it alone, you know?!
Well done on your loss too.

Steps today 16581
Food has been ok, one good thing about SW is that I'm finding new recipes to try!

northender · 11/03/2020 22:47

Hadn't realised I haven't posted for a few days. Have been eating pretty well & have done some good gym classes. Pub tea tonight though so cheese & onion pie and chips followed by a caramel ice cream sundae which was really scrummy. Need to work super hard at circuits tomorrow. Last week I was one pound back down so 13 pounds down for the year so far.
I've got a titbit too happier Grin. I didn't use it for ages but am back on it now again. I struggle with step count as I can't wear it during clinical work, but have done well the last couple of weeks.
curvy sorry to hear about your dd & hope you get some answers

lifelongfrugaleer · 12/03/2020 06:44

Can you wear it on your ankle North for clinic? Will done on the lb off. .
Oo new recipes.mmmm

I'm down a bit today. Managing to stick to 1800 and feel like I'm not restricted so I will stay here a while. 9-10 k steps last couple of days each but I was late, had heavy bag or just couldn't face walking. .
Body pump today

Not2bObvious · 12/03/2020 12:39

That’s a great loss north, well done.
I thought, and I could be wrong life, that 15,000 was for weight loss and when you’re doing maintenance you can scale back. I found 15,000 made me ravenous

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 12/03/2020 14:00

Hi all - steps pathetic so far but only on my wrist since 11am!

My tracking isn't great at the moment as mfp only works for items not already tracked when connected to internet so I need to get organised and plan out my dinner and snacks before going home.

Yesterday I had carbonara for dinner, made with half cream half milk it was yummy, I stayed clear of snacks. I definitely didn't have the calories for it. But I made it myself so at least I knew portion control was right.

Scales dropped another 1.1lbs this morning.

north well done on weight loss so far, I think I'll be lucky to hit the stone lost in the entire year but it'll happen!

I was also starving on 12000+ steps!

Not2bObvious · 12/03/2020 14:39

Whatever you’re doing is clearly working happier, that’s excellent. My waist measurement isn’t great, if anything it’s gone up but I don’t know, might be a bit bunged up despite copious amounts of prunes. Miss my scales 😂
