379 cals over yesterday - a Lindor egg & a Jameson & Pepsi Max entirely necessary after a 'discussion' re division of proceeds of house & maintenance, actually the lindor didn't help like I thought it would. Jameson did though Grin

Sts this morning GrinShock probably flux tomo. Wink

Grocery shopping this evening. Freezer food to the minimum because going from 8 drawers to 3 in two weeks. Want to continue using 3 Dunnes vouchers so will stock up on washing capsules if I'm under the money. I know wrong thread but kind of related!

You can do without sleep if you've enough food but you can't do without both at the same time. Is there any kind of alarm like a bed wetting one that your dd could wear curvy

Life one day at a time sweet Jesus (music emoticon) Grin

Not2bObvious · 12/02/2020 07:29

No wonder you’re not sleeping well curvy, and tiredness coupled with worry make dieting v difficult. Staying in a kind of maintenance mode would be ideal until you’re in a stronger place. Hope your dd is doing ok.
I have an msg hangover, woke at 3am and then couldn’t get properly back asleep and was up at 6. Scales up as predicted and after entering all my food into mfp it’s not surprising. Anyway it’s out of my system now, just need to keep well hydrated & stick to my calories. It’s simple, just not always easy. It is going to be a lonnnnngggggg day

HappierGrin and Flowers in equal measure. Is it going to be as tough as you thought this last step?

Not, it's as you say msg. Lots of water to flush it through.

Down today but we will see. There will be home made cheesecake in my life on Friday....mmmm

Happierwithouthim · 12/02/2020 11:44

Extremely tough life sure that's who I'm dealing with, bf has been a great sounding board, plus I talked to my mother too.

lifelongfrugaleer · 12/02/2020 16:17

Stay strong my lovely. One last step then it's done. X

Happierwithouthim · 12/02/2020 17:11

That's exactly it - I was talking to bf last night about a thing to stop draft coming down chimney and he says to me 'would you rather listen to the chimney howl or your man howl' GrinGrin he just has the knack for making me smile!

lifelongfrugaleer · 12/02/2020 17:34

Wise words from bf

lifelongfrugaleer · 12/02/2020 17:56

I've gone 200 over today as I felt really unwell and hungry.
Me average calories for the last 4 days is 1759 R3. I've done 15k steps each day and lost about 1lb. I know it's meant to be week on week but in going to stick to between 16-1800 and be ok with that. Then see

Not2bObvious · 12/02/2020 18:00

200 over is feck all, and as you said you’re still within your cals on average. I think you have to go with the flow some data/weeks, nothing is carved in stone.
Highest amount of steps today, over 13,500. Blooming starving now though, around 250 left so not all is lost. Pity all I want is crisps & chocolate, will have to find something a bit more filling

lifelongfrugaleer · 12/02/2020 18:09

I've been sniffing the biscuits at work. Much to the amusement of my team

Not2bObvious · 12/02/2020 18:34

That reminds me of a weight loss patch thing I bought, kid you not it was a scratch & sniff thing that was meant to help with cravings. And here we are...so I guess it wasn’t much cop!

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 12/02/2020 19:13

And I’m around 500 over, ouf, will have to turn this week around tomorrow.

139 left stuffed after dinner so might not use them, I did go way over last night after all.

Not have you ever bought fresh fish from Dunnes? Today was my first time, lemon pepper salmon darnes in a cook in the bag bag, steams the fish, famous & 2 lovely sized fillets for €6. Think I'm going to make shopping day fish day for dinner because it can be cooking while I'm doing shop & scan.

Not2bObvious · 12/02/2020 21:08

No I haven’t but that sounds lovely happier, I reckon having a fish day once a week is a great way of getting decent protein & low cals. I find salmon super filling. Great to bank a few cals too.
Had to put myself to bed, I’m so much safer out of the kitchen vicinity.

Happierwithouthim · 13/02/2020 05:40

That should have said fabulous not famous Grin

Happierwithouthim · 13/02/2020 05:41

I'd fish twice yesterday just thinking tuna for lunch & salmon for dinner Shock

Happierwithouthim · 13/02/2020 06:15

-0.9lbs this morning Smile

lifelongfrugaleer · 13/02/2020 06:44

Down a bit more this morning. Raining here so going to get a lift to work but will do pump at lunch and walk back.
Won't get 15k as Zumba tonight is looking doubtful due to DH work

Not2bObvious · 13/02/2020 07:54

That’s great happier & life. Been for a walk before my shower so 8,000 steps done, takes a bit of pressure off the rest of the day. I’ll weigh in a few minutes, hoping it’s better news than yesterday, which didn’t make it into the Fitbit app

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 13/02/2020 08:31

Down a bit but still up in the overall average by .9 - decided to add in yesterday’s high as well, on track for a gain.

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 13/02/2020 08:59

I can’t subtract, it’s 1.9 up - jasus

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 13/02/2020 09:08

Everyone down a bit, that's positive - wish my lifestyle was as exercise filled as yers, maybe I should get a bike for coming to work when I move to bought house. It's 3.9 miles, I don't like cycling though.

Not2bObvious · 13/02/2020 10:58

I wouldn’t get a bike if you don’t like cycling. Can be dangerous too. I wish I could do more than walk, I suppose I should be thankful I can do that at least.

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 13/02/2020 11:03

There's zero traffic on the road when I go to work but still I hate cycling, it would be exercise incorporated into my daily routine though.

Not2bObvious · 13/02/2020 11:27

I suppose you could get a second hand bike and sell it on if it wasn’t for you. Save on fuel/wear & tear on car etc. Be taking your life in your hands where I am to cycle.
