New thread for 2020 since we didn’t finish the old one by year end

Was it nice happier?
I’ve eaten my dinner for lunch, well most of it. I should go for a walk as it’s not that bad out but I don’t want to.

It was but huge. I used orange flavour and vanilla instead of vanilla and almond.

It's wild here, I'll be decluttering tonight not walking with dog

Not2bObvious · 10/02/2020 16:05

I dragged myself out for a walk but had to go home as it was dangerously wild. Did a bit of a walkie talkie so I’ve just over 7,000 - I’ll get another 3-5 later on about the house. Mad sleet earlier. Nothing stuck but blooming freezing

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 10/02/2020 17:55

Its really cold here too.
I'm going to the theatre tonight, but very luckily it's a 10 minute walk, but if its still raining I will get the bus.

lifelongfrugaleer · 10/02/2020 18:20

It's windy here but ok. Bit of sleet for this morning walk in but just wind home. Currently on 12500 ish and 1586 calories

Not2bObvious · 10/02/2020 19:06

Just about hit my cals, macros aren’t great though but meh. Only 800 steps to get my 10,000

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 10/02/2020 19:30

Wild here, had planned to use my friends shower & cancelled it, I'll go over to bf's tomo eve & use his instead.

I've 118kcals left for evening won't hit macros but I'm not hungry so I'll be ok

lifelongfrugaleer · 10/02/2020 20:36

Got my one day record. Can I make 2?

Happierwithouthim · 11/02/2020 06:09

Didn't eat those calories said I'd make up for the mug cake!

Down 0.9lbs this morn

Not2bObvious · 11/02/2020 07:45

Up a 1.2 this morning - probably down to diner dinner yesterday, not a lot of food but very salty. Sadly back in the 160’s for 3 days. Hope to be back to 159’ish by the weekend. Up 1.5 by average.
Nice one life, you could start a streak, try the X & O thing I’ve been doing on a calendar, surprisingly encouraging.
Good overnight drop happier, at this stage of dieting keeping a few back to make up for past transgressions is good sense.

Happierwithouthim · 11/02/2020 08:07

I'm down 3lbs average since end Dec but 6lbs between highest & lowest weight. It's achieving a new low weight that spurs me on more than bringing down my average.

Was food nice not?

Not2bObvious · 11/02/2020 08:15

It was “Empty your pockets” happier😉 Yes nice enough, I had the cals so I shared a small portion of fries with boneless wings, might have had a sip or 2 of a shake. Not nice enough to warrant a 1.2 gain although I know that’s bloat & nothing, ahem, shifting this morning. I was around the same down from my highest post Christmas numbers, nearly 10 pound down from worst post holiday weights last year (was 168.8 a few times to 159 last week) Of course the previous year I had hit 152 for 10 seconds but let’s not dwell on that...
I’d gotten so excited last week, thought I was turning a corner & I would be one of those people who consistently lose 1-2 pound a week. Oh the gullibility lol

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 11/02/2020 09:14

not you mentioned needing to lose 2lbs a month to get to your goal for next Christmas, you're doing fine with that aren't you?

If I continue as I am I'll be at goal for next Christmas too

Not2bObvious · 11/02/2020 09:49

Yeah I’d forgotten that
Jan 1st - 164
Feb 1st - 161.8
Yeah just about on track on that basis, thanks for the reminder.

Happierwithouthim · 11/02/2020 11:11

Halo Star see you're doing fine

Not2bObvious · 11/02/2020 16:36

It’s blinking freezing here. Had to detour on the way home to collect child from sleet blizzard. Starving too, I have dinner that just needs reheating but I don’t want it, I want something much tastier. But I’ll make my peace with it. Only around 800 steps to hit my minimum, already in my pjs so steps will be on the spot.

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 11/02/2020 16:43

I should say big teenager not I’d left my small child in the blizzard😂 She’s normally on the bus but doing exams & has rotten cold so has regressed to behaviour of a small child - horrific tantrums included. Makes sense now that I think of it why I’m craving sugary/salty food, self soothing from the stress of parenting

lifelongfrugaleer · 11/02/2020 18:19

Missed gym at lunch due to pointless meeting. Will be about 1681 calories today and 15k steps +

lifelongfrugaleer · 11/02/2020 18:20

That's ahead of 2lb per month isn't it. Great going not.
Bloody freezing and sleet here. Got to go back out to swim in a bit

Not2bObvious · 11/02/2020 19:00

Not going to be a good number tomorrow for sure, just had a chinese - might leave weighing til Thursday to avoid the upset

lifelongfrugaleer · 11/02/2020 21:26

Not worth the angst over a salt blip

northender · 11/02/2020 21:37

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 11/02/2020 23:00

Hi everyone

My weight was up this morning. 12s2lb
No surprising really.
I've not been sleeping properly since Saturday night, everytime I hear dd move, I'm checking on her, so I have made some poor food choices, just grabbing stuff instead of doing proper food.
Will try better tomorrow.
Steps today 13812.

northender · 11/02/2020 23:59

Tiredness really is the enemy isn't it? You're bound to be on edge curvy. Would it help if you prepared some healthy snacks in advance for when you get the munchies?
I did 8,000 steps but don't wear my Fitbit in work so it will have been over 10000

lifelongfrugaleer · 12/02/2020 06:40

Can you put it in your ankle while at work North?
Of course you are all over the place curvy. Any news on why this one was different?
Yy to healthy snacks even get some of the Aldi ready meals. Do the epilepsy people do some kind of sensor for over night? Sorry but it's not something I know about but if it could help you sleep.

Finally a shift down today.
Day 2 done. Aiming for day 3 today.
