@dottydolly72 it was very eclectic!... the menu was very 70’s
@SunshineCake I see a downward trend from your Sat 04-Jan-20 09:09:10 post. There is a high of 12:6:8 and a low of 12:6:4. Overall I see you’re dropping. A bit like me, I lose, gain a bit, lose a bit more, gain a bit back and so on but generally my graph will be going downwards iyswim. Saying that if I was to go proper off piste, take my eye of the ball I would see weeks/months of progress undone :( @FrazzledCareerWoman & @ Galvantula demonstrates good examples with the graph they have posted. YES you will get into the 11’s in 2020!
Raspberries and strawberries are very low in fruit fibre and jam packed with fibre and vitamins. They are fine (if You’re not intolerant) to eat within your eating window. Plus I wanted to say a big well done on your improved emotional health around food. That’s huge progress!
@MrsJonesAndMe we are weight loss twins this week as we have lost the same
@fallfallfall that landscape looks absolutely stunning! Is that the view from where you live or is it from where you walk? Is it a patchwork quilt? You are a very talented lady! Lucky granddaughter. I’m sure the quilt will become an heirloom.
I’ve seen a couple of posts referring to chocolate tea 😍. I must have missed the original. Is there a link? Talking of which I have some Teapigs Chocolate & Mint tea (or did have). Very carby (sugar) but lovely.
@Mumski45 well done on your loss!
Here you go @SheepSocks. Hope it helps.
@2020newme My Sunday’s are generally OMAD if I serve the roast between 15:00 - 16:00. I have contemplated trying another day in the week too. I don’t think I could consecutively do them though.
@annabell22 how disappointing for you. I hope you see positive change soon! ... rest further down and you’re down! Yay 😀
I totally agree with @cherrytree63. To keep craving low eat generally less carby foods and have protein for satiety. That woe also helps balance blood sugars too.
Well done on the Park Run @NorthernPowermouse! In regards to MFP and earns calories ... it’s never consistent. However I don’t mind as I don’t eat them back.
@riotlady I hope you feel better! I second the Happy Scale app!
@WeKnowFrogsGoShaLaLaLaLa oh no! Sorry to hear that! Fires crossed for Wednesday weigh in.
Hi @DrDiva it will be easier once you’re back in your regular routine.
@JBCG good luck for your first day back at work! Sounds like you’ve planned well for it with meal prepped and diarised gym session. Well done!
Warm Welcome @MinnieLatte you’ve come to the right place. It’s a shock isn’t it when you strip bare (literally) and see yourself as you really are and it’s not how you see yourself in your minds eye. I had the same experience. Someone sent me a photo they’d taken of me driving past in a MG Midget sports car (it was one we were considering buying but didn’t). I truly didn’t recognise myself. That prompted me to weigh myself. I was utterly shocked to find I was the heaviest I’d ever been at a little over 12 stone. I felt sick and sickened in equal measure. My waist size was similar to yours, I was pre diabetic & post menopause. Not a pretty picture. I’ve in the main turned it around and lost 2 stone. I need to see another stone off then re-evaluate. Blummin titties are a stone a piece so I’m up against it
. Keep reading and posting ... we’ll help you get you where you want to be!
Warm Welcome @CarrotPuff. I hope your cold soon leaves you. Great to read you have a plan and motivation to run marathons!
@Weffiepops great progress!
@Ethiopianflower could it be you don’t feel as responsible when eating at other peoples houses and add in that you might not want to offend your hosts? Don’t beat yourself up but don’t do it again j/k
@Foreverlexicon level headed, sensible as usual and going for the damage limitation approach. Thumbs up!
It will all get easier once we are all in our regular routines, meaning back at work (for some) and children returning to school. We’ve got a good vibe going on this thread, feel supported in your endeavours and continue to share your ups and your downs. With planning, motivation, mindful eating, exercise & support we are all going to be successful in 2020!
Have a great week!
